Time ticked slowly.
Numerous blade arrays appeared again. They were starting to gain the upper hand in the battle!
The Sword Cosmos' army was at a disadvantage.
"Kill them! Kill all of these rubbish from the Sword Cosmos!"
"I can't believe the audacity of these people! We, the Blade Cosmos, are the one who invades other
supreme universes, not the other way around. Nobody ever had the guts to infiltrate us before!
I did not expect these Sword Cosmos losers to be so bold!"
"Thanks to Supreme Grandmaster Donovan, the Blade Cosmos will always remain invincible
forevermore!"
The Blade Cosmos' army menacingly laughed at the Sword Cosmos. They had always thought of
themselves as superior, unable to be toppled over by any other army who dared. As long as they had
Donovan on their side, they would remain incomparable to any other.
The Sword Cosmos, however, was stubborn and determined. The insults and jeers they hurled at them
were ineffective. "We're not backing down! Gather and regroup!"
"Let's form a battle array to resist their attacks!"
More than three hundred governing gods led their soldiers and formed a barrier to neutralize the
damage of the Blade Cosmos' strikes.
They were unfazed, steadfast, and tenacious―they valiantly faced their enemy head-on.
Fortunately, the governing gods had effectively minimized the Blade Cosmos' assaults. Otherwise, the
whole army of the Sword Cosmos would have been defeated already.
"Just a little longer, guys. I'm studying how to break the array. Once I destroy these blade arrays, we
can infiltrate their area immediately!"
Austin's voice reached through every member of the Sword Cosmos' army.
Hearing their leader's voice boosted their morale. His divine god slaves, in particular, got all fired up.
"Keep at it, master! We will do everything in our power to hold the fort!" they enthusiastically answered.
As Austin's slaves, they held his order in a high regard―it was more important than anything else.
Hence, they did everything to carry it out.
"Don't be afraid, everyone. Master Austin is with us. We'll be fine as long as he is here!"
The creatures from the Sword Cosmos reassured each other. They trusted Austin's skill and potential
immensely.
Around two hours later, Austin felt it―he had finally made it.
"This is more than enough," he whispered to himself.
Then, he suddenly opened his eyes. They were as vast as the endless starry skies. Boundless energy
from the law of reincarnation circulated and surged in his irises.
After a painstaking and rigorous task of unification, he had finally combined the energy from the law of
reincarnation and the Mind Sword Skill perfectly.
Austin could feel that his mind power seemed to have increased a little.
"These innovations could truly enhance my understanding of the mind power. My level could improve
through this!
I'm excited to give it a go. I'd like to see if it would work,"
Austin murmured.
Then,
he immediately unleashed his newly-discovered skill.
Shoop! Shoop! Shoop!
A myriad of mind swords dashed at lightning speed and attacked one of the blade arrays.
Not only did these powerful daggers contained mind power, but they were also filled with mysterious
energy from the law of reincarnation.
It was a lethal combination―they were even faster and more potent than a simple mind sword.
The law of reincarnation amplified its speed thoroughly.
Actually, the law of reincarnation had the ability to make things move faster.
Shoop! Shoop! Shoop!
The mind swords headed straight into the blade array one after another, slashing at the blade
cultivators inside and attacking their bodies.
"Arghhh!"
The blade cultivators screamed in pain.
Their throats gurgled as they struggled to breathe, and they spat copious amounts of blood. Their
complexion started to drain its color from the tremendous blood loss, and their breathing began to
hitch. The pain was merciless without escape.
However, the blade array immediately released a strong energy to protect these blade cultivators.
In this way, these blade cultivators could still be saved.
Shoop! Shoop! Shoop!
Austin unleashed the Mind Sword Skill once again and more mind swords pierced the array. In a flash,
most of the law energies surrounding it were destroyed.
The blade cultivators, however, fought back hard. They released more law energies to maintain the
normal operation of the blade array.
But then,
after several back and forth assaults from Austin, something terrible began to happen.
The blade cultivators inside the array started to scream in panic. An unfamiliar and unwelcome energy
suddenly introduced itself to their bodies.
"What's going on? A terrible law energy suddenly appeared inside me.
It is blocking me.
I can't release my own law energies!"
"Arghh! I-It's the law of reincarnation! Why did this terrifying law suddenly appeared in my body?"
"I can't move!"
"All my energies have been sealed!"
They wanted to release their own law energies to maintain their intricate system, but they found that
they couldn't anymore.
As a result, the energy supply within the blade array became scarce. There were not enough energies
to maintain it anymore.
The blade array started to gradually weaken.
The power it held was instantly reduced by half!
Its stability had enormously crumbled.
"Attack the blade array now!"
Grabbing the opportunity, Austin quickly ordered his three hundred reincarnation slaves to ambush the
array.
They spared no time and simultaneously summoned their powers. The tremors of their attacks were
aimed directly at the blade array. It was terrifying.
The combined power of the three hundred governing gods concurrently striking a single target was
unimaginable.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The blade array exploded with a deafening boom, and huge mushroom clouds of energy rose.
"Arghhh!"
Most of the blade cultivators inside the blade array had perished.
Consequently, with no one manning its foundation, the array itself had fallen apart.
The Sword Cosmos' army cheered! As soon as the blade array fell apart, their determination was even
more lit up.
"Great!
A blade array has been broken!"
"You are amazing, master!"
For more than half a day, they couldn't progress past the arrays. They had suffered countless
casualties because of it.
But now, the array they abhorred was finally broken. They couldn't describe the exhilaration they felt.
"Next!"
Austin looked at the next blade array.
Shoop! Shoop! Shoop!
He channeled the mind swords with the law of reincarnation again. It attacked the targeted blade array
relentlessly.
Miserable cries and screams permeated the atmosphere. The blade cultivators howled from the
searing pain.
Soon, the array fell apart. Austin had cut off all the law energies inside of it.
With the blade cultivators badly wounded or dead, there would be no one to repair the damages done
around it.
As a result, the power of the blade array was reduced. Its former impenetrable fortress was long gone.
Taking advantage of this situation, the Sword Cosmos' army began to take action.
"Attack!"
Austin loudly bellowed.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
With his battle cry, the reincarnation slaves launched attacks toward the blade array.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The explosions the blade array made were thunderous.
The blade cultivators perished and were turned into bloody mess―even their spiritual souls were gone.
They were reduced to absolutely nothing.
Another blade array was broken.
"Great! These blade arrays are finally broken!"
"Yes! We are finally gaining the upper hand! Victory will soon be ours!"
A cacophony of applause and cheer sounded among the Sword Cosmos' army.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Next, with the same tactic, Austin and his men broke more and more blade arrays.
"No way!
This is impossible!
He broke my blade arrays!
How did he do it?"
Donovan felt thunderstruck and furious at the same time. His face was contorted into an indescribable
rage.
"It seems that these blade arrays you set up are not as powerful as you claimed them to be,"
Austin teased, his eyes darkly locked with Donovan, who was watching everything from afar.
