Laurence paused for a moment before leaving.
Nicole drank a glass of milk, sat in Samuel's chair and closed her eyes. She went through everything.
Then she got relieved after making sure that she was well prepared.
It was now or never.
Around 3 pm, Rebecca's parents started to make a fuss in front of the Eternal Group.
After Daisy found about it, she protected Rebecca as Nicole instructed.
Rebecca cried when she facetimed Nicole.
"Ms. Bush, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
"There's no point in apologizing to me now. You're working for me. I won't leave you alone. Let me
handle it. Just stay out of it and listen to Daisy."
Rebecca mellowed out because Nicole looked quite calm.
"But my parents are leeches. They won't stop until they drain me dry."
"Do you have any records when you transfer money to them?"
Rebecca nodded.
"Yes. I got the records."
"Print it and give it to Daisy. Leave the rest to us."
"Alright, thank you, Ms. Bush. If I could get it over with, I will work hard and earn more money for the
company."
Rebecca did not know how to express her gratitude.
For some reason, seeing Nicole so calm and relaxed, Rebecca believed that she could get rid of her
leech-like parents.
"We'll talk later. Just work hard."
Nicole hung up the phone and sent a message to Daisy.
"They have found out that Rebecca was raised by her grandmother. Her parents didn't give her any
money. If we can find her grandmother, the problem will be solved."
Daisy replied quickly, "Ernesto has brought her grandmother here. Mr. Green has collected some
evidence. I will hold a press conference now. This time, I'll call Rebecca's parents' bluff."
Nicole paused.
Samuel did these things?
He must have done it when Fernanda came to the company for Nicole. But Nicole was sleeping at
home that morning.
Samuel always did everything without letting her know, which melted Nicole's heart.
Had Samuel arrived in South Africa? How was the situation there? Was he having neuralgia again?
Nicole's mind drifted.
"OK, let's do it. I'll leave Rebecca's parents to you."
"Alright, Ms. Bush."
Daisy hung up the phone.
Nicole rubbed her chin. Dominic hadn't moved. He was quite calm this time.
Viola was getting closer to the Seapolis City. Nicole hoped that nothing would happen.
She waited in anxiety.
Laurence told her that Dominic had abandoned his company. He let things getting worse and ignored
the chaos in the company.
For some reason, his weird behaviors struck terror into Nicole's heart.
As a normal person, Dominic shouldn't be so indifferent to his company. After all, it took so many years
of hard work. Even if he didn't want it, he could leave it to Viola.
However, Dominic gave up. Nicole feared that if he wanted to die with her.
Dominic was crazy.
Nicole prayed that he would not to do so. But she didn't want to leave her fate to prayers. She had to
do something.
"Laurence, check if Dominic made any financial planning for Viola."
Laurence was surprised and pause for a moment, but he quickly found it out.
"Three months ago, Dominic bought Viola 10 million of financial insurance for a period of ten years. He
also bought some promising stocks, including some of the Green Group."
Nicole frowned.
She was right.
Dominic had decided to die.
He had prepared so much for Viola.
Nicole knew that Dominic loved Audrey, but she didn't expect him to be so extreme because of that.
After Audrey died, the only meaning of Dominic's life was Viola. Now he had got everything set up for
Viola. There was only one reason why he did it. He wanted to kill Nicole and himself!
Nicole couldn't help but sweat profusely on her back.
She was not afraid of her enemies. She just hated to mess around with such a paranoid lunatic.
"Mrs. Green, have you thought of something?"
Laurence didn't know why Nicole was investigating this, so he asked.
Nicole was thinking of something.
She had thought that Laurence and the others could handle Dominic. She could rest and go to South
Africa for Samuel and Joseph later. Now, it seemed that she had to adjust her plan.
"Come and drive me to the airport. I want to take Viola to grandpa's place by myself."
But Laurence disagreed.
"No, maybe Dominic's men are watching you around. We can protect you at the Green's or the
company. But there are too many people at the airport. We can't do anything if Dominic attacked you
there. You're simply a moving target."
Laurence didn't want Nicole to go out.
However, Nicole whispered, "If I went to the airport, perhaps there's a chance for me to survive. Staying
here will only mean death. Tell the company and all the servants at the Green's to get off work early.
Don't come back without my notice. The staff is on paid leave. Hurry up!"
She was afraid that Dominic would hurt the innocent.
Although Laurence did not agree with her, he did as Nicole said.
Nicole changed into a set of work clothes like other employees. Then she left the company with the
mass workers who got off work.
When Dominic knew that Nicole gave the staff a holiday, he just sneered.
"Stupid kindness."
He didn't care about it. Anyway, he didn't want those employees dead. Nicole was his only target.
After leaving the company, Nicole took a taxi to the airport and called Laurence on the way.
"I'm on the way to the airport. When I get there, I'll use Mr. Bradford's lounge. Don't come over now.
Otherwise, Dominic will get suspicious. It's best if you stay outside and guard the Green's."
"No!"
Laurence roared.
"Do you know how dangerous it is for you to do this? You pick up Viola by yourself. If anything
happened to you, what should I tell Mr. Green?"
"Listen to me. I'll be safe. You'd better stay at the gate of the Green's, so that Dominic would think that I
have returned and hid there. This way, you can distract his attention, and I can do my thing."
Nicole explained, but Laurence was stubborn.
"No, you can have others guard here. I have to be with you."
"Laurence, I trust you the most. Dominic won't buy it if you were not there. Remember I am the owner.
You must listen to me. This is an order!"
Laurence got depressed.
"I...."
"If you disobey it, you won't stay by my side anymore."
Nicole said forcefully, so Laurence fell silent.
He clenched his fists and took a few deep breaths before saying, "Then you must keep me posted. I
want to make sure that you are safe."
"Don't worry. I will ask Uncle Jason to protect me."
Laurence was stunned. He almost forgot that Nicole was a Don.
"Alright, you must stay safe."
Laurence said in a constricted voice.
Nicole was touched.
"Don't worry. I'm looking forward to your wedding."
After saying that, Nicole hung up the phone.
She did not call Jason. Instead, she called Claire.
If the Dons made a move, everyone would know what they were doing. They were too high profile.
Claire was surprised to receive a call from Nicole. They had met at the party a few days ago. Was there
something wrong with Nicole?
Claire answered the phone soon.
"Nicole, what's wrong?"
"Claire, I need Emory's help, but I can't call the military compound. Could you tell him for me?"
Nicole thought about it and found that she could only ask Emory for help.
The military were more convincing than ordinary people. No one dared to stop the army's troops.
Claire replied quickly, "Okay."
"I want him to send a team to the airport for a 'mission'. I know that this is inappropriate. It might even
violate the law in the army. But I have no choice. I...."
"I'm going to the airport for a criminal extradited from abroad. What can I do for you? Tell me. I won't
break the law. But it's impossible to send a team for you alone."
Emory suddenly took over the phone.
Nicole didn't expect that Emory would answer the phone. She was shocked. Luckily, it turned out pretty
well.
"Thank you, Emory."
Nicole told Emory her plans.
Emory pondered for a moment. "I'll send a messenger over. He'll bring you a set of military uniforms.
You can join my team. I'll bring you back to the military compound."
"Thank you so much."
After hanging up the phone, Nicole let out a deep breath.
It was so stressful to talk to Emory. Nicole really respected Claire for being able to live together with
Emory.
The taxi arrived at the airport soon.
Nicole disguised herself and got out of the car. She used the membership card she borrowed from
Ashley and went to Steve's lounge.
And Nicole got shocked by the furnishings and decorations in it.
Steve really knew how to live his life.
Nicole noticed that there was a surveillance system outside the lounge. So, she turned it on.
There were many people in the hall, but Nicole found something abnormal.
Some people were walking around casually. Thanks to her sharp eyes, Nicole saw that they were
wearing something on their waist. Judging from the way they walked, they were all specially trained.
They were Dominic's men?
Nicole was not sure, and she called the police.
Very quickly, the police came over. Those people immediately ran away when they saw the police.
However, the police were waiting for it.
"Hey! Stop!"
The policeman roared, but those people fled in all directions.
Suddenly, Nicole saw a familiar figure.
