“Don’t worry, Lucas is with his mother, he is gonna be fine. But anyway, thank you for that, Yasmeen.”

“Don’t mention it, Mr. Green. I also hope Lucas is safe. My sister told me that she keeps trying to locate

the signal, and will inform us once she gets any news.”

What Yasmeen said really gratified Samuel.

Tim had a look at the map, frowning and said, “I know this place, it’s Martin Close’s old mansion, and

Evelyn is also there.”

Samuel looked up right away, staring at Tim, and said, “Are you sure?”

“Yes, I had been there, I am not going to lie to you. Maybe it’s because of our blood relationship, he

allowed me to enter his old mansion. It is said that very few people have the qualification to enter in.”

Tim’s lips rose, appearing a sarcastic look.

Relatives he hated always disgusted him, and hurt relatives he loved and tried to protect.

Sometimes Tim felt confused and didn’t know what role he should play among them. But now, when

Martin decided to hurt Evelyn, he knew what to do.

Samuel was a little worried.

“Are Nicole and Lucas gonna be alright?”

“Sure, if I wasn’t wrong, he detained Nicole and Lucas for threatening me. After all, I care about Nicole

the most, and you are her husband. The Green family will stop him from many things that he wants to

do, and besides, the Don family and the Shaw family will also stop him. Only when Nicole, the key

person, is controlled, can he have the chance to bargain with these families. What a good move he is

taking now.”

Tim laughed grimly. He badly disliked what Martin was playing.

In fact, Samuel thought it the same way, and the reason why he asked Tim was to confirm it.

When did he become so cautious?

Samuel had a forced smile, and asked them to get in the car. Yasmeen wanted to get in as well, but

was stopped by Samuel.

“Mr. Green, please let me be part of it.”

“Yasmeen, you are special, and shouldn’t be involved. And if you are in danger, your parents will blame

it on me. Lucas is my son, trust me, I will bring him back safely.”

“Fine.”

Yasmeen was worried, but she suppressed her impulsion, because after two years of royal study, she

became mature and restrained, which made her more of a lady of a family.

Samuel looked at her, nodding approvingly, and sent people to escort her back.

When Tim arrived at the old mansion of Martin with Samuel, Martin didn’t feel surprised.

At the sight of Tim, Martin was thinking of Martha Close.

Thinking of his daughter, Martha Close, Martin stared blankly. Martha was supposed to be taken very

good care of, but she died alone at last, and Martin didn’t even go and see her when she was dead.

He was more of a selfish man than a ruthless father.

Martin stared down, trying to restrain his emotion.

Tim was blocked by several body guards after he entered into the mansion, and he kicked them away

one by one.

“Fuck off! Don’t you know who I am? How dare you? Ask the old man inside, does he allow you to

block me?”

Tim acted pretty aggressively.

Martin cured his eyebrow slightly, and waved his hand. And then, Tim and his people swaggered

inside.

“Where is my sister?”

Tim snapped disrespectfully.

The way Tim talked to Martin irritated him, because no one, even his grandsons, would talk to him so

disrespectfully like that for years. Martin glared at him, and tried not to be pissed off, for the sake that

he was Martha’s son.

“How dare you? Don’t you know how to show your respect?”

“Show respect to you? No way!”

Tim didn’t repress his anger and hatred, which surprised Samuel. Samuel thought Tim would be soft-

spoken and submissive, in order to save Evelyn. But it turned out that he wasn’t.

Martin had a bad temper. And now he was treated so impolitely by Tim, he was furious.

“How cheeky you are!”

“Fuck you! Who the hell are you? Don’t put on airs before me, I won’t buy it. Never think I will show you

my respect because I have your blood in my vein, it really disgusts me!”

Tim had no intention to stop provoking Martin, who now was in a violent rage.

“If you dare to disrespect me again, I will…”

“Come on, right here, kill me. When I am dead, I will have the chance to tell my mom in the hell that

how merciless you are, to kill your grandson. But whatever, you are already a heartless man, you care

nothing about your daughter’s death, how could it be possible you care your grandson’s life?

Otherwise, how come you poisoned my wife?”

Tim was furious, his eyes wide opened, thinking of the bugs poisoned in his wife.

“You poisoned her with bugs right after she miscarried. I wondered why Evelyn, an optimistic person,

would get depressed. Although I wasn’t with her when she needed me, it was impossible to make her

depressed. The only reason was that she was deluded and poisoned. I never thought that it was you

who poisoned her with bugs. Bugs can hallucinate her, and make her believe that the illusions were

true, and it tortures her day and night. If I didn’t make up my mind timely to travel with her abroad to

have a relaxation, and keep her away from Nicole and others, I guess now Evelyn was dead or had

Nicole murdered because of your torment, right? Are you a demon? Do you have a heart? You

motherfucker have no pity? Why are you so inhumane?”

“Shut up!”

Quivering with rage, Martin threw the ashtray before him to Tim.

Tim dodged it away easily, and sneered, “You are not young anymore, you need to admit it, old man.

You are over seventy already, but you still have a bad temper, how come you didn’t suffer a brain

infarction? You are very lucky, otherwise, a man so evil like you should have been killed already.”

Samuel was openmouthed, watching Tim insulting Martin.

It seemed that Tim had been pretty kind to him, or he would have suffered from the same anger before.

Martin knew there was grievance and hatred deep down Tim’s heart, but he didn’t expect that Tim

would react so meanly.

How come he was the son of Martha Close?

How could it be possible that a woman so virtuous and well-mannered like his daughter would have a

son so mean and indifferent like Tim? It was all Ballard Louis’s fault! Tim inherited his mean

character!
