Austin said indifferently with his hands behind his back, looking coldly at the governing gods.
They exchanged glances with each other and soon reached an agreement.
"We are convinced of your overwhelming strength, Master Austin,"
one of them said and the rest of them nodded. Despite not knowing for sure whether Donovan really
had handed the ruling power of the Blade Cosmos over to Austin, they had no other choice.
Austin was undeniably stronger than Donovan. There was no question about that.
The governing gods were not powerful enough to resist him.
And if they didn't obey Austin, he would surely kill them. They had heard of his impatient killing sprees.
"Good. It's a clever choice. Remember your words. If you ever betray me, I will end your lives with my
own hands,"
Austin warned.
The governing gods of the Blade Cosmos who had followed Austin to the Dragon Cosmos burst into
laughter when their companions surrendered.
"I told you, there's no point in resisting Master Austin!"
"I am at a loss of words. Master Austin is the successor designated by Supreme Grandmaster
Donovan. How could you question his authority?"
"Are you doubting Supreme Grandmaster Donovan now?"
"Never mind. Forget it," Austin said, waving his hand casually.
"Now, tell me what's going on here.
You seem to have conquered only half of the Dragon Cosmos."
"Yes, Master Austin. You're right.
The Dragon Cosmos is not exactly weak. Their army is giving their all to protect the remaining territory
which we haven't occupied yet. Over the past few years, we have been tied in a stalemate.
We have asked Supreme Grandmaster Donovan to send reinforcements many times, but we have
been stuck here for years,"
one of the governing gods answered, stepping forward.
"There are more than forty governing gods in the Dragon Cosmos and each of them is incredibly
powerful. We have but a dozen governing gods here. That's another reason why we haven't been able
to launch an attack. All we are doing currently is guarding the territory we have occupied so far,"
another governing god added.
Austin nodded in understanding and then said, "Prepare the army.
Follow me and we will conquer the entire Dragon Cosmos!"
"Yes, sir!"
The governing gods were overjoyed upon hearing his command.
He was decisive and quick to act.
It had been their biggest yearning over the years; they had been waiting for this day. With Austin
leading their army, they were bound to win.
Soon, the army of the Blade Cosmos was ready to march into battle.
The void was densely packed with numerous soldiers, and the end of the line of soldiers could not be
seen at a glance.
"Let's go!"
With a wave of his hand, Austin strode towards the territory of the Dragon Cosmos that hadn't been
conquered yet.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The mighty army marched in the void, emitting an astonishing aura that swept through the entire
cosmos.
"It's the army of the Blade Cosmos! They are coming!"
"Get ready to fight! Assemble the army!"
The creatures of the Dragon Cosmos were caught off-guard and shouted to each other in panic.
"Don't be afraid! Gather our men and get ready to fight!"
The governing gods of the Dragon Cosmos soared into the sky one by one and looked in the direction
of the army of the Blade Cosmos.
It took only a short while for the army of the Dragon Cosmos to get organized. Led by their governing
gods, they moved forward, ready to face their enemy.
"Damn! Looks like the reinforcements of the Blade Cosmos have arrived."
The governing gods of the Dragon Cosmos noticed dozens more of their counterparts marching in front
of the army.
Both sides were inching closer,
and finally, the two mighty armies were face to face.
"Creatures of the Dragon Cosmos, listen carefully. Master Austin, the leader of the Blade Cosmos has
come here in person. Kneel before him now, and he will let you live.
Otherwise, face the consequences of going against the army of the Blade Cosmos!"
a governing god from the Blade Cosmos announced after taking a step forward.
"Master Austin? Who the hell is Austin? We've only heard of Donovan of the Blade Cosmos.
And even if Donovan came in person, we wouldn't kneel before him.
What the hell can this Austin do to us? What makes him so great?"
"If it's a fight you want, you will get it.
You bastards have killed so many creatures of the Dragon Cosmos over the years, and you owe us a
heavy debt. Today, we will make you pay!"
Years of rage boiled inside them. The governing gods waved the magic treasures in their hands
threateningly.
"How dare you insult Master Austin?
Do you know who he is? He is far superior to all you insects!"
"Yes! Kneel down and apologize this instant!
Master Austin may spare your lives if you beg for his mercy, or you will all die here!"

A governing god of the Dragon Cosmos pointed towards Austin, who was standing at the head of the
army with his hands behind his back.
He said loudly, "Don't tell me this brat is your Master Austin."
"Yes, that's right! This is Master Austin.
He rules the Blade Cosmos now!"
a governing god of the Blade Cosmos answered proudly.
"What? Are you kidding me?
He is a mere semi-governing god. I can crush him to death with just a flick of my finger. He is the ruler
of the Blade Cosmos now? This is ridiculous!
Are you implying that so many of you barged into this bloody battlefield believing in this young semi-
governing god?
Are you out of your mind?
Where is Donovan? Is he dead?"
"No wonder you haven't dared to attack us all these years. So, Donovan was dead all this time and the
Blade Cosmos is being ruled by this weak, young semi-governing god.
Looks like this is the end of the line for the great Blade Cosmos!"
"Yeah, your time is over! You have become weak. I wonder where you got the courage from to invade
the Dragon Cosmos without Donovan.
We can now drive you out and take back our stolen territories.
And since you are so ripe for the taking, we will gladly invade and occupy the Blade Cosmos!
I hope you are prepared to die!"
The governing gods of the Dragon Cosmos burst into laughter and looked at Austin with disdain and
contempt.
Austin stood calmly at the head of the army with his hands behind his back. His face was
expressionless. It was a calm before the storm. He looked at the governing gods of the Dragon
Cosmos and asked lightly,
"So you think I am too weak to rule the Blade Cosmos, is it?"
