Samuel felt that this voice was somewhat familiar.
He turned around and saw a little boy in a small suit walking out.
Armand was also stunned when he saw Samuel and Nicole. The last time he saw Zoe in the park was
when Samuel went to look for Zoe. He naturally knew Samuel was Zoe's father. Thus, the graceful
woman standing beside Samuel must be Zoe's mother.
Why were they here?
If they were here, would Zoe also be here?
Armand immediately became excited.
"Mr. Green, why are you here?"
That the boy could clearly call out Samuel's surname surprised Nicole. She couldn't help but ask, "Who
is this?"
"The brat who kidnapped our daughter in the park last time."
Armand's lips twitched when Samuel said this.
Why was Mr. Green so hostile to him?
Nicole quickly understood.
"You're Armand, right? I've heard about you from Zoe. Are you the one that played the violin?"
"Yes, Mrs. Green."
Armand's every move was refined. It was clear that he must be well-educated.
Nicole was satisfied with the boy.
"You are really good. I thought it was from an adult. Music took practice, you know."
Hearing Nicole's praise, Armand was somewhat happy, but he still said modestly, "Thank you. I just
practice more than others."
"Our son-in-law can't be an artist."
With that, Samuel pulled Nicole away.
Armand was stunned.
What was wrong with artists?
"Mr. Green, is there any misunderstanding?"
Armand felt very nervous and hurriedly asked.
Last time, Samuel was not this hostile to him.
How could the young Armand understand why a father like Samuel was bad to a boy who wanted to
woo his daughter?
"There's no misunderstanding. We are from a business family, and my son-in-law should be a business
genius. Art is just an elegant thing for us, and we cannot live on it. Besides that, I will return the jade
pendant you gave Zoe. I've always wanted to return it to you, but it's delayed because I can't find your
exact location."
It was rare for Samuel to talk so much with a little boy. His words were also harsh.
Nicole felt Samuel's hostility to Armand.
She tugged at Samuel's sleeve and whispered, "It's impolite of you to talk to a child like this."
"I have no intention of being polite. Let's go."
With that, Samuel left with Nicole.
The old butler was so angry that he wanted to speak up for Armand, but Armand stopped him.
Armand was sorrowful now.
Was he hated by Samuel.
Was that also Zoe's attitude?
He could only watch Samuel and Nicole walking into the courtyard opposite him. Then he found
something strange.
He clearly remembered that he had asked the family that lived in the house opposite him and the
surname of them was Bush. But now he knew that Zoe actually lived there.
He missed Zoe just like that?
A trace of sadness flashed across Armand's beautiful eyes.
"Could you please find out where they're going? Book me the same ticket. I'm going with them."
Although Armand was small, he spoke with great confidence, which made the butler somewhat
perplexed and embarrassed.
"Armand, the Piano Competition for Young Pianists is in a week. This is your exam for level six. If you
don't go, your father..."
"You follow my father's words, but take mine for nothing?"
Armand raised his eyebrows, which put much pressure on the butler.
"No. If you do not go to the competition, your father will probably blame you. You know, your father is
strict with you."
"I know that."
After finishing the sentence, Armand walked in, but he was somewhat reluctant to leave.
He wanted to spend more time with Zoe. He really wanted to stay with Zoe. This desire exceeded his
obedience to his father and his love to music.
Everyone envied him for being born into a musical family. They all said that he was a musical genius,
and that he would definitely be able to carry forward everything his parents had in the future.
His grandfather was a famous pianist. His father was a famous violinist. His mother was the leader of
the National Opera Troupe, and even his brothers and sisters won lots of awards at a young age.
Armand was told from birth that music was their family's path of survival and inheritance. Whether he
liked it or not, he had to learn the stave when he was able to remember things. It was the rule of the
Jones family.
Over the past many years, he had thought that he was used to practicing, and that he really liked
music. The melodious sound could not only make him forget all his troubles, but also calmed his
irritable heart. However, ever since he met Zoe, he was shocked to find that there really was an angel
in this world, an angel that he would give up music to get close to.
Business?
To the Jones family, doing business was simply an outrageous act.
The Jones family believed that art was the most holy profession, and that they had to follow the path of
art. In their eyes, businessmen were mercenary and boring men. Once his parents knew that he was
going to do business, they would probably stop him from doing that.
Armand's beautiful eyebrows were tightly knitted together. Even though he was only seven or eight
years old, he had revealed steadiness and wisdom.
After she returned to the house with Samuel, Nicole asked curiously, "Why are you against a child?"
"Can't you see that boy wants to woo your daughter?"
Samuel frowned.
Nicole chuckled after hearing this.
"Samuel, aren't you thinking too much? Your daughter is only five years old, and that boy is just around
seven. He probably doesn't even have any feelings for Zoe. Is he too precocious? Or you are just being
over protective? Zoe is your treasure, but maybe the boy doesn't think so."
However, Samuel said seriously, "If the boy didn't love your daughter, would he give such a good jade
pendant to your daughter as a token of love? That jade pendant is a top-grade emerald. It is priceless."
"Perhaps he doesn't know the price of the jade pendant."
Nicole's words were not that convincing.
Samuel sneered, "Do you really think he is just an ordinary boy? I've investigated him. The Jones
family is well known in the field of music. The children of the family have been well-educated since they
are young. Although they are engaged in pure artistic work, who can guarantee that their hearts are
also pure? Anyway, no one is allowed to get close to my daughter."
Nicole was speechless.
"Are you planning to keep Zoe at home for the rest of her life?"
"Maybe I will. The Green family can afford to support her."
Samuel sounded so proud. Nicole shook her head, but there was nothing she could do.
Samuel directly went to pour herself a glass of water to avoid the argument with Samuel.
Seeing that his wife was a little angry, Samuel hurriedly said, "You like that boy? Our Lucas and Joseph
are better than him. Don't be fooled by his appearance. A doll-like boy isn't suitable for Zoe."
"I'm not angry. I just think you've been a little anxious lately. Yesterday, you were worried about what
Lucas's girlfriend would look like, and today Zoe. Samuel, don't you think you're being over protective?
Zoe and Armand are still so young now. Even if they get together after they grow up, that's their own
business. What are you worrying about now? If you have time, it's better to think about what time to
leave tomorrow."
Nicole really didn't know what had happened to Samuel these past two days, but there was no need for
such a boring argument.
Samuel thought for a while and nodded. He took a step forward and hugged Nicole. He rubbed her
face affectionately and whispered, "Honey, what time do you want to leave tomorrow morning?"
His warm breath was sprayed on Nicole's face, making Nicole want to laugh.
"Stop. Aren't you the powerful president? Why are you acting like a puppy now?"
"If you want me to be a puppy, then I would."
As he spoke, Samuel reached his hands into Nicole's clothes.
Nicole's face immediately turned red.
"Samuel, what are you doing?"
"Didn't you come here to avoid the kids? Don't you want to enjoy the romantic time with me?"
At the sight of Samuel's flirtatious gaze, Nicole felt embarrassed and her heart beat wildly.
"Nonsense. I don't think so."
What did the man think of her?
Nicole struggled, but she was hugged more tightly by Samuel.
"Honey, I got the wrong idea. But I want to enjoy the romantic time with you."
"No, Samuel, where are you putting your hands?"
Nicole cried out, and then her mouth was kissed by Samuel.
When she realized what happened, she was already on the bed.
Nicole was depressed, but she could not stop Samuel. She could only indulge what Samuel did to her.
At dawn, Fill had dispatched a private plane. A car directly took the children to the entrance of the
courtyard.
The bright light illuminated Armand's window, causing him to suddenly open his eyes.
Armand sat up and leaned on the window to see Nicole and Samuel getting into a car and leaving.
Armand quickly jumped out of bed and wanted the butler to follow Nicole and Samuel, but he found that
the butler was gone.
The door to the house was locked, and the keys and electronic locks had apparently been changed.
Armand's expression immediately changed.
He knew that the butler had said something to his father. He was afraid that his whereabouts would be
monitored.
Armand's beautiful eyebrows were tightly knitted. He was thoughtful right now.
Zoe yawned as she looked at Nicole who was carried into the car by Samuel. She couldn't help but say
to Joseph, "Joseph, I want a hug, too."
As she spoke, she stretched out her arms and pounced towards Joseph.
Joseph hurriedly caught her and covered a coat on her shoulder.
"I'll wake you up when we arrive at the airport."
"Okay."
Zoe nodded and fell asleep again.
The car ran forward quickly, because there were very few cars on the road at this time of the morning.
However, when they were about to arrive at the airport, the driver suddenly whispered, "Mr. Green,
there seems to be a car following us."
