Samuel frowned and whispered, "Let's think about what we are facing now. The mining is not going
smoothly." Justice Lee is confused.
He then reported everything to Morty. Although Samuel knew that Emory would report to the higher-
ups, Morty was his direct supervisor. Samuel had to fulfill his own duties.
After listening to Samuel's report, Morty couldn't stay calm anymore.
He said, "I'll go talk to the old man and see if he has any good ideas. Protect William as hard as you
can. At worst, send him back to Capital City. I'll get you a helicopter."
Considering William's safety, Morty decided that Samuel should suspend the mining.

After hanging up the phone, Samuel returned to the bedroom. He noticed that Nicole also happened to
hang up the phone.
"Who was it?"

Nicole whispered, "Emory. He was instructed that the mining should be suspended before we found a

be wasted."
"Mr. Morty thinks the same. He might send a helicopter to send William to Capital City for
recuperation."
Samuel knew how important William was to Nicole, so he told her about it.

"What about Sally? Did you tell him anything about Sally?"
Samuel nodded and said, "Mr. Morty will send Sally back too. After all, she is Edwin's only daughter
now. Edwin has had a tough life. Morty won't disappoint him."
However, Nicole said worriedly, "If Sally and William go back, Zayn will be in danger."
"Not necessarily."
Samuel shook his head and said, "If Leo wants to control Sally, he must keep Zayn alive. Otherwise, he
won't get any useful information from Sally. Judging from Sally's attitude towards Zayn, Leo must think
that Zayn is very important to Sally. So, he won't kill Zayn."
Nicole knew that what Samuel said was true, but she was still worried.
"What about us? What should we do? Are we going back with them? If we do, will those people stop
hunting you? Will they stop investigating Emory?"
"I don't think so. Mr. Morty has known what Sally said. Those people are currently examining all the
female Freemans. Before they finish the investigation, Emory and I still need to trick them," Samuel
explained.
Nicole agreed with him. After all, they had gone through a lot of things. She could wait.
Nicole frowned as if she was considering something.
Samuel took a step forward and took her into his arms. He said softly, "I know you're worried about
Zayn and Trevin, right?"
"Yes."
Nicole was telling the truth.
She had lost contact with Trevin for a long time, and was afraid that she hadn't been able to protect

embarrassed.
"I'm hungry."

"Yes. I heard it."
"Did you? Hurry up and fetch me some food then! You should learn from Sally. She got up early in the
morning to prepare food for Elvis. Samuel, you don't love me anymore."
Nicole whimpered on purpose.
There was nothing that Samuel could do with Nicole. He said, "Sally cooked for Elvis, not the other way
around."
"Are you saying that I'm not a good wife?"
Nicole raised her eyebrows. In an instant, Samuel became silent.
"No. That's not what I meant. Sorry to starve you. It's all my fault. How about this? After breakfast, I'll
be your exclusive servant."
Nicole immediately blushed.
"You're getting naughtier and naughtier."
Nicole pushed Samuel away to escape, but Samuel grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back again.
Then, he gave her a hot kiss.
Nicole was unhappy. Why did he kiss her again?

Nicole knew that if she refused again, Samuel would probably feel even guiltier, so she whispered,
"Alright. It's all up to you."
"That's my good girl."
Samuel stretched out his hand and rubbed Nicole's nose. Then, he turned around and left the room.
Nicole felt sore all over. She leaned against the bed and tried to rest. After a little while, she fell asleep.
Samuel happened to see Nicole sleeping when he returned. He felt even more worried.
He walked gently to Nicole's side and reached out to touch her forehead. She wasn't having a
temperature. Samuel heaved a sigh of relief.
He didn't wake Nicole up for the meal. Instead, he called the doctor.
The doctor checked for Nicole and said, "Mr. Green, Mrs. Green is very weak at the moment, and she
is not used to the climate here. That's why she is tired and sleepy. I'll prescribe some medicine for her.
You'd better leave this place. After all, you can't change the climate."
Hearing that there was nothing serious about Nicole's health, Samuel felt relieved.
"Alright. I see."
Samuel sent the doctor away. He was wondering whether to wake Nicole up or not when Nicole
opened her eyes. She was hungry.
