"Nicole, are you threatening me?"
Elvis sneered.
Nicole hung up the phone directly.
"Lucas, have you found the location?"
Nicole asked Lucas.
Lucas whispered, "Yes. He's at 32 West Ring Road. I just checked. It is the Technology Center. I'm not
sure which floor he's in. The call was too short for me to figure that out."
"That's enough."
Nicole directly called "1".
"Where are your people?"
"Outside. Just give Heather the order."
Nicole hung up the phone.
She got up and walked upstairs.
Blair was confused, but now he seemed to have understood that Nicole was planning to capture Elvis.
He hurriedly stopped her.
"What are you doing? Do you know that you will get Samuel killed if you do this?"
"I want him happy better than anyone."
Nicole pushed Blair away and went back to the bedroom to change into a neat sportswear.
Lucas also got changed. He looked at Blair and whispered, "Uncle Blair, don't worry. We will be fine.
We'll get Samuel out."
"You guys are messing around!"
Blair was so angry that he felt a headache. However, he had to admit that if Nicole could control Elvis
and negotiate with him, Samuel could be saved.
"I'll go with you."
This time, Nicole did not refuse.
When they left the Green's, they saw Petty and Ernesto return.
Ernesto's car was in a mess while Petty's was slightly better.
Seeing that they weren't injured, Nicole heaved a sigh of relief.
"Go back and have a good rest."
"Mrs. Green, where are you going?"
Petty hurriedly asked.
Nicole paused for a moment and said, "I've got something to do. Take some rest. Maybe I'll need your
help later."
"I'll go with you. Mr. Green had told me to protect you before he left."
Petty was about to turn around, but she was stopped by Nicole.
"I said, no. Take some rest. Lucas and I have work to do."
Nicole clearly didn't want Petty to follow her. Petty would become an invited guest if she insisted.
Blair was somewhat confused. He asked Nicole, "Petty's good at fighting. With her there, it'll be easier
for us to get Elvis. Why don't you allow her to go with us?"
"Elvis' men were following her just now. Although she seems fine on the surface, what if she is actually
injured? Let her rest for a while. There'll be people helping us."
Blair did not quite understand what Nicole meant. When he followed her to the suburbs and saw more
than a hundred mercenaries, Blair was a little uneasy.
"You know people abroad? Nicole, who are you exactly? Where did these mercenaries come from? Do
you know the consequences of your actions?"
"They are from the Underground Union."
Nicole said indifferently, then walked towards the mercenaries.
Blair was so surprised that he seemed to have been petrified.
The Underground Union?
That was a very powerful organization. How could Nicole know people from there?
"I have a question for you."
"Go ahead."
Nicole had been wearing a scowl ever since she knew that Samuel was in trouble. She didn't show any
emotion on her face. She was serious even before Blair. To her, half of her world was falling apart with
Samuel in trouble.
Blair hesitated for a moment and asked, "You have such a strong background. Back then, Laurel was
being cruel to you, and Joseph had autism. You were even driven to Land City. Why didn't you contact
them? You would rather be poisoned dumb than ask them for help. Why?"
Nicole paused for a moment.
She turned her head and looked at Blair, then said word by word, "Because I only have one chance,
and I paid for it with my life. I can't waste it. But if it is to save Samuel, it will be worth it."
Nicole did not explain everything, but her words were enough for Blair to think a lot.
"How did you get to know them?"
"Let's talk about this later."
Nicole did not say anything else. She walked in front of Heather.
When Heather saw Nicole, she nodded and said, "Ms. Nicole, Boss has asked us to help you. We'll be
under your command these days."
"Thank you. It's simple. Just follow this address and find this person. Trap him inside."
Heather was startled.
"That's all?"
"Yes. There's no need to make a move, or to fight or kill. Just watch him and don't let him take a step
out of the room."
Heather finally understood Nicole's request. She quickly followed the address given by Lucas.
Blair was confused.
"Aren't you going to negotiate with Elvis?"
"I don't want to negotiate with him without finding out who the thief is. After all, the most important thing
now is to rescue Samuel. At least, I should get the chance to visit him. I want to know what his situation
now."
This was Nicole's goal.
Seeing this, Blair stopped talking.
He felt that he had misunderstood Nicole. Nicole was quite a responsible woman.
Nicole leaned against the car and did not go inside the Technology Center. She seemed to be waiting
for something, but she was very calm.
Blair felt that he couldn't see through her anymore.
Samuel probably didn't know the things Nicole was capable of neither.
Lucas took out his computer and quickly started typing. Blair didn't know what he was doing. Nicole
looked into the distance. She seemed to be deep in thought, but she also seemed to have let go of her
thoughts, thinking of nothing.
Blair took out a cigarette but did not light it. He just put it near his mouth and sniffed it.
Heather took her people to the Technology Center.
Nicole waited for a while before her phone rang. A voice sounded from the other end of the phone.
"We've already put pressure on him. It won't be long before you can meet your husband. Ms. Nicole,
our debt is settled."
"I see. Thank you, and no goodbye then."
Nicole hung up the phone and heaved a sigh of relief.
That person on the phone said that she could go see Samuel soon. That was to say, she could really
see Samuel soon.
Nicole hurriedly got in the car and said to Blair, "Get in. I want to go home and get changed."
"Again?"
Blair felt that women were really troublesome. He frowned slightly.
Nicole said indifferently, "Well, I'll be seeing Samuel soon. I need to get myself dressed and put on
more delicate makeup. Otherwise, he'll be worried."
"He'll be worried about you no matter what. You're his life. If something happens to you, he'll be a
walking corpse."
"Me too."
Nicole's simple words moved Blair.
He had always felt that Samuel was the only giver in this marriage after he figured out that he loved
Nicole. Blair felt unfair for Samuel, but now he finally realized that he was wrong.
Nicole loved Samuel more than anything. She had a very strong background, but she wouldn't ask for
help even if she was in danger. Now she actually used it in order to see Samuel.
Blair stopped talking and followed Nicole back to the Green's.
Nicole spent a lot of time putting on her makeup. When she appeared in front of Blair again, she had
completely changed.
Originally, she looked like a big sister next door, but now, she was noble, elegant, and a little cute.
Blair had to admit that Nicole was extremely beautiful.
After Nicole finished all of this, she waited quietly. Not long after, she received a phone call.
It was Jason.
"Nicole, I don't know what's going on. My friend suddenly contacted me and said that he could let you
meet Samuel. However, I can't do anything else for the time being. I think it's very important to see if
Samuel was hurt."
Jason kept talking nonstop. After saying "I see", Nicole hung up the phone.
It was done!
Nicole felt like she was dreaming.
Blair was not surprised. The foreign mercenaries, the Underground Union abroad, and the 158
organization. If these three big shots together couldn't give Nicole a chance to see Samuel, their
owners would be replaced.
"I'll drive."
Blair was worried about Nicole's safety.
Nicole did not refuse. She got in the car, and Blair directly drove to the detention center.
The environment in the detention center was not very good. Nicole was feeling distressed as she
walked. Samuel had probably never been in this place before. She wondered if he could get used to
living here. It was said that there was a "boss prisoner" in every prison. Although as a fighter, Samuel
might not be injured, Nicole was still worried about his current situation.
Nicole stood outside the detention center, feeling a little timid.
"What are you afraid of? The person you want to see is in there. Have you changed your mind?"
Blair looked at Nicole and said indifferently.
Nicole took a deep breath before walking in.
The guard brought Nicole to the living room. Nicole sat down. Then, someone else went to bring
Samuel out.
When Nicole saw Samuel again, her eyes instantly turned red.
"You've lost weight."
Nicole choked up.
Samuel looked at her and smiled, "I've only been here for half a day. How can I lose weight? It's only
your imagination."
"I don't care. I just feel that you've lost weight."
Nicole was playing naughty like a child.
"Alright, alright. Whatever you say."
Samuel did not argue with her. He pampered her as usual. He liked to see Nicole doing things as she
pleased.
Tears instantly filled Nicole's eyes.
"Why are you still pampering me at this time? Do you know what you are going through?"
"Don't worry about me. Take the children and leave the Seapolis City. Give Elvis whatever he wants. As
long as you and the children are safe, I will have nothing to regret."
Nicole paused for a second. She looked at Samuel and asked, "What about you? What do you mean,
don't worry about you? You are my husband and the father of my children. If I don't worry about you,
who will?"
"You are simply..."
Samuel didn't know what to do with Nicole's stubbornness.
He suddenly sat up straight and looked at Nicole, saying word by word, "Nicole, you must remember
what I'm going to say. Don't act rashly when you go out. Wait until the right time. You'd better leave the
Seapolis City at the moment."
