Claude looked confused. “What are you talking about?”
Martha had never told Claude about the mystery person because she didn’t want him to get involved

be hiding in a mental hospital. Do you want her to stay there all the time?”
Claude’s frown deepened. “But have you checked on him? Is he trustworthy? Why did you not talk to
me about such a serious matter?”
Hearing this, Martha laughed angrily, “Why didn’t we talk to you? At that time, all you wanted to do was
bring down the Collins Group. When did you ever think about us? You only cared about your own
interests. And now you’re one to question us in this loud voice?”
Angela sneered disappointedly.
Claude fell silent. He had nothing to say.

Angela didn’t know what to do.
Martha looked at Angela and said soothingly, “We’re not at the end of our tether yet. Let’s play it by ear

Gloria and Nydia just finished dinner, and Nydia was done cleaning up. Nydia was sitting cozily in the
chair next to Gloria’s bed, with her legs crossed. “I’m full and feel so good. I wish I could have it every
day.”

family of three wearing the same clothing and going out shopping. It made me feel so good. I want to
be like them!” cried Nydia excitedly with an expectant look on her face.
Gloria was surprised. Nydia has changed her mind so quickly. Just two days ago, she told me that she
would be single forever because men were unreliable. And she wanted to adopt a baby.
But now she wants to start a family.
Gloria shook her head and said nothing.
Nydia swiped her phone and then stopped to see Gloria’s smile lingering on her lips. She wondered,
“You seem in a good mood. What makes you so happy?”
Gloria smiled and told Nydia about the phone call with Angela. Then she added, “I guess they were
fighting. Angela must be in a bad mood.”
Nydia was shocked. “Holy cow! Where did Claude get the nerve to unlock the Collins Group’s secrets?”
