A smile crept onto Elvis' lips.
"He's here. I will go to pick up my son."
Elvis was a little nervous and excited. What he cared about the most was Gerry. This obedient son
always made him feel powerful.
Now that Gerry came back, he no longer had any worries.
"Have our people prepare. We'll leave soon after picking up Gerry. Is the helicopter ready?"
Elvis quickly packed up his things.
Petty knew that he did not intend to take her with him. Perhaps the moment he picked up Gerry, Elvis
would kill her and Zac.
That was good. She wouldn't have any regrets if she could die with Zac.
Petty kept silent, trying her best not to be noticed.
Elvis glanced at her and said coldly, "Stay in this room and be obedient. Perhaps I won't hurt him,
otherwise..."
"I see. You don't have to threaten me all the time. I'm more eager than anyone else to see Zac is fine.
He is my husband!"
This was the first time Petty looked at Elvis so directly and seriously.
Although this man was her father and had given her life, she really felt a little humiliated.
When Elvis saw Petty's eyes that were similar to her mother's, he said impatiently, "Anyway, just be
obedient."
After saying that, he opened the room and walked out.
After Zac drove in, he stood alone in the courtyard and looked around. This was an isolated
quadrangle. There was no one living in the surrounding mountains.
Elvis chose this place to prepare for his escape.
Zac looked into the distance and found the helicopter.
His eyes narrowed slightly and then he calmed down again.
When Elvis came out, he felt that Zac was not simple.
"You came alone?"
"Isn't this what you asked? Where's my wife?"
Zac only cared about Petty now.
Elvis took a look. Zac's people were probably stopped by those from the detention center. So he was
not worried at all.
He waved his hand and someone went to the room to bring Petty out.
"Zac, are you stupid? Why did you come here?"
Petty's eyes turned red.
Although they were not separated for a long time, too many things had happened during this period. So
she didn't know what to talk to Zac.
Originally, she thought that Zac would kill her for Samuel, but she didn't expect that this idiot would
knock her out and let her leave the Seapolis City. He had even taken on those things for her. Now,
before she could say anything to Zac, he was implicated in this jail delivery.
Jail delivery!
What a big crime in today's world.
Even if Elvis would let them go, Zac's life would be ruined.
In the future, he would have a criminal record, and he might even be arrested, and she was the one
who caused all of this.
How couldn't Zac know what Petty was thinking about? Seeing that Petty was safe, Zac finally smiled.
"It's good to see that you're fine."
"You're an idiot!"
Petty cried.
This stubborn woman only cried for Zac and her mother. Unfortunately, she could not protect them.
Elvis was very satisfied with the deep affection between them. He pulled Petty over and wrapped her in
his arms. He coldly looked at Zac and said, "Where is my son?"
"He is in the car, but I need Petty to come over first."
Zac's request made Elvis a little unhappy.
"What qualifications do you have to negotiate with me?"
"I don't have the qualifications, but Gerry is in my hands. So I have to seek some benefits for myself,
right? There are so many people here. Even if Petty comes over, we only have two people. Are you
afraid that these people can't stop us?"
Zac used a provocative method.
Elvis knew it, but he didn't care.
"Alright. My daughter is worried about you. Given that you are good to my daughter, I agree your
request. However, you'd better not play any trick. You know, they are all my people. It's easy for me to
kill you."
Zac didn't say anything, but his attitude was firm.
Elvis was very angry, but because of Gerry, he could only endure.
He looked at Petty and said coldly, "You know what to do. You'd better not to play tricks. Otherwise..."
"Apart from threatening me, can you give me some care?"
Petty looked at Elvis. Although she knew that it was an extravagant wish, she still said it out loud.
Elvis turned his face away when he saw the anticipation in his daughter's eyes.
"Just go and send back my son."
Petty's heart was hurt again.
She shouldn't have expected anything and asked such a stupid question. In Elvis' heart, only Gerry
was his son.
"Petty, come here."
Zac gave his hand to Petty.
Looking at the man in front of her who treated her wholeheartedly, Petty suddenly felt relieved. So what
if her father did not care about her? She had the best man in the world.
Petty walked towards Zac step by step.
Zac looked at her firmly and warmly. It made Petty feel that she could still be alive.
As Petty approached, Zac's hands became moist.
He grabbed Petty and pulled her into his arms.
"You're good at making trouble!"
Zac shouted as he pulled Petty behind him. His protection toward her made Petty's eyes wet again.
"Zac, I'm sorry."
"Don't talk nonsense. I'm here to take you home. Nicole is waiting for us at home."
Zac said in a low voice so that only they two could hear it clearly, but Petty was slightly stunned.
Nicole?
Her mind acted rapidly, then she suddenly realized who Nicole was. She was slightly surprised.
When Elvis saw Petty arrive, he said coldly, "My daughter was already there. You can release my son
now."
"Sure, come and pick him up yourself. He was punished in the detention center, and he can't get down
by himself. I don't have the obligation to carry your son."
Zac's words made Elvis nervous.
"What did you say? He was hurt? Who dares? That's outrageous!"
Elvis hurriedly walked over.
Zac leaned to the side and whispered to Petty, "Get in the car at the right time. Here is the key."
Petty was stunned again, but she was a little nervous.
"What about you?"
"I'll leave as soon as you drive."
Zac gave Petty the key.
Holding the car key, Petty was a little excited.
Elvis quickly walked to the van and pulled open the door.
Suddenly, an unknown powder sprayed out from inside and directly got into Elvis' eyes.
"My eyes!" He screamed.
Elvis felt that his eyes were burning, and he couldn't see anything clearly.
"Damn it! Zac, how dare you scheme against me? Kill him for me!"
Elvis shouted angrily, but someone grabbed his arm and instantly broke it.
Gerry was not in the car. But more than ten bodyguards of the Green family rushed out. Before Elvis
and his people could react, the guards directly shot them with their air guns.
The power of the ballistic bombs was too strong. Many people fell to the ground after being shot, and
then the remaining ones were directly tied up.
Zac hurriedly pushed Petty and whispered, "Get in the car. Go!"
Petty knew that this was the best time for them to leave. She suddenly jumped onto the driver's seat
and started the car. Then she opened the door next to the passenger seat.
"Zac, get in the car!"
"You go first!"
Zac glanced at her as he closed the car door. Then he turned around to deal with Elvis' people.
Petty finally realized that Zac did not plan to leave with her. He wanted to capture Elvis and his people
in one go.
She suddenly didn't know what to do.
At this moment, someone opened the door of the van.
Petty suddenly turned around and saw Laurence standing in front of her.
"Laurence? You..."
"Mrs. Green asked me to take you home!"
Laurence pushed Petty to the passenger seat. Then, he got in the car and drove downhill quickly.
Petty said nervously, "Zac..."
"Someone is there to help him. Don't worry, the people sent by Mrs. Green have already arrived."
As he spoke, a few police cars roared over.
Petty was in a trance.
Was this Nicole's scheme?
Did she want to catch Elvis?
Although she knew that Elvis deserved it, Petty still felt very uncomfortable.
Elvis was infuriated after knowing that Zac schemed against him. He couldn't still open his eyes. He
knew that he had been tricked, so he didn't care about his eyes and the others. Taking advantage of
the crowd, he suddenly knocked off the person guarding him and ran down the mountain.
"Elvis has escaped! Hurry up and catch him!"
Someone shouted.
Zac immediately turned around and rushed towards Elvis.
There was a deep feud between Elvis and him, so he would never let Elvis leave.
Nicole once said that Elvis' main power was at abroad. If he really ran away, it would be difficult to
catch him again in the future.
When Zac came towards Elvis, Petty also opened the car door to get off, but she saw the hatred in
Zac's eyes.
Petty suddenly stopped.
She knew the grudge between Zac and Elvis. Elvis had told her about that. As Petty saw that Zac
wanted to kill Elvis, she hesitated.
Should she save Elvis?
This thought flashed through her mind. Finally, she closed the car door and sat back in her seat with
tears dropping from her eyes.
Every debt should be paid off at the end, shouldn't it?
Elvis slammed his head into the van and tried to open the door. Petty looked at him and hurriedly
locked the car door.
No matter how powerful the man used to be, he now appeared in front of her like a stray dog.
Unfortunately, he could not arouse her sympathy and pity.
"Father, goodbye."
Petty whispered.
The sound insulation of the van was not good. After hearing this, Elvis suddenly paused, as if he
realized something. He crazily kicked the car door, but he could not kick it open.
