Nicole felt an antipathy against the young man's rude behavior and was about to interfere. However,
Lucas stood up first and responded coldly, "Are you in charge here?"
"Little kid, you know quite a bit. Then how dare you come here to challenge me. I was the best one
before you came!"
The young man said arrogantly.
Lucas put on his coat which he had taken off for feeling a little hot and then turned to his mother,
smiling, "Mommy, let's go."
"Okay."
Nicole originally thought that Lucas would be annoyed and get into trouble. She didn't expect that her
son didn’t care about that guy at all.
Lucas’ neglect provoked the young man.
"You want to go? None of you can get out unless you play the game with me. Do you want to try?"
The young man wouldn't let them go.
Lucas frowned tightly.
"Get away!"
He said in a cold tone.
Being humiliated by such a little child, the young man naturally wouldn't let them go easily.
"Little shit! You've got some nerve. Do you believe...."
Just as he raised his hand, Lucas kicked him on the knee. The man directly went down on his knees.
"Who do you think you are to compete with me? It's good that you know your mistake. You don't have
to kneel to me. It's too much for me."
"You're courting death!"
The young man had never been treated like this. He angrily picked up a chair and smashed it towards
Lucas.
Nicole hurriedly took a step back to make room for Lucas. She did not plan to help him.
For she knew her son was able to kick the hooligan's ass easily, but the crowds around started to look
at her reprovingly.
"What are you doing? You are a mother! Your son is going to be beaten up. Why are you still hiding
behind?"
"She must be a stepmother. A real mother can't bring her child to the arcade."
Hearing those comments, Nicole somewhat wanted to laugh.
Nicole dodged the attack from the young man and hurriedly spoke for her mother when he heard those
accusing words.
"Shut up! Who are you to judge my Mommy?"
"This kid is unreasonable."
The surrounding people began to denunciate them more fiercely.
Nicole was a little angry.
The young man found that Lucas did not fight back after avoiding his attack, so he guessed this child
was just a coward and was ready to start a violent attack.
Nicole's expression finally turned cold.
"I don't fight back, not because I'm afraid of you, but because my instructor has told me not to attack
the ordinary person. Since you are so stubborn, then don't blame me for teaching you a lesson."
Nicole's eyes became sharp and he moved swiftly.
Before the young man could realize what was going on, he had already gotten kicked.
Although he was much taller than Lucas, but he was kicked flying. His body hit against a game
machine, and then fell heavily upon the floor.
The crowds were immediately silent. It was so quiet that one could even hear the sound of a needle
dropping onto the ground.
They were all frightened by Lucas.
Lucas walked forward and stepped on the back of the man's hand. He said coldly, "You dare to stop
me?"
The young man had never been humiliated like this. He cried out in pain.
"Little brat, you dare to hit me! Do you know who I am? My boss is Mr. Gerry. You're dead. You get in
trouble now. Mr. Gerry will not spare you!"
The young man shouted. Nicole who stood beside frowned slightly.
Mr. Gerry?
Was it Gerry Green? Gerry was currently under the supervision of Samuel, so he would not be able to
make waves outside. However, for the sake of safety, Nicole wanted to confirm the identity.
"What Mr. Gerry? Which family does he come from?"
The young man said angrily, "He was a Green in the Seapolis City. His name is Gerry Green!"
Nicole and instantly changed their face.
"Which family are you talking about?"
Lucas stepped on the hand of the young man with more strength.
The man cried painfully, "Little bastard! Don't you know the Green family in the Seapolis City? You piss
me off. I'll let you pay for it."
The young man continued shouting.
Nicole suddenly laughed and handed him her phone.
"Look, I give you a chance. Call Mr. Gerry now and ask him where he is. You can see if he can he
come over here to help you."
The young man was slightly in shock.
He looked at Nicole's faint smile and did not know what to do next. Finally, he took the phone.
Lucas also let go of him.
The young man quickly called Gerry.
The call went through very quickly.
"Mr. Gerry, I was beaten up in arcade. They are too arrogant and dare to bully me in our place. Mr.
Gerry, you must help me!" the young man complained hurriedly as if he saw a savior.
Seeing this scene, Nicole suddenly felt herself a thug.
Was she the one being unreasonable?
Lucas also looked at him with disdain. If there was not mommy, he would have crippled this bastard
directly.
After the man finished his words, from the other side came Gerry's voice.
"Can't you handle such a tiny thing? You should want me to help you. Are you a nut? Am I the boss, or
are you? If I have to take care of everything for you, what do I need you for?"
"Mr. Gerry, this brat is especially good at fighting. I can't beat him."
The young man said dejectedly.
Gerry was angrier when he heard this.
"Don't you know to call your friends? Why do you have to play him one-on-one? Are you a nut?"
Nicole felt a little puzzled about Gerry's calling freely. When she heard his words, she could not help
but frown, and then spoke faintly.
"Gerry, I'm Nicole. It's Lucas who beat him. What? You want to call people to fight us? Are you sure?"
As soon as Nicole finished her words, the other end fell silent.
Gerry kept quiet for so long time that the young man thought their connection was broken. He took a
look at the screen. There was no problem with the bars.
"Hello, Mr. Gerry, are you still there?"
Gerry was instantly enraged.
"What the hell is wrong with you? The one who hit you is my nephew and the woman who just talks
with me is my sister-in-law. Do you want me to defend you? Have you gotten kicked in your head?"
The young man was shocked and then looked at Nicole and Lucas in disbelief.
Nicole felt a little strange.
Gerry was pretty arrogant to her before. Why did he suddenly call her sister-in-law?
What did Samuel do to him?
The young man was also weathercock. He quickly collected himself and revealed a bright smile,
bowing to them, "Lady, dear little master, I'm blind. It's my fault."
Nicole smiled faintly, but Lucas put on a more serious expression.
"Stop your phoniness. Don't call us like that."
"Yes, you are right. Goddess, you are my goddess. Please forgive me this time. I'm just wondering how
an ordinary person can play this well. It turns out you're Mr. Gerry's nephew! You are such a genius."
The young man was now totally different from who he was before.
Some nearby knew their identities began to snap photos and upload them to social media. After all, it
was somewhat impossible for them, ordinary people, to meet Samuel who was like a God. Coming
across his wife and children was a great honor for them.
Finding more and more people gathering here, Nicole grabbed Lucas’ hand and whispered, "Let's go."
"Okay."
Nicole also didn't like to get too much attention.
Watching them turning away, the young man heaved a sigh of relief and wiped away the sweat on his
forehead with his hand. Catching the poppy tattoo on his arm, Nicole stopped.
"My goddess, what else can I do for you?"
The young man was depressed.
Aren't they going to leave?
Why did they stop?
Nicole looked at the tattoo on his arm and asked coldly, "What is the tattoo on your arm?"
"This one? Well, whoever follows Mr. Gerry will be tattooed with it. This is our symbol."
The young man hurriedly replied.
A trace of mixed emotion flashed through Nicole's eyes.
So Gerry indeed had something to do with the poppy pattern.
Did Samuel get any information from Gerry?
"What is your name?"
The young man was startled when Nicole asked his name suddenly. However, he hurriedly answered,
"My name is Jamar Hunt."
"Give me your phone number. I'll call you if there is something. You'd better not think about leaving the
Seapolis City. If I don't let you go, you won't be able to leave. Keep it in your mind"
Nicole said indifferently.
Jamar hurriedly nodded.
"I see! I will do whatever you say."
Jamar quickly told Nicole his phone number.
After getting the number, Nicole left arcade with Lucas.
Lucas looked at Nicole and whispered, "Mommy, do you want to investigate what has happened to
Auntie Olivia?"
"Yes, if I don't find it out, there is always a wedge between mommy and her. Adults will handle our
problems, so you don't have to worry."
Nicole stroked Lucas’ head.
Nicole has really grown up. She felt very gratified about the way his son dealing with that guy just now.
"OK, I'll help you if you need me. After we arrive home, I'll search the Internet for that poppy. Maybe it's
a slogan of some organizations. If we get a clue, you'll be easier to do the investigation."
"Alright."
Nicole and Lucas had something outside before heading back to the Green's.
However, when they came back, they saw a car which they had not seen outside their home.
Was there a guest at home?
Why didn't anyone call her?
Nicole parked her car in the garage and held Lucas’ hand, walking into the living room.
"Wendy, is there a guest?"
Petty was taking care of the children in the hospital and Zac had to go out to deal with something.
There was only Wendy at home. When she heard Nicole's call, she hurriedly ran out.
"Mrs. Green, there is an old couple who said that they are your parents. They also bring back a
woman. I was originally going to call you but they stopped me and said they would like to wait for you. I
have arranged them to watch TV in the living room."
Nicole paused for a moment when she heard this.
An old couple? Parents?
Did Mr. and Mrs. Bush return from the trip?
Nicole instantly burst into a smile as she quickly walked towards the living room with Lucas.
"Mom and Dad, you're back?"
She pulled open the living room door. However, her smile froze on her face when she saw the
scene.
