Since he couldn't wait to see the little infinity beast again, Austin immediately set off and entered the
Abyss of Darkness. It didn't take him long to get to its core area.

"Young man, I'm here. Have you been looking for me?" the figure asked.
It was an old man in a yellow robe enveloped in all kinds of laws of supreme enlightenment.

Sir, you look very familiar. I feel like I have seen you before. Do I know you from somewhere?"
Austin asked as he narrowed his eyes to take a closer at the yellow-robed elder.
"Ha-ha! Let me see.
When I released the six Millstones of Reincarnation way back, you were there with the eight supreme
leaders of the eight branches of pilgrims. Do you remember now?"
the old man in yellow robes said with a smile.
"Oh yeah.
That's where I met you! I remember now!"
Austin slapped his forehead as he recalled the moment he met the old man for the first time.
Before the Divine Being's World turned into a supreme one, Austin and the eight supreme leaders had
entered the core area of the Abyss of Darkness. They saw with their own eyes how a tall yellow-robed
figure was able to get the six millstones out of the Abyss of Darkness.
With his help, the six millstones floated above the six continents of the Six Worlds of Reincarnation.
That was where they had remained until now.
Austin's lips curled to a smile as he finally realized that the old man in front of him and that yellow-
robed figure were the same person.
"Sir, this is the second time that we have met! It looks like that we were destined to see each other
again, don't you think so?"
Austin was both delighted and surprised.
"Yes,
I agree with you,"
the old man responded with an amiable wink.
As he spoke, he began to perceive Austin with the aid of his spiritual sense.
"Wow, I can't believe that you are now in possession of the second pagoda of reincarnation.
Are you by any chance, the successor of Sousa?"
The old man was in utter surprise as his eyes widened at the discovery.
He then made a wave of his hand,
and the nine-storey pagoda emerged from Austin's body and landed in his palm.
"Aha! I was right! It really is the second pagoda of reincarnation," the yellow-robed elder exclaimed as
he inspected the pagoda which was now in his palm.
He looked as if he was lost in his memories.
"How is Sousa doing now?"
he asked, looking intently at Austin.
Austin gladly filled him in on how he ran into Sousa, telling the old man every bit of detail.
"I never expected that Sousa would be more seriously injured than me.
Are you saying that his soul has already integrated into this pagoda?"
he asked.
"Yes, that's right. He has indeed become one with the pagoda,"
Austin replied, nodding in confirmation.
At that time, he personally watched as Sousa's soul merged with the pagoda.
"I'm gonna meet him,"
the old man said abruptly.
Then without saying anything else, he threw the pagoda in the air.
The pagoda shot high up but it remained suspended in the air and just floated there.
In no time,
a pure form of reincarnation energy rushed out of his body,
and entered the pagoda with a blinding flash.
In turn, the pagoda began to glow brightly.
Soon after, it also began shaking.
It didn't take long before
a voice came from the pagoda.
"Ha-ha! Domino, what are you doing here, old chap? We have not seen each other in ages!"
Then, the figure that owned the new voice slowly emerged from the pagoda.
It was none other than Sousa himself.
'Domino?!'
Austin repeated inwardly, trying to memorize the name.
The yellow-robed elder seemed to be a god of reincarnation as well.
"You are right my friend;
it has indeed been a while.
I can't believe that many years have passed in just the blink of an eye,"
Domino said with a sigh.
"How have you been my friend?"
Sousa asked with real concern.
"Ha-ha! Well, I guess that my situation is better than yours.
I've been here all this time, and I see no reason to leave.
I have been keeping the reincarnation in the Six Worlds of Reincarnation in good order.
After all, this is the mission of our race. I don't have the luxury of letting it stop,"
Domino replied.
"Alas! We all were defeated and I'm sure none of us survived that battle.
I don't get it. We made sure that everything was working in its natural order. We were doing a good job
of keeping the worlds in balance.
But why would such a major disaster befall us?"
Sousa said, shaking his head in frustration.
"Well my good friend, it's all written in the stars.
Even gods of reincarnation like us can't change everything. Our powers may be vast but they still have
limits.
The mortals think that we control the reincarnation of all living beings in all worlds.
But even though we are gods of reincarnation, somehow we can't escape from mortality. Thus as such,
we have to accept our fate."
Domino gave him a few kind words.
"Well, you are absolutely right and I agree with you.
Never mind the other irrelevant issues.
We might never be able to figure out those complicated things.
Now my only hope is for the road of reincarnation to reopen one day so that the old glory of our race
shall be restored,"
Sousa said, accepting his fate.
"One day, everything that we wish for shall be granted.
In the past few years, I have been predicting the future of our race and found that we are getting our
luck back, slowly but surely.
I have a very strong hunch that one day, our reincarnation race will truly return,
and the road of reincarnation shall be reopened,"
Domino encouraged.
"I hope you are right.
Because that would be awesome.
I have been badly injured.
I'm too weak to deduce or get many things done myself anymore,"
Sousa gushed, sounding a bit tired yet excited.
"I understand what you are going through. Besides, why would lie to you about this?
Don't worry. I strongly believe that our race will reemerge and will be great again in the near future,"
Domino said with total conviction.
"Thanks, and I believe you. I am now very confident about the future of our race.
There is only a little energy left inside my broken soul. That is the reason why I can't leave the pagoda
for too long.
I have to go back and get some rest,"
Sousa said, slightly annoyed at his own condition.
"Austin, you are the successor of the reincarnation race. You have to work hard to help our race get
back to power again. We are counting on you,"
he continued, as he rested his eyes on the young man.
"Rest assured, sir. I shall definitely spare no effort in helping the reincarnation race with its return to the
top,"
Austin replied with serious determination on his face.
"Good. That's what I want to hear."
Sousa nodded. He was very satisfied with Austin's reply.
Without another word, Sousa then transformed back into a wisp of white light and flew back into the
pagoda.
"Austin, follow me. This way,"
Domino said to the young man.
Then the man made his way towards a place in the core area of the Abyss of Darkness with Austin in
tow.
After a while,
Domino suddenly stopped in his tracks as if facing something unseen.
When he waved his hand,
a doorway slowly appeared, suspended in the void.
Austin could immediately tell that it was the entrance to a small world.
"Austin, let's go inside,"
Domino said.
He got through the portal together with the young lad.
As soon as Austin set foot in it,
he was surprised to find that the small world's level, despite its size, was even higher than that of a
supreme world.
He also noticed that there were many creatures living here.
All creatures, whether young or old cultivated the law of reincarnation.
Austin immediately released his spiritual sense to perceive this new world where he had just set foot,
and once again, he spotted another familiar figure.
This time, it was none other than the little infinity beast.
"Didn't you say that you wanted to see your friend?
Why don't you go and get him first?
I'll catch up with you later,"
Domino said to Austin.
"Okay, great!
