"Mommy, what's wrong?"

Seeing them like this, Zoe couldn't help but ask. Joseph also looked at them worriedly.

Nicole and Samuel quickly conceal their emotions. Nicole whispered, "Nothing. You go take a shower

and come down to dinner. Daddy and I are gonna answer a call."

"Alright."

Zoe and Joseph went upstairs.

Mark looked at them and whispered, "Are you guys in trouble?"

"Yes, a little. We've already told Uncle Jason. Thank you, and don't worry, Uncle Mark."

Nicole laughed, hurriedly picked up the phone and walked outside.

Samuel also frowned and looked worried.

Only then did Mark remember what Samuel had asked him when he came back.

"What's going on?"

"Something happened to a friend, a friend of Nicole. It's a bit tricky."

Samuel whispered.

If possible, he didn't want to have the Don family involved, but those he was faced with were so

powerful that he even couldn't find out who they were. It was somewhat frustrated.

Hearing that it was about a friend of Nicole's, Mark immediately stood up.

"What happened? Tell me. Maybe I can help."

"You know what? Why don't you stay and cook for us? You are just right in time." Nicole said jokingly.

What he said made Mark want to punch him.

Cooking for them? Come on!

He asked a Colonel like him to cook for them?

Although Mark wore an angry face when he headed to the kitchen, he was willing to cook for the kids.

Samuel then quickly went outside to find Nicole.

"How's it going? Who made the call?"

"Cold call."

Nicole was very disappointed.

She really wanted to hear from Olivia, even a simple call.

Samuel understood her, but he didn't know how to comfort her.

They stood outside for a while, then Nicole said, "Let's go inside. I don't want the kids to know

something's wrong. It's a grown-up stuff."

"OK."

They went back to the living room.

The kids had got out of the shower and come downstairs.

Lucas was leaning against the sofa cozily.

Joseph still looked serious, while Zoe ran to the kitchen to see what Mark was cooking for them.

As soon as Nicole and Samuel sat down, Lucas asked, "Mommy, is Auntie Olivia back?"

"How do you know?"

Nicole and Samuel were stunned for a moment.

They hadn't heard from Olivia since she went to the border. Even if she came back, Lucas was taking

closed training in the army, then how did he know?

Lucas pointed at his phone which had a red spot on it. He said, "Because I know where she goes."

"What?"

Nicole became nervous, but Samuel got that.

"You mean, you put a tracker on her?"

"Sort of. After Mommy got missing last time, I made trackers, and put them on your jewelry, necklaces

or earrings, something like that, but nothing to worry about, okay? I didn't tell you because I'm afraid

that in case something happened and I couldn't find you, I could use the trackers. Daddy, Mommy,

don't look at me like this, please. You're freaking me out."

Lucas suddenly felt that their gaze became somewhat strangely fervent, so he made a quick

confession.

"Oh sweetie, I love you so much!"

Nicole hugged him and kissed him a lot.

Lucas was confused.

"Mommy, I can't breathe! What's going on? Don't you blame me?"

Lucas looked at them, dumbfounded.

Instead of scolding him, which he often did, Samuel smiled to Lucas, "Tell me where is she now."

"She's in the Bar Alley, not far away from here. That should be in the Nightspot Zone, I remember."

What he said immediately made Nicole and Samuel nervous.

"What? The Nightspot Zone?"

Olivia knew nothing about Kung-Fu! Why did she go there?

Everyone in the Nightspot Zone could make her in trouble.

Nicole became restless.

Suddenly, she stood up, but was stopped by Samuel.

"I'll go with you."

"Then what about them?"

"Don't worry. Uncle Mark is here."

Samuel said naturally.

Lucas finally understood.

"Are you going to find Auntie Olivia?"

"Yes. We need to talk. But relax, she's not kidnapped. It's just she lost her phone and we can't get a

hold of her."

Nicole hurriedly explained.

Lucas felt relieved.

"Alright, why don't you ask Uncle Jacob to pick her up?"

He knew that Olivia was Jacob's girlfriend.

Nicole knew that he would overthink, so she said, "I need to talk to her. I'll tell Jacob later."

She patted him on the head and smiled, "Be good, OK? Stay at home. I'll be right back.

"OK."

Lucas nodded and sent them the address to Samuel.

After they left, Samuel called Jacob instantly.

"The Nightspot Zone. We found her."

At this moment, Jacob was looking for Olivia everywhere. When he got Samuel's call, he almost

collapsed.

"I'll be right there."

After getting in the car, Nicole was silent, as if she was thinking about something.

Samuel did not disturb her.

To be honest, given what had happened before, it was impossible for him to let all the grudge go, but

for Nicole, he endured it.

When they arrived at the rental Olivia was living in, Jacob also came over.

Because the alley was narrow, so they parked their cars outside and walked.

It was a demolition district. Most of the residents there had moved away. Only a few were still living

there, which also explained why the Nightspot Zone was prospering. All the crimes could find their way

through.

Nicole, Samuel and Jacob walked along the alley, which made people there vigilant. They originally

were up to something, but after seeing Samuel's car, they gave it up. They just wondered why Samuel

and his wife would come to such a place.

Although they were curious, after seeing Jacob, they got scared into silence.

Now Jacob was here, what could they do? Nothing!

All the dirty transactions stopped. They were afraid that they would be caught by Samuel.

But Samuel and Nicole didn't want to waste time on this, and Jacob's face got even darker.

He was a little worried.

What if Olivia was bullied here?

Why did she live here?

A bunch of questions popped into his head. He couldn't find the answer. What he could do now was

following Samuel and Nicole.

When they came to the rental, Nicole felt sad and tears filled her eyes.

The house looked like it was going to collapse. If Lucas didn't send the address himself, they would

definitely not expect she was hiding here.

Hearing the footsteps, Booth and Olivia, who were in the rental, became vigilant.

"Olivia, you take the window. I'm handicapped. They won't do anything about me."

Booth couldn't allow anything bad to happen to Olivia here.

But Olivia picked up a brick and said calmly, "As long as I'm still alive, I won't leave you alone."

Booth's eyes were wet with tears.

Olivia used to be a kindergarten teacher, and took care of innocent and cute kids all day long. She

never hit someone with bricks before.

But ever since the incidence at home, she acted like a lioness, protecting Booth from any harm. She

even knocked out a man on the way to escape. She freaked out seeing so much blood, but thinking

about Booth, she managed to pull the man to the side of the road, and called 911, trembling.

From then on, she totally changed.

She was no longer weak, and became fearless. Booth heard her say, "Because I need to protect you.

What if I fall down? How about you then? So I can't. It's not that I am not afraid, but I can't be afraid."

Hearing this, Booth felt heartbroken.

He had once wanted to give her the best things in the world, so that she could live a carefree life. But

now, her words, "It's not that I am not afraid, but I can't be afraid", drove him crazy. He hated himself.

He was the one who implicated her.

Now that the footsteps outside were getting closer and closer, he could sense that Olivia's aura

changed. She grabbed the brick more tightly, as if she would hit those outside of the rental the next

second.

Booth came back to himself and also picked up a brick.

If they really wanted to hurt Olivia, he would protect her even if the cost was his life.

Nicole knew nothing about their feelings right now. When she walked to the door of the rental, her

hands trembled. She even didn't know how to knock on the door properly.

Finally, Jacob could not wait and directly knocked on the door.

It was quiet inside, even without a light on. Nicole and Samuel doubted if Lucas had got that all wrong.

How could one live in a place like this?

Jacob continued to knock, and finally, he kicked the door open, and walked in.

Suddenly, a strong wind blew, as if something was coming towards his forehead.

Jacob was good at Kung-Fu, so he reacted quickly. Not only did he dodge, but his other hand grabbed

Olivia's wrist and pushed her against the wall.

"Let go of my sister! Let go of her!"

Booth didn't see clearly who it was. He only knew that Olivia was caught, so he immediately went

crazy.

He shouted in a hoarse voice. He couldn't stand up, but he struggled to. Blood oozed out of his

trousers.

Jacob was shocked.

He could figure out it was Booth's voice.

While he was in a shock, Olivia took the advantage and grabbed something to smash towards his

head. She seemed that she didn't care if her arm that was held by Jacob would be mutilated.

"Go to hell!"

Jacob never saw her being so vicious before, so he was stunned.

At this moment, Nicole turned on the light, and Samuel pulled Jacob and Olivia apart.

The thing in Olivia's hand suddenly was dropped to the ground. It was a big ashtray. If she really

smashed it on his head, it would definitely be a disaster.

The light made everyone stop.

Looking at them, Olivia was still at a loss.

"How ... How did you find me?"
