Five days later, Austin's eyes suddenly flew open from where he was sitting cross-legged.

"I've entered the Major Achievement Stage of cultivating the law of illusion!" Austin excitedly exclaimed.

Streaks of twisting light of law shot out from his head.

Numerous illusions, like vortexes, constantly moved around Austin.

In Austin's Soul Sea, the diameter of the golden sphere of spiritual sense reached around a hundred

thousand meters already.

Dazzling dark golden light poured out of the golden sphere along with terrifying spiritual sense.

"After comprehending over a hundred Illusionary Tokens, I finally reached the Major Achievement

Stage of the law of illusion.

I finally made it."

Austin sighed in relief.

Based on his estimation, the better he was with the law of illusion, the more Illusionary Tokens he'd

need to improve his mastery.

It was because he found that the Illusionary Tokens ended up being less useful for him after he used

too many of them.

Austin's spiritual sense, like thousands of tentacles, spread far away.

The farther his spiritual sense went, the more he could perceive.

"Wait!

Seems like I can sense the entire maze now."

Surprise and joy bloomed on Austin's face as he jumped to his feet.

His spiritual sense managed to cover the entire maze.

With the use of his spiritual sense, he estimated that the maze covered an area of about forty billion

square miles.

At that moment, Austin could see everything that was happening within the maze.

"As expected, most people already left after getting their hands on three Illusionary Tokens.

While the others lost their lives here,"

Austin murmured to himself as he scanned through the entire maze using his spiritual sense.

After he counted heads, he found that there were only dozens of creatures remained in the maze.

"The people who are still in the maze are relatively weak. Most of them act alone and haven't collected

three Illusionary Tokens yet."

Austin shook his head with a smile on his lips

"All right. I'll turn them into my slaves."

Austin's smile turned into a cold sneer.

Red string shot out of his head when he unleashed the Puppet Strings.

Each one flew in different directions.

Every inch of the maze became filled with red strings.

"Ahhh!"

Screams of pain echoed in the maze as the red strings broke into the Soul Sea of all the creatures left.

Using the Puppet Strings, Austin also utilized the illusions to attack the remaining creatures.

A moment later, the tears of the creatures came to a halt as their eyes became clouded with

obedience.

Moving as one, they activated their bodily movement skills and headed towards Austin.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Over twenty creatures appeared before Austin in neat lines with their heads bowed respectfully.

"Master!"

all the creatures greeted as one.

"Heads up."

Austin nodded at them in response.

Most of the creatures were genuine preliminary-grade divine gods, while the rest were ordinary divine

gods.

These ordinary divine gods used to be slaves of the beast race. They got lost and managed to survive

in the maze on their own.

However, Austin wouldn't mind having more ordinary divine gods at his disposal.

Shock filled the three mermaids when they saw Austin's action, but it only served to make them admire

him even more.

Admiration filled their eyes as they gazed at him.

They were right around the age where their hearts were susceptible to love.

For them, Austin was a young hero and their attraction to him was natural.

"Sally, you met Austin earlier than us. Do you know what kind of girl he likes?"

one of the mermaids whispered to her cousin.

For a moment, Sally was stunned before a grin bloomed on her lips.

"Why are you asking that? Do you have a crush on him?"

Sally teased.

"What are you talking about? You know that I just like gossip! I was just curious. Don't get me wrong."

The mermaid flushed red.

"Oh is that so? I didn't realize,"

Sally chuckled.

"I'm just curious! I swear!

Sally, why are you acting like this? Do you have feelings for Austin?"

Sally's cousin jokingly questioned.

"You even know how to talk back now. I'm going to teach you a lesson." Sally played along.

In one quick move, she began to tickle her cousin until it turned into a cat fight.

'I have got another batch of slaves. Not bad, '

Austin thought to himself, as he surveyed the slaves in front of him.

In the blink of an eye, he transported them into the continent he created.

Bringing along so many slaves would attract unnecessary attention.

There was no way that Austin wanted that.

By then, the two mermaids had stopped their playful battle.

All of a sudden, something caught Austin's attention.

"Wait!

What's that?"

Surprise appeared on his face.

With the aid of his spiritual sense, he spotted a place in the maze which emitted a special aura.

He had a feeling that there must be something unusual about that place.

Out of curiosity, Austin immediately dashed towards the location.

"Wait for us!"

All three mermaids were taken aback by Austin's actions and ran after him.

However, Austin was much faster than them.

More than just pure speed, illusions were in every corner of the maze to jam their spiritual senses.

It was impossible for them to catch up with him.

In the wink of an eye, they lost all signs of Austin.

"He's a pain in the ass!"

Anger and fear filled Sally as she furrowed her brows at where she last saw Austin's shadow.

"Sally... Do you think Austin plan to leave us behind?"

Disappointment poured out of the two other mermaids.

"Stay right there and don't take another step."

Right when they were about to drown in frustration and sadness, Austin's voice reached their ears.

Excitement replaced their negative emotions.

"Austin, where are you going? Why didn't you take us with you?"

Sally demanded.

However, she received no response.

"Sally, what should we do?"

one of the mermaids asked.

"How about we activate the Illusionary Tokens and teleport ourselves out of here?"

the other mermaid suggested.

Each of them had more than three Illusionary Tokens in their possession.

They got the tokens from Austin.

Therefore, they were free to leave the maze any time.

"Since he asked us to stay here, we do as he says. I believe that he won't leave us behind.

Besides, we'll die if we meet Elder Osbert outside the maze.

It's safer to be with Austin and we might even be able to go home after this, safe and sound,"

Sally decided.

"Got it. Let's wait for him here."

Not a single word of complaint left the two other mermaids and they just nodded in agreement.

All three girls stood still while they wait for Austin's return.

At that moment, Austin arrived at a tall palace.

Thick layers of illusions surrounded the palace along with a myriad amount of light of law of illusion.

Beams of light mixed with each other to display strange visions.

However, Austin was immune to the illusions.

He went straight to the gate of the palace.

"There's something in this palace that's calling for me.

This palace plays a critical role in the maze.

Perhaps the maze exist because of this place,"

Austin murmured to himself.

After he observed the palace for a moment, he headed into it.
