resign and get her pay. I didn’t expect her to make a scene in the office. This is my responsibility, and

The manager looked remorseful, “I’m responsible for the bad influence. I’m willing to bear any
consequences.”
He was full of guilt.
The blood drained from Freda’s face.
She turned to Jordy and stated, “Mr. Collins, he twisted the facts and allowed private feelings to
outweigh public duties. I handled things in accordance with the guidelines, but he asked me to resign. I
don’t think he’s qualified to be the manager of the personnel department.”
Gloria wrinkled her brows.
She was getting bored of this.
She turned to Jordy and asked in a calm voice, “Mr. Collins, what do you think we should deal with the
matter?”

Freda tried to speak again but feared that it would annoy the man. She was on tenterhooks.
Jordy ran his eyes over the crowd and said, “Gloria is appointed by me. Her words are my words. Does
