Warner and Emmet quickly rushed to Austin's side. He was locked in a brutal fight against the
governing gods of the Blade Cosmos.
"I'd like to see you try," one of the governing gods of the Blade Cosmos challenged cockily. "I'll fight you
all to the death!"
Fire enveloped his body, and he sped towards Warner and Emmet.
"Watch out! He might go on a rampage!"
Austin warned in between sword strikes.
"You don't have to worry about us, master. We can handle this ourselves!"
Warner and Emmet enthusiastically answered.
As the fight continued, the dynamic between them started to feel like a rehearsed routine. The power
they unleashed was synergistic, making them exponentially stronger.
Although the governing god of the Blade Cosmos had burned his divine blood to stimulate his potential,
it still was not enough―the united force of Warner and Emmet was too intense.
"Let's join in!"
The governing gods from the three other sects were initially hesitant. But when they saw Emmet and
Warner attack, they rushed towards the opponents at rocket speed. The fight was vicious.
As the battle progressed, the Blade Cosmos' army found it harder to maintain its strength.
The governing gods of the Sword Cosmos, on the other hand, were still in good shape.
In the blink of an eye, Austin had already caught and sealed the majority of the Blade Cosmos army's
spiritual souls.
Only a handful of Blade Cosmos' governing gods were struggling to hold on.
"We can't fall into that guy's hands!
I'd rather die than be his slave! Let's disintegrate ourselves,"
one of the governing gods of the Blade Cosmos defiantly screamed.
"Okay!"
His companions agreed.
They were desperate, injured, and cornered. At this point, they would do anything just to escape their
captor's grasp.
"Just wait and see, you fucking brat! We will avenge our sect's honor someday!"
one of the surviving governing gods cursed. They all glared at Austin.
Then,
puff! Puff!
The bodies and spiritual souls of the governing gods of the Blade Cosmos turned into a mist of blood,
covering the sky a sea of red.
Then, it dissipated in the wind.
"You cannot escape me!"
Using his omnipotent skill of space and time, Austin blocked the entire area.
Everything in the space froze like a picture.
"They have escaped!"
Austin closely inspected the area and found nothing.
He scanned the surroundings using his spiritual sense—they were gone. They had left without a trace.
Of course, Austin knew that they had used a ruthless disintegration skill to make it work.
They exploded their own flesh and spiritual souls into pieces and weaved themselves into the law of
nature.
They took a great risk. Before they performed the disintegration skill, they had already sustained
tremendous damage. At this rate, it would be almost impossible for them to return to their peak state.
Apart from it, their cultivation might be slowly declining, and their strength would gradually become
weaker.
Even though they managed to escape Austin's clutches, it still did not guarantee their survival since it

annihilated.
Half of the governing gods the Blade Cosmos sent were under Austin's control.
The rest had hidden using the disintegration skill.
"The invaders have been eliminated!"
"We have retrieved our homeland!"
The entire Sword Cosmos cheered.
"We won, master! We have taken back the Sword Cosmos!
I've avenged you!"
"Sect leader, those bastards from the Blade Cosmos have been executed. You can rest in peace now!"
"My friend,
I have good news for you. The bastards from the Blade Cosmos who occupied our homeland have
finally paid a heavy price today!"
"Father, I killed thousands of guys from the Blade Cosmos today to avenge you!"
It was a heartwarming sight. Numerous creatures in the void were bawling their eyes out, comforting
the souls of their beloved ones who had been killed during the invasion of the army of the Blade
Cosmos. For a long time, they had endured the tyranny of the Blade Cosmos. Finally, they felt freedom.
"Let's go back to our homes!"
"We will rebuild our homes from the ground up!"
The creatures of the Sword Cosmos happily went to the territory that was once occupied by the Blade
Cosmos army.
Before they overthrew their oppressors, half the Sword Cosmos' territory was controlled by the Blade
Cosmos.
Now that their enemies had been destroyed, the creatures that used to live there began to set off and
go back to their homeland, more than enthusiastic to rebuild their homes.
"Master, we finally drove away the army of the Blade Cosmos."
Warner and Emmet approached Austin and shared the joyful news.
"Yes."
Austin nodded, satisfied with the result of the battle.
The Sword Cosmos could finally call their place their own―it was completely theirs.
"We may have won, but there are still more than ten governing gods hiding somewhere in the Sword
Cosmos. You must be careful in the future and don't let them cause any trouble,"
Austin advised.
"Rest assured, master. We will do everything in our power to keep this place safe.
After they used the disintegration skill, their strength plummeted.
Moreover, they would become weaker day by day. They're hardly a threat anymore.
Even if they were in their peak state, we wouldn't be afraid.
They are in a terribly bad state, stalking around this place like ghosts. That makes things a lot easier,"
Warner proudly said.
As they were talking, Austin suddenly glared coldly, his gaze fixed somewhere in the void.
"Are you done eavesdropping?" he spat icily.
"Huh? What's the matter, master?"
Both Warner and Emmet were shocked and looked over, following Austin's gaze, but to no avail. They
did not find anything.
"Fortunately for you, you decided not to make a move.
Otherwise, the entire Sky Sword Sect will suffer the same fate as the Blade Cosmos' army,"
Austin scoffed. His sharp eyes were like two heavenly swords tearing the void apart.
"What? The Sky Sword Sect is here!"
Warner and Emmet exclaimed in unison. They quickly turned their heads to see where they were
hiding.
Three of the four super forces in the Sword Cosmos chose to yield to Austin.
The Sky Sword Sect, however, chose to hide and disappear.
"Master, were they here the whole time watching us?"
Emmet couldn't help but ask.
"Yes. Yes, they were.
They had been hiding there ever since the battle began.
They were waiting for an opportune moment to attack me while we were busy," Austin explained. Then,
he sneered and gave a cocky smile.
"But they haven't got a chance yet,"
he added.
"Humph!
These people have no backbone! Master, you led the people of the Sword Cosmos to fight against
external enemies and retrieve the lost land. Despite that, they actually want to take the opportunity to
attack you!
Why don't we destroy the Sky Sword Sect as well, master?"
Warner was livid.
He and Emmet were enraged at what was going on. For them, the warriors from the Sky Sword Sect
were just cowards who were taking advantage of a dire situation. They were ready to take action and
fight.
"They have left.
Just wait and see. We will encounter them soon enough.
Since the external enemies have been taken care of,
it will be their turn next.
If any one of the four super forces makes trouble, I will deal with them myself,"
Austin threatened.
The reason why Austin didn't destroy the four super forces back then was that he still had the Blade
Cosmos, his biggest enemy, to deal with.
If he took care of the four super forces first, it would damage the Sword Cosmos' strength.
It would also make all the creatures in the Sword Cosmos depressed.
If that happened, they wouldn't have the will to fight against the Blade Cosmos' army.

Eventually, numerous Sword Cosmos masters crowded around Austin and gave him a respectful
salute.
