Why is it so scary all of a sudden?
Why does he become so deep?
Does he sense anything wrong or know the truth already? Or does he want to know something from
me?
Jennifer became nervous, and Bryson said slowly, “Gloria…”
Jennifer’s heart thumped when she heard this!
As she held her breath and pricked up her ears, Bryson suddenly stopped talking
Jennifer looked at him with a puzzled look. “What’s wrong?”

her… This is really hard for me. Maybe you’ll experience this one day. I hope you find happiness with
someone else.”
Jennifer’s cyes twitched. What does he mean? Does he know I adore him?
Is he giving me a broad hint that I should give up?
Jennifer’s heart was beating very hard, which reminded her to say it aloud!

She was tortured by the complicated feelings.
After a while, Bryson chuckled.
“I think you understand very well how I feel since you have a crush on someone. You don’t have a
boyfriend, so I guess…”
Bryson did not finish his sentence, but the meaning was quite clear.
Jennifer gave a bitter smile. “Yeah….”
How could she not understand? Maybe she did better than Bryson.
Or maybe Bryson didn’t understand her.
Jennifer dropped her eyes and suddenly was in no mood to talk.

After a pause, she whispered, “Bryson, I think I know more about what you’re going through than you
do.”
Bryson’s eyes flashed, and he looked up at her.
Jennifer held her hand over her heart and said in a trembling voice, “It aches a lot. It’s like I can’t
breathe for the next second, and it keeps thumping, Sometimes I wish I could die right away so that it
might not hurt anymore. But I don’t want to.”
Bryson’s face changed slightly, but he didn’t say anything. What Jennifer was talking about was really
something he had experienced before.
Jennifer couldn’t help but draw a deep breath, her eyes burning. “Because I want to see him all the
time. I feel more miserable than you do. Do you know why?”
