Why Did That Guy Pick My Flowers?
“I planted those roses myself! That brat ruined my effort!”
Joseph was going mad.
Karen said in surprise, “You planted those roses by yourself?”
Why didn’t she know that?
Joseph said, gnashing his teeth, “Of course. Why would I lie to you? What’s the point of doing that?”
Karen was more surprised.
“When did you plant them? Why didn’t I know it?”
Joseph looked so sullen, but he didn’t want to answer Karen’s question. He said angrily, “Why did that
bastard pick my flowers?”
Those flowers were planted with great care, and they had a meaning.
He planned to pick some roses on Valentine’s Day and the rest of the roses would form a romantic
shape and represent lucky numbers. It could be a huge surprise, but Jordy ruined it. How could he not
be angry?
Karen didn’t want to respond to Joseph, but asked, “When did you plant these roses? I didn’t know it at
all.”
“Of course you didn’t know.”
This was the surprise he prepared for her. He didn’t tell anyone but sent everyone away when he
planted them. No one knew that he planted the roses himself! But… They were all ruined!
“What the hell was Jordy doing? Why did he pick my flowers?”
Karen was a little surprised. Her husband actually did such a romantic thing? She was moved and
couldn’t help gazing at him.
“Were you going to give me a surprise? You let me know it. It’s already a surprise!”
“Oh, come on, it’s different!” Joseph flushed and said very awkwardly.
He didn’t want to admit it, but he was angry.
Karen immediately walked to him with a smile. She took his arm, and comforted him, “It’s our grandson
who picked those flowers. Let’s go inside to talk about this. Just calm down. Romance is not for old
couples like us.”
Our grandson’s happiness is more important. Karen didn’t say this, because she knew that Joseph
didn’t like Gloria.
“Then why did he pick my flowers?” Joseph really didn’t know why.
Karen looked grave. It would be disclosed sooner or later, and Joseph would know it. Since he had
asked it several times, she should tell him the truth directly.
After hesitating for a moment, she whispered, “Because our grandson is already in love with someone.”
When Joseph heard that, he was suddenly refreshed and said with expectation, “Who? The girl of the
Roberts family?”
At this moment, Joseph’s eyes seemed to have lit up, as if implying that if Jordy picked the roses for
Rachel, he could forgive him.
But Karen’s frown deepened at this, and she no longer felt touched.
“Why are you always thinking about Rachel?” She sounded displeased.

flowers?”
