You Don’t Deserve Me
For an instant, Jordy’s face turned puce with rage.
Gloria pointed at the door. Jordy suddenly grasped her hand, glowered at her, and snarled, “Gloria, do
you have a heart?”
Hearing this, Gloria laughed angrily.
Jordy had asked her that a hundred times!

words rushed out in a torrent.
“I wish I were heartless. I wouldn’t have had the worst three years of my life waiting for you to come
back to me! I wouldn’t have put up with you flirting around. I must have been crazy. I loved you so
much! I tried so hard just to be with you!”
Jordy held her gaze steadily and pursed his lips, but suddenly he didn’t know what to say.
However, Gloria continued shouting as loudly as she could, “I really thought if I tried harder, you would
be into me, and we would have a happy ending. Before that incident happened, I felt you treated me
differently. You came to me very often. But after that, you thought I was calculating and suddenly hated
me. I was a victim too. I explained it to you a hundred times. Did you ever trust me once?”
Jordy frowned. She had told him many times that she was a victim, but he never believed a word of it.
Jordy was mute. Gloria’s eyes flashed as she laughed sarcastically, “See, you still don’t believe me.
What’s the point of this conversation? Jordy, you ask me again and again, but you don’t believe me.
Don’t you think it’s ridiculous?”
Jordy stared at Gloria but said nothing, his lips pressed together.
Gloria gave a mocking smile. “We’re not meant to be together. Just like you said before, I didn’t
deserve to be your wife. You derided me and disdained me. You thought I forced you into marriage. I’ve
already set you free, but why are you here for me? Are you insane? Don’t you think you look so bad
here?”
Jordy’s face was as gloomy as a thunderstorm, but Gloria was not afraid at all. She gazed at him and
said sarcastically, “You are trying to get back the person you once despised the most. Are your
interests so important that you can be so shameless? You earn much more money than what I can get
you! You’re already wealthy, aren’t you?”
“Jordy, wake up! You said you deserved much better than me, but now you’re not good enough for me!
You don’t deserve my loyalty!”
