Jean praised as he put his hands together.
Just then, a few strong warriors of the Wu Clan came forward one by one and introduced themselves to
Austin.
The old man with the strength of a premium-grade divine god had been seriously injured. He was the
last patriarch of the Wu Clan and was the strongest in the clan for the time being.
The reason behind the Wu Clan's domination over the Black Cosmos was because of their previous
leader. This has led them to become one of the top forces in the whole Blue Ocean Universe
Community.
It was not long ago that the army from the Beast City suddenly attacked the Black Cosmos.
Two premium-grade divine gods from the beast race united and defeated the old man which left the
latter terribly injured. He had not recovered well since then.
Therefore, this lost the Wu Clan their power to resist and defend themselves.
Fortunately, Austin appeared just in time.
"Gather all our men back as soon as possible!"
The old man named Enoch gave out an order after he had talked with Austin for a while.
Soon after, all the members of the Wu Clan, both living and hiding in the Black Cosmos, received the
message and rushed back to the Wu Star.
The main force of the beast race fled in panic because of Austin's immense fighting power.
Therefore, those who were alive made it back to the Wu Star quickly and faced no trouble.
Shepard's mother, elder brother, and younger sister all returned safely, too.
He couldn't help but gasp in joy as he saw them safe and sound.
He received his father's message about the invasion when he remained in the three thousand big and
small universes, and he instantly grew anxious. He could not help but worry about the safety of his
family and clansmen. It was only at this point that he was finally relieved.
"Everyone, come over there. Let me introduce my friend to you. This is Austin."
Shepard gestured towards his family to move closer as he introduced him to them.
"Leader Austin, you are young yet you are so powerful. You are really a good example for young
people,"
his mother nodded as she approached.
"Sister, Austin is not only powerful, but also generous, sincere, hardworking and notably friendly. Look
at him! He has all of that and he manages to be handsome as well. He is really worthy our
appreciation. Don't you think so?" Shepard opened his arms towards Austin in a dramatic way.
"Sister, when you are free, you should get to know him better. How does that sound?"
He pulled his sister and positioned her before Austin. Shepard continued to go on and praise him
without even catching his breath.
"Shepard! Don't, please."
Austin gritted his teeth and held a tight fist, trying to keep calm despite his annoyance. He was well
aware of Shepard's intentions as he spoke wonders to his sister.
It was no doubt Shepard wanted to pair the two up.
At the same time, Austin couldn't help but take a better look at Shepard's sister.
Indeed she was young and beautiful. Her face was delicate and cute while her eyes were filled with
purity. All of a sudden she turned around and blinked her eyes a few times as she looked back at
Austin.
"Brother, is he really as good as you said?"
the girl whispered towards Shepard as she scanned through Austin's features.
"Of course! I would never lie to you. I would only ever want what's best for you." Shepard nodded.
"Anyway, I don't want to waste my time telling you all of his achievements. You can find them out
yourself,"
he said as he winked at her.
"Well, to be honest, you have lied to me a handful of times,"
the girl said with a snicker.
All of a sudden, their mother joined in on the conversation.
"It's good for young people to get to know each other."
She seemed to like the idea of her daughter seeing Austin.
This was most probably because she knew of Austin's genius and thought quite highly of him. Her
daughter with a man of such power would be a great thing.
"Okay, I'll go ahead and try,"
the girl said. She walked towards Austin and reached for his left hand.
Austin was caught off guard. Out of instinct, he moved his hand away.
"Ahem! Sir, the situation is critical. The army of the beast race is coming towards the Black Cosmos at
full speed.
We'd better avoid this fight head-on,"
Austin said and nodded and just like that, his focus was elsewhere. He turned around towards Enoch.
"They are coming on aggressively. They are about to enter the Black Cosmos very soon,"
Enoch said and nodded with a saddened expression.
"Father, what should we do?"
Jean asked anxiously.
Although he was the present patriarch, more important matters of the clan were decided by his father,
the former patriarch.
"Leader Austin is right. The only choice left for us is to avoid them.
They are too strong! It will be impossible for our Wu Clan to put up a fight. We might as well be hitting
them with eggs while they throw stones at us.
Since the beast race has targeted us specifically, the only thing we can do is to avoid them.
Tell everyone to move out all the things in the ancestral land as soon as possible. Afterwards, we
leave."
Enoch spoke fluently and with ease.
As soon as he gave the order, the present members of the Wu Clan rushed from the ancestral land and

The entire Black Cosmos shook violently.
An echoing series of booming sounds stirred up the entire Black Cosmos.
The ground rumbled as the entire place grew shaky. It felt as if the mountains collapsed and a tsunami
hit. It felt as if hundreds of millions of volcanoes erupted at the same time.
Meanwhile, demonic aura erupted and fell on the Black Cosmos, spreading a heavy, dark cloud of
smoke.
"Damn it! The army of the beast race is already here!"
All the members of the Wu Clan grew pale and frantic.
They had already experienced the power of the beast race and it had traumatized many of them.
From past experience, they knew they could not defend themselves.
The gap between the strengths of the two sides was too big.
All of their gazes fell on Austin as they hoped for his solution.
They all recalled that not long ago, Austin single handedly defeated a large group of warriors from the
best race. On top of that, he even killed a premium-grade divine god.
They looked at him with pleading eyes. They hoped for Austin to be their savior.
"I'm so scared. There are so many monsters. You have to protect me!
And please also protect my parents, brothers, and all the other clansmen."
Shepard's sister was frightened. She rushed towards Austin and held his arm, trying to seek some
comfort from him.
