'Although I can forcefully break these blade arrays from the outside,

it would take a lot time and energy since I'd have to break them one by one.

I have to think of a faster way to penetrate these arrays,' Austin thought to himself.

He initially thought that conquering the Blade Cosmos would be a child's play since he had more than

three hundred reincarnation slaves in his arsenal.

However, now that they were actually on the battlefield, they had encountered unforeseen situations.

'Okay, Austin. Think,' he thought to himself. 'There are only two ways to quickly break the arrays. First,

find out the flaws of these blade arrays, and once I do, I will be able to break them in one blow.

The second option is to destroy the blade arrays from the inside.

However, these blade arrays were probably created by a god of chaos. Therefore, they are almost

immaculate and impenetrable.

It looks like I'll have to try the second method―I'll have to destroy them from the inside.

However, since I haven't mastered the World-slashing Swordsmanship, my sword is not invincible, and

it is not powerful enough to break through those arrays.

Hmm, what method should I use, then?'

Austin thought long and hard of avenues to break the arrays.

Then, suddenly,

an idea flitted through his mind.

'That's it! I can try to break the arrays with my mind power!

It can infiltrate the blade array easily.

Plus, it would be very swift. Once I use it, I can quickly break them!

The only question is if my current mind power is strong enough to destroy them.

After all, a blade array is as powerful as a governing god,

which means my mind power should be good enough to wipe out a governing god to do this.

It looks like I have to find one so I can give it a try,' Austin figured.

"Well, here goes nothing," he murmured to himself.

Then, using his spiritual sense, he immediately locked one of the blade arrays―the one in the front

where the two opposing forces confronted each other.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

His mind power bore through the blade array continuously, and immediately attacked the blade

cultivators.

They all writhed in the mysterious pain that shrouded them. They didn't know where it came from, all

they felt was agonizing torment.

"Ahhh!"

Miserable screams could be heard inside the blade array.

The mind swords penetrated inside their system―violent and sharp―smashing their bodies brutally.

The blade cultivators cried nonstop.

"The enemies are attacking us!"

They warned their companions about the attacks.

"We must do something about this! Let's unite and fight against them!"

The blade cultivators were not about to go down without a fight. They were persistent and they did

everything in their power to resist the invisible daggers inside their bodies.

To Austin's surprise, these blade cultivators were connected by some special laws related to their vital

energy and auras.

Even their flesh, vitality, and original life essence were weaved together as if they were one big puzzle

piece.

If one blade cultivator's body was damaged, other blade cultivators nearby would transfer their own

vitality, original life essence, and even flesh to help and share!

Destroying one blade cultivator would be useless since his companions would immediately surround

him to replenish him at once.

"Amazing! The array created by a god of chaos is well-thought of!"

Austin couldn't help but commend the intricate details on the array.

Even with his mind power, Austin was certain that it would take him a long time to infiltrate it.

It would take the same effort as invading the blade arrays from the outside.

As Austin was thinking of other ways of breaking these arrays,

he suddenly sensed something tremendous.

A dangerous aura was looming in the atmosphere.

Boom!

The next moment,

the space started to violently quake, as if something huge and ominous was coming its way.

A powerful and brilliant blade light materialized out of the blue. Then, to everyone's surprise, it came at

Austin!

Everything happened so fast that Austin did not have the time to react or retaliate. He was absolutely

taken by surprise.

Aside from its lightning speed and blinding light, the energy it contained was very potent. Even a

governing god would not be able to withstand its force―he would be instantly destroyed.

Of course, Austin knew who was responsible for these fierce and decisive attacks. It had to be none

other than Donovan.

As he took the tremendous damage,

Austin's figure suddenly became illusory and unstable, as if he had turned into a wisp of smoke.

His body released various profound laws, affecting the space and time surrounding him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The thick blade light slid through Austin's body, leaving a gaping hole in the space behind him.

His spiritual sense immediately traced the trajectory of the blade light.

What he found on the other end of the Blade Cosmos was a middle-aged man, powerful in his stature.

His hair moved with the wind, somehow making him seem more authoritative than his aura had already

suggested.

His eyes bore through Austin―both dangerous and menacing.

Based on the aura the man exuded, Austin was certain that he must be the legendary supreme

grandmaster. Finally, he met the fabled Donovan.

Austin regarded him from head to toe.

Fiery red flames enveloped his body.

The fire exuded a masterful aura. Austin knew that the flame was actually condensed from very strong

blade laws, which was equivalent to a thick layer of armor covering Donovan's body.

From Austin's estimation, this armor alone was enough for Donovan to be impervious to a regular

governing god's attacks.

'This Donovan guy is indeed worthy of his reputation.

He really is as powerful as they say he is,'

Austin smirked.

While Austin thoroughly observed Donovan's aura and stature, the latter also did the same to his

enemy. Donovan smiled smugly.

"You have some nerve showing up here with your battalion, you brat!"

Donovan bellowed, his gaze fixed upon Austin. It was cold and condescending.

"Really?" Austin spat back. "I don't think it takes much guts to show myself around here.

There's nothing special about the Blade Cosmos, after all. This one is just as ordinary as any other

universe I've seen.

What's there to be afraid of? It looks like I can come and go whenever I want."

Austin matched the intensity of Donovan's glare. He wanted his enemy to know that he was not going

to be disturbed by his petty threats.

"I am Donovan, the supreme grandmaster of the Blade Cosmos, but it looks like you have already

heard of me. You know who I am, and yet you still have the audacity to address me rudely. You must

think you're special, don't you?"

Donovan sneered.

"If you think you can match my power, you are wrong.

But since I'm feeling a little merciful, I'll give you a chance. Surrender to me right now and vow to serve

me.

Then I'll give you great power and guarantee your glory and prestige in many supreme universes,"

Donovan offered, smiling like a wolf waiting for his prey to bait his present.

"Ha-ha, you must be crazy.

Thank you for your kindness, though.

But I don't think you are qualified to be my master.

How about this way, then?

Since I'm more powerful than you are, why don't you be my slave and pledge your loyalty to me?

I can also promise you glory!"

Austin laughed mockingly.
