Using the purple brown herbal pot, Austin began practicing how to make the Energy-prevailing Elixir.
After he failed almost forty times, Austin was finally able to grasp the skills of making the Energy-
prevailing Elixir. He could now make it successfully and easily.
The elixirs that were spent in the failed forty attempts were obviously wasted. Those elixirs were worth
an estimated hundred thousand vital energy crystals. Hence, if a person wanted to be a pill refiner, he
must have ample resources to practice his skills. The road of growing into a successful pill refiner was

one of the top five in the Violet Orchid Empire would try their best to keep a good faith with him and

After putting away all the Energy-prevailing Elixirs and the herbal pot, Austin stretched his body lazily

Deep in the valley, Violet was chatting with other demonic foxes who were her best friends. The gnome
however was nowhere to be found.
In the last few days whenever Austin indulged himself in alchemy, Violet would spend time with her
good friends. The gnome, being exuberant in nature, found it difficult to stay at one place all this time.
This implied that Austin didn't always know where the gnome was.
Sometimes the gnome was interested in watching Austin practice making pills, so he would stay beside
Austin for a while. When he got bored, the gnome would go on a search for some herbs to eat.
Austin had found out that most of the time he couldn't sense where the gnome was through his spiritual
sense force. Austin had noticed this when he was in the valley in the Mysterious Nether World where
Angus lived.
In that small valley, Angus had set up a huge array with great spiritual sense, which gave off extremely
tremendous spiritual sense force. Covered by that, both Austin and Violet felt impossible to take a small
step. However, the gnome could run around as usual, as if the spiritual sense force had no effect on
him whatsoever.
From then on, Austin started to pay attention to the gnome's talents.
Austin found that sometimes even when the gnome was nearby, he could not feel the gnome's
existence with his spiritual sense at all. When his spiritual sense force swept over the body of the
gnome, he found nothing there.
As Austin had expected, the gnome appeared out of thin air not far after a short while. He had herbs at
the fifth or sixth grade in his arms and ate the herbs leisurely, enjoying the activity thoroughly. The
gnome seemed comfortable in the warm sunshine.
On seeing Austin looking at the herbs in his arms, the gnome became alert. He pulled the herbs
towards him and hugged them tightly and tried to hide them behind his back.
Austin smiled patronizingly while shaking his head.
The level six rhinoceros king had almost recovered by now. Violet had not attempted to kill it and hence
it was not injured badly. Plus, Austin had given it a great many elixirs of high grades.
So the rhinoceros king was almost as healthy as before other than some wounds on its skin.
It had been staying around Austin for these days, being loyal to its benevolent master.
All the demonic beasts and diabolic beasts were absolutely loyal to their master as long as they had
been subdued with the Beast-subduing Skill. They were supremely obedient.
Austin felt content with the loyalty of the rhinoceros king.
"It seems I shall subdue more demonic beasts or diabolic beasts soon," Austin murmured.
Then he gave off his spiritual sense force out, centered around this small valley and spread it out in the
shape of a sphere.
Austin's spiritual sense force could now cover a distance of up to 46, 000 meters.
He detected all the beasts inside this area, including the demonic beasts and diabolic beasts, one by
one. He found several beasts at level six soon enough.
Communicating with violet, Austin leapt onto a huge tree that was right beside him. He jumped from the
tree and flew into the air, quite like a bird.
Austin now was at the medium level of the Sky Realm. A cultivator in the Sky Realm was able to
overcome the gravity of the planet for a short while and fly some distance away.
As a matter of fact, these cultivators from the Sky Realm weren't really flying. Firstly, it was too slow.
The speed was considerably lower than an ordinary bird. Secondly, a common cultivator at the Sky
Realm usually needed to land on the ground to refresh their breath before he could continue flying.
If Austin used his Wind-commanding Skill to run on the ground, he could travel at a speed similar to the

entire area around the small valley, he found that the highest level of the beasts was six.
According to Violet, level seven beasts might be hidden deep in another area. They might be within the
Grand Desolation Mountain.
So Austin realized that he wouldn't be able to find beasts more powerful than level six outside the
Grand Desolation Mountain.
