The cultivator skilled in mind power used the over a thousand Time and Space Arrays in an attempt to
escape the continent quickly. But then, a man in white suddenly appeared in front of him. He waved his
hand and conjured hundreds of arrays that enveloped the cultivator.
"Do you think no one has taken notice of you and your men setting up these arrays over the past year?
I'm afraid I'm much better than you at setting up arrays. I was aware of yours the moment you set them
up.
You should know, I've tampered with your arrays. Now that you've fallen into my trap, your escape is
impossible.
You only have one choice left to you. Give me the Magical Polarity Token and I will let you go. If not, do
not blame me for what comes next,"
said the man in white, a maliciousness in his voice that went right to one's core.
It was as he said; he knew exactly how the cultivator and his subordinates had set up these arrays and
had messed with them in secret.
He had set up hundreds of various kinds of arrays on the cultivator's escape route, waiting for him to
spring his trap.
"Damn you!"
The cultivator's face was awash with both shock and anger when he discovered he was surrounded by
so many dreadful arrays to counter him.
He and his subordinates had spent the last year setting up so many Time and Space Arrays that he
had planned to use in his escape the moment he got hold of the Magical Polarity Token.
But he had not expected to be ambushed by an array master on the way.
"Well then, what is your decision?
Remember, you cannot escape. You'd better give me the Magical Polarity Token or when those in
pursuit of you catch up, you're going to come to a miserable end," said the man in white threateningly,
staring at the cultivator with a relaxed and terrifyingly playful glint in his eyes.
This was a sick game to him and he was enjoying it.
The color drained from the cultivator's face as he saw the governing gods getting closer and closer.
He knew they would not hold back and attack him viciously once they got to him. He might not be able
to survive that, let alone keep the Magical Polarity Token through it.
He knew he had no choice.
"I'll give you the Magical Polarity Token, but I will not let you off easily. This isn't the end!"
the cultivator barked back coldly.
"Whatever. Now hurry up and give it to me,"
sneered the white robed man.
With a face of gloomy dejection, the cultivator tossed the Magical Polarity Token to him.
He was unhappy, but it was the only thing he could do right now.
"Mark my words, I will not let you get away with this!"
the cultivator growled, gnashing his teeth in a red hot rage.
Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast stood calmly, looking on at their exchange from off in the
distance.
Neither of them had any involvement in this fierce battle. Instead, they had been standing aside,
watching the situation develop closely.
Austin saw the man in white holding the Magical Polarity Token in his hand and an idea suddenly came
to him.
"This is our chance,"
he said firmly.
"Indeed, it seems it is," agreed the chaotic sky-devouring beast.
He understood clearly what was on Austin's mind.
"Let's not waste any time. Let's get ahead of him.
I've already figured out how he's going to escape!"
Austin took a quick glance at the man in white and charged off beside the chaotic sky-devouring beast.
He exerted the law of reincarnation to its extreme and a path much larger than before appeared under
his feet.
He'd already worked out the man's escape route so it didn't matter where the man was now. They both
burst forward desperately to cut the man's escape off.
At the same time, Austin set up many massive magic arrays as well as concealment arrays to hide
himself and the chaotic sky-devouring beast.
The path they were taking would have already hidden them pretty well, but with the addition of the
magic arrays and the concealment arrays, they had completely vanished, leaving behind only a very
slight, imperceptible wave of reincarnation energy.
In the blink of an eye, they had reached the edge of the continent.
"We'll wait here. This is where he'll be escaping from,"
Austin said confidently.
He then used the array energy and instantly conjured more than a hundred large magic arrays and
concealment arrays to surround them and the area around.
His array skill was stronger than the man in white's, so deducing his escape route was fairly easy for
him.
The man in white was a master specialized in cultivating the array energy, so Austin knew his strength
and methods very well.
In fact, he had gotten the first piece of Magical Polarity Token from this very man. He hadn't expected
the second to fall into his hands too.
Austin might not have been as confident if he had to deal with the other governing gods, but he was
quite sure he could take down the man in white, seeing as he possessed a higher-level array skill.
"This poor guy. Everything will eventually be conquered by something else. Seems he's been
unfortunate enough to have you as his nemesis,"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast sighed with a slight smile.
"Stop, don't get distracted. He's on his way,"
Austin said coolly, cutting him off.
The man in white, with the help of a large number of arrays that he had set up in advance, rushed
towards Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast at an astonishing speed.
He darted towards them, an enormous mob of governing gods in tow.
He had set up many arrays all across the continent over the last year and he was using them to assist
in his escape now.
Some launched attacks to block off his pursuers, some covered his tracks as he ran ahead, while
others were specially designed to increase his speed.
This was more than enough to slow down those trying to catch up to him. They would not be getting a
hold of him anytime soon.
In a flash, the man in white had escaped, only to land in front of Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring
beast.
They had been well prepared and were waiting patiently.
