Cain replied, gritting his teeth as he thought about the battle.
"One day, when the opportunity presents itself, I will get my revenge!"
he continued in a booming voice.
"I also heard that Austin has a lot of avatars training in different space seas in the Absolute Space Sea.
It's very weird. He must be practicing a strange cultivation method,"
one of the wizards added, looking off into the distance like he was deep in thought.
"That's right.
He is practicing a strange cultivation method. We still haven't figured out what it is,"
Cain replied.
"Hmm... That sounds like it has something to do with a very rare treasure that is spoken about in the
legends,"
another wizard chimed in, scratching his chin.
"What is it?"
asked the other wizards.
"The fruit of supreme enlightenment.
It is a very rare treasure. Has any of you heard about it before?"
the wizard asked.
"What? The fruit of supreme enlightenment?"
It was clear that they all had heard the legends. Shock was etched into all of their faces and some of
their jaws had dropped.
"That is a priceless treasure. After one eats it, he or she can create eight-one avatars. Each one of the
avatars is an independent being and has different personalities, hobbies, and talents.
They leave their real self and cultivate on their own. At some point, they will merge back into their real
self, and everything they experienced will be shared between them.
The fruit of supreme enlightenment is sought after by level-ten governing gods that crave breaking
through and becoming gods of chaos.
If a level-ten governing god can manage to obtain it, the probability of him breaking through and
becoming a god of chaos is increased by absorbent amounts,"
Cain explained.
A few seconds later, a frown covered his face.
"Damn it!
Austin is a level-ten governing god.
He must have obtained the fruit of supreme enlightenment and used it to create all of his avatars that
are cultivating in different space seas.
He is not using a strange cultivation method. He's preparing to break through to a god of chaos!"
Cain yelled in surprise.
"Yes!
He must be!"
The other wizards nodded in agreement, although none of them liked the idea of Austin becoming a
god of chaos.
"Austin is only a level-ten governing god now, but his strength is way more advanced than it should be.
If he breaks through and becomes a god of chaos, how high will his strength go?
He will wreak havoc on our darkness race!"
one of the wizards remarked.
"You are right.
We can't let him break through and become a god of chaos.
Otherwise, it will take us forever to deal with him,"
Cain said. His frown had deepened, creating dark shadows all over his face.
"Okay. Before we panic, let's all deduce if Austin is breaking through to a god of chaos,"
Cain suggested.
"Yes. Let's do it right now."
The others nodded in agreement and closed their eyes straight away, preparing to deduce.
Then, under Cain's lead, all of the wizards tried to find Austin and see what he was up to.
They made complicated hand gestures that resembled an intricate dance. Black runes rose from their
bodies until several of them had seeped into the space. After a while, they sensed Austin's presence,
despite him being far away.
A long time passed, and then, one of the wizards' eyes popped open.
"I saw Austin cultivating in a small world!"
he shouted.
"Me too! He is trying to break through to a god of chaos!"
"You're right!
I have no doubt in my mind that Austin is trying to break through to a god of chaos!"
Before long, all the wizards were expressing their horror about Austin's current activities.
"It's true!
Austin put so many of his avatars in different space seas to cultivate so he could make preparations to
break through to a god of chaos!"
Cain chimed in, gnashing his teeth together.
"Austin is so strong that once he becomes a god of chaos, there will be very few people in our
darkness race who can defeat him.
We can't let him become a god of chaos.
We have to stop him!"
Cain continued.
"You are right! We can't let Austin break through!"
The other wizards all nodded their heads vigorously.
"Quick! We have to inform the three Lords of Darkness!"
Cain said, scurrying to his feet.
Then, he left the huge palace with all of the other wizards and they ran to the place where the three
Lords of Darkness were.
When they burst inside, the three Lords of Darkness were deep in discussion with the four senior
leaders from the Time Chamber Sect. They were trying to figure out a way to deal with the
reincarnation race.
"Cain, what brings you here?"
the first Lord of Darkness asked when he noticed all the wizards running towards them.
"Sirs, we have just deduced that Austin is trying to break through to a god of chaos.
That's why he had so many avatars cultivating in different space seas!
He has the fruit of supreme enlightenment!"
Cain reported.
"What?
Austin has the fruit of supreme enlightenment?
Can you confirm this?"
The news was one of the last things the three Lords of Darkness and the four senior leaders from the
Time Chamber Sect were expecting Cain to say. They stared at him with wide eyes.
Because they were all top masters in the Absolute Space Sea, they knew about the fruit of supreme
enlightenment.
"As far as I know, the fruit of supreme enlightenment only exists in the Frigid Continent. Has Austin
ever been there?
No, I don't think he has. The Frigid Continent is so dangerous that I can't even go in it.
Austin's strength is too low. He wouldn't enter it.
Did you make a mistake?"
one of the senior leaders from the Time Chamber Sect asked.
"No, we didn't.
There is no other explanation. Austin must have obtained the fruit of supreme enlightenment, and
eaten it. That was how he created so many avatars to cultivate in different space seas.
Now, he is cultivating in seclusion to try and break through to a god of chaos,"
Cain explained in a serious voice.
"Cain is the most powerful wizard in our darkness race. If he sounds this sure, it must be true. There's
no reason to doubt his words,"
the first Lord of Darkness said.
"I can't believe that Austin made it out of the Frigid Continent alive and obtained the fruit of supreme
enlightenment.
It's incredible!"
one of the senior leaders from the Time Chamber Sect exclaimed.
"Yes. It's unbelievable that he got out of the Frigid Continent alive.
Austin is very lucky,"
the first Lord of Darkness echoed.
