“Harold, close the door and unleash the dogs!”
Gloria turned to Harold and gave him the order. The man at the door had his face turn livid.
After a moment of hesitation, he picked up the scattered things on the ground.
But after he presented those rejected gifts to Mr. Goddard, a loud thump startled him!
Mr. Goddard threw them into the trash can. He was on the verge of losing his temper.
The man’s face twitched and his body shivered uncontrollably out of fear. He chanted in his heart, “I am
doomed!”

Mr. Goddard kicked him down to the ground and stamped him heavily on his shin, snapping, “Loser!
How dare you bring them back to me. You’ve shamed me
The man shook his head in horror and explained, “Mr. Goddard… No, it’s not like that. It’s her…”

The man was silenced.
He wondered whether he should take it back, but he didn’t dare throw it away. What if Mr. Goddard
wanted it back?
He had no idea what to do then.

In the hotel room, Jordy was just filled in on what happened. He frowned sulkily and asked, “You just let
him go like that?”
Gloria felt somewhat speechless.
She gave Jordy a contemptuous look.
Without bothering to say another word to Jordy, she got up and went back to her room.
Jordy and Harold were the only ones left in the living room.
Harold scratched the tip of his nose, and while he was wondering whether to leave, Jordy suddenly
said in a cold voice, “Go ask Zack who they worked for.”
He narrowed his eyes and thought of how to deal with whoever was behind this. They must get
prepared for the consequences since they dare come for trouble?
Zack and the other men had sworn their loyalty to Jordy and Gloria, so they would surely not hold
things back from them.
