Samuel's face went an ugly green.

"Samuel, stop messing around! Go home!"

He wanted to hold Nicole in his arms, but she dodged him with a flash.

"Go away! Who will go home with you? I won't! We've got divorced. No more our home!"

After drinking, Samuel belched and shouted to Samuel, still dazed.

Samuel's icy cold gaze almost froze the air.

When employees saw what happened, they didn't know what to so. Some immediately called Daisy.

Samuel took a deep breath and tried to suppress his anger. He stepped forward again and held Nicole

against her will.

"Put me down! Samuel, you bastard! We're divorced!"

"Shut up!"

Samuel got more and more furious.

"Ms. Bush..."

Someone wanted to stop Samuel but quickly took a step back, frightened by Samuel's cold eyes.

"Coward!"

Nicole frowned and muttered, suffering intensive stomachache.

She patted Samuel and whispered, "I want to vomit."

Samuel frowned again.

When he saw how uncomfortable Nicole was, he felt pity for her and carried her to the bathroom.

Everyone else was driven out by Samuel.

He carried Nicole and placed her on the bathtub.

Nicole kept puking air in front of the bathtub.

"You drank without eating?"

Samuel's voice was as cold as the winter snow.

Samuel shivered and glanced at him in a daze, "It's none of your business."

"Mind your words!"

Samuel felt that Nicole was getting on his nerves. He was dazzled by the way she squinted her eyes

after drinking.

He couldn't control himself anymore.

Samuel was naughty at this time. She wouldn't listen to Samuel.

"I won't! I won't! Leave me alone"

She retched again.

Seeing that she was only puking air, Samuel carried her on his shoulder and walked out.

The company staff waited outside and walked closer when Samuel came out.

"Get lost!"

Samuel's was in a bad mood, especially when Nicole was drunk. He wouldn't have minded if these

people had been keen on observation.

"What's your relationship Ms. Bush? Wanting to take Ms. Bush away? We're going to call the police."

The man in front took out his phone and threatened Samuel.

Samuel sneered and took out their marriage certificate.

"Still blocking my way?"

Seeing that Samuel was Nicole's husband, they immediately stepped back.

"Mr. Green, Ms. Bush drink too much without eating. She might feel uncomfortable. You..."

"Why the hell did you let her drink so much without eating?"

Samuel roared so fiercely that the man immediately stopped talking.

Nicole was somewhat angry.

"Samuel, look, don't scare my employees, or you can only sleep on the sofa!"

She said with a domineering tone.

Samuel calmed down a little.

"How can I sleep on the bed?"

Samuel didn't notice his tone was much softer.

Samuel grabbed Samuel, suddenly retched, and then said angrily, "Samuel, I feel so uncomfortable!"

"Alright, I'll take you home."

Looking at Nicole gently, he held Nicole in his arms and left.

Those Employees did not stop him anymore.

"This is Ms. Bush's husband? Why does he look so familiar? I think I've seen him somewhere before."

"Didn't you guys read the financial report? He seems to be Samuel, a famous business man in the

Seapolis City."

"Did Ms. Bush call Samuel just now?"

"I think so."

They whispered to each other, and finally realized why Nicole's filmmaking company would operate so

well.

Nicole was completely unaware of their gossip

She felt dizzy after Samuel carried her into the car.

Samuel leaned her on his shoulder, and Ernesto drove smoothly.

Returning to Nicole's place, Samuel lifted Nicole out of the car. She had fallen asleep.

In these past few months, they had separated. It hurt him to part with her, but more to see Nicole suffer.

Samuel carried her back to the bedroom, took off her shoes and covered her with the blanket. When he

turned around, the corner of his shirt was grabbed by Nicole.

"Don't leave!"

She spoke in a low voice and even choked. There was a drop of tear under her eye.

Samuel felt heartbroken.

He sat in front of Samuel and whispered, "I'm not leaving. Take some rest and I'll make you some

porridge."

Nicole did not react and she fell asleep just like that.

Samuel was reluctant to let go of her hand. Nicole's sad expression almost killed him. However, he had

no other choice. Nicole couldn't know anything about it.

"I'm sorry."

Samuel whispered and kissed Nicole on the forehead. Then he pulled the corner of his shirt out of

Nicole's hand.

Nicole didn't know any of this. She just felt a stomachache.

She remembered how depressed she had been these past few days. She felt so pitiful for herself that

she couldn't fall asleep anymore.

Samuel sat up and knocked down the cup on the table. They were both shocked.

Samuel immediately rushed to Nicole. He shouted nervously when Nicole bent down to pick up the

fragments of glass, "Don't move!"

Nicole was about to squat. Her entire body froze when Samuel shouted.

Samuel picked up the broom and hurriedly swept all the shards into the trash can.

"Just go to bed and lie down. Leave it to me."

Seeing Nicole's silly cute face, Samuel lowered his voice.

However, Nicole stood up and came to Samuel. She grabbed his collar and pulled him close to her.

"Samuel?"

Samuel felt warm on his face as Nicole breathed. His mood became better now.

"I'm here."

He nodded.

"You bastard!"

Samuel slapped him.

Samuel's face turned cold. His left face quickly swelled up.

However, he did not dodge or say anything. Instead, he hugged Nicole and gave her a domineering

kiss.

Nicole did not push him away but tightly wrapped her arms around Samuel's neck, enjoying the kiss.

Samuel was stunned.

But he quickly collected himself and took control.

They did what lovers would do.

Nicole was exhausted and fell asleep. Samuel looked at her and had mixed feelings about what

happened.

He really wanted to be with Nicole, but not in this way. He knew that Nicole was probably so

enthusiastic because she had drank too much.

He didn't know if she would continue their relationship after she woke up.

Samuel stood up and took on his clothes. Looking at hickeys on Nicole's body, he regretted for being

too fierce. He failed to control himself after days of separation.

He covered Nicole with the blanket and then went down to cook porridge for her.

When Nicole woke up, Samuel had gone.

She only felt a severe pain all over her body, especially down there.

She started to remember something.

She was overwhelmed by annoyance and regrets.

Why did she have sex with Samuel?

Samuel didn't explain why he divorced her. How could she sleep with him after drinking?

Samuel had a terrible headache. She saw a cup of sober tea on the table with a scribbled note from

Samuel.

"Drink the tea. The headache can be relieved a little. There is porridge in the pot good for your

stomach. Eat some. I'm busy and can't stay with you."

Samuel's heart ached.

This was supposed to be her sweet husband. Why were they in an awkward relationship now?

Nicole didn't know what kind of mood she was when drinking the tea.

She shook her head and drank the rest of the tea to get better.

Samuel indeed understood her very well.

Nicole was extremely hungry. She went to the kitchen and found out that Samuel made four dishes and

one soup, along with millet porridge.

She ate the millet porridge and put the rest dishes in the fridge.

Nicole turned on her phone and checked her Twitter account. She saw the news that Olivia would

participate in the tryout for the singing contest.

She knew that this was Olivia's first step into the music world.

Regardless of her final place, her debut was just around the corner, as long as she participated and the

publicity rate increased. She trusted Olivia's singing talent.

Samuel felt relieved.

"Olivia, congratulations. Do your best. I will go to the scene to support you."

Samuel sent a message to Olivia.

At present, Olivia was busier than her, so Nicole often failed to get through to her. She could only leave

a message and waited for Olivia to reply when she saw it.

Nicole washed her face and got changed. Daisy called her then.

"Ms. Bush, there's a celebrity who wants to contract with our company. I called to discuss the matter

with you."

"It's up to you. Sign with those who can be trusted and believe in their ability. You can decide."

Nicole had absolute trust in Daisy, even though she knew that Daisy was sent by Samuel to help her.

Daisy felt touched but still whispered, "Ms. Bush, who wants to sign a contract with us is Zayn

Freeman."

Nicole paused for a moment.

Zayn was a movie star with a mysterious background. He had his own manager and many resources

since his debut, only publicly announcing to be an actor of Wyatt Pictures. There was no need for him

to sign a contract with any filmmaking company, let alone a small company like hers.

Now Zayn suddenly wanted to contract with her company. Nicole indeed felt stunned.

What exactly was going on?

Was Samuel secretly helping her?
