Every divine god had heard every word Austin had said loud and clear.
An overwhelming sense of pleasure and relief rushed through them at the implications.
"I assure you that every word I said was true. I meant what I said,"
Austin added.
"Austin, I trust you. I know you wouldn't lie to us."
"Yes, I know what type of person Austin is. He has always been a man of his word and never lied to
anyone. If he says Humphrey was seriously injured and left the Sea of Chaos, it must be true."
"It means that the Sea of Chaos is no longer under Humphrey's control. We don't have to listen to him
anymore!"
Gradually, a fervent thrill ran through the Sea of Chaos like tidal waves. The divine gods discussed and
spread the news with great excitement.
Seized by wild ecstasy, the divine gods began to celebrate.
"That's great.
Humphrey has finally been defeated! That old bastard had ruled the Sea of Chaos for a long time.
We are finally free! The Sea of Chaos is free!"
"That damned Humphrey!
He'd tortured us for too long. The Sea of Chaos was a hell under his control. Everyone suffered under
his rule. It's a relief to finally get rid of him and his ruthlessness!"
Yells of wild joy filled the air. Thunderous sounds of revelry rang out in every corner of the Sea of
Chaos. An extremely joyful atmosphere bathed the entire Sea of Chaos.
Austin knew how these creatures felt, so he just stood and watched quietly in the void. He had no
intention of disturbing them.
Half a day later, dozens of divine gods suddenly appeared from the distance. They were all rushing
toward Austin.
"Mr. Austin, the Firmament Cosmos would like to acknowledge you as our leader from this moment on."
Austin was stunned to hear those words. Looking around, he saw many divine gods from other
cosmoses of the Sea of Chaos rush over toward him.
"Mr. Austin, everyone in the Violet Cosmos will be honored to follow you from now on!"
"The Genuine Spirit Cosmos would also be happy to serve you, Mr. Austin!"
As time went by, more and more divine gods approached Austin from every corner of the Sea of
Chaos. They gathered in front of Austin, expressing the same idea.
Instead of giving his immediate consent, Austin just stood there quietly. He slowly glanced across the
crowd of divine gods from the Sea of Chaos.
It wasn't until a half day later that Austin finally spoke.
"I know what you are all thinking.
But please calm down. From now on, all the forces in the Sea of Chaos won't have to submit to
anyone. Every one of you is free.
The Sea of Chaos doesn't need a ruler anymore. I hope that all the worlds and all the universes within
it can grow as freely as they wish.
So you don't have to regard me as your leader, and I won't attack you for no reason.
Throughout the years, the Sea of Chaos had been regressing. Any further disaster would mean its
complete collapse. A free environment is very necessary for it and everybody to develop on more solid
ground.
So, you should all go back. It's time for you to rebuild the Sea of Chaos now,"
Austin exclaimed.
After he was done, Austin waved his hand to give a signal for the crowd of the three thousand big and
small universes to leave. Under his leadership, they all swarmed back to the three thousand big and
small universes.
In the chaotic void, a massive number of divine gods stood in their place, watching as Austin receded
with his army.
All the divine gods appeared reverent.
"Austin is very unlike Humphrey. From now on, the Sea of Chaos will enter a new era, in which freedom
and prosperity reign,"
an elderly divine god said in a measured tone.
"Although Mr. Austin doesn't want to rule the Sea of Chaos in Humphrey's stead, he will definitely be
our guarding god from now on."
"Yes, Mr. Austin doesn't need our servitude.
But we cannot betray him. All the cosmoses in the Sea of Chaos should pledge our loyalty to him and
obey all his orders from this moment on.
We need to entrust him with the safety of the Sea of Chaos. Our peace is dependent on his protection."
"Yes. If it weren't for Mr. Austin, we would have still been Humphrey's slaves."
"Indeed!"
"That's true!"
All the divine gods in the chaotic void nodded in agreement.
"It's time to go back now.
We must abide by Mr. Austin's order and start rebuilding the Sea of Chaos."
Then all the divine gods dispersed, returning to their own universes.
By this time, Austin and his people had already returned to the original location of the three thousand
big and small universes.
Barren space went as far as the eye could see. It was desolate, full of broken universes floating in the
chaotic void.
The energies and laws here were incomplete and deficient.
Everyone was heartbroken at the sight.
Tears streamed down from the eyes of some elderly divine gods. Most of them wondered if it would
even be possible to rebuild the three thousand big and small universes after everything had been
reduced to such a miserable state.
"Everybody, I understand how you feel right now. Although everything looks broken right now, most of
the creatures have survived the disaster. As long as we are still alive, there is hope for us. We can
rebuild everything else. Our survival is the most precious thing now!"
Austin shouted for all to hear.
"Yes, you are right. At least we are still alive!"
"This is the most important thing. There's definitely hope that we will rebuild it all!"
Everyone's eyes lit up at Austin's inspiring words. Hope would live on as long as they were alive.
"From now on, all the divine gods should work together to repair the energies and laws in this space.
Don't worry. I will provide all the resources needed to rebuild this universe community!
What you need to do is use your own dominant forces and power to fix and replenish the energies and
laws in this space. Be patient. We can make progress as long as we join hands together,"
Austin said, working on encouraging them.
Every divine god possessed the ability to fix the space to some extent. As long as there were enough
divine gods to repair the space, Austin believed that the three thousand big and small universes would
recover.
"Have you forgotten me, lad?"
A huge divine tree rushed out of the void and said to Austin all of a sudden.
"You are the chaotic world tree?!
You've grown so large!"
Austin felt both surprise and pleasure, seeing the tree again. It didn't take him long to recognize it.
He hadn't seen it since he'd brought it back to the Fallen Divine Valley.
Back then, Austin had brought the creatures of the three thousand big and small universes to the
Fallen Divine Valley. The chaotic world tree had also followed Austin into the valley and spent some
time there.
Later, Austin never saw this tree in the Fallen Divine Valley again. He had looked for it several times
back then.
But he'd failed to find out its whereabouts.
Even asking his statue master for information had led to no avail. But all the statue master knew was
that it had already left the Fallen Divine Valley.
After leaving the Sea of Chaos, the chaotic world tree had entered the Absolute Space Sea, not that far
from the Sea of Chaos.
But now, to Austin's surprise, it had appeared again.
"Where have you been all these years?"
Austin asked it, curiously.
"I've been wandering about for a while. It's so boring to stay in this space sea.
So, I left and went on an adventure,"
the chaotic world tree replied.
