Chapter 1641 You thought I Did It

Morty had to thank Lucas.

Samuel’s son was such a fine person.

“It’ll be better if Lucas becomes my son-in-law,” Morty was fantasizing.

Lucas and Michele didn’t know what the adults were thinking at all. Soon, they tracked the other

hacker.

Lucas knew who that was almost immediately.

The trace was so familiar. It looked like Silver Fox’s trace.

Silver Fox was covering for Lucas? Did he know what happened just now?

If Silver Fox knew it, could Lucas’ father be the reason why he didn’t stop it?

Lucas was deep in thoughts. He typed quickly, and soon, Silver Fox smiled on the other side of the

screen.

“This kid. Is he using codes to send me a message?”

The meaning of the code was: It’s alright. It’s safe to leave now.

Silver Fox then start to clean up the remaining part of the task.

Michele suddenly became nervous, “Lucas, it’s getting away.”

“Go after it.”

As Lucas commanded, Michele quickly changed the codes.

Aron didn’t understand what was going on, but he knew it was a critical moment. He got closer to

Michele subconsciously.

“Can you trace their location?”

Michele was stunned. She was uncomfortable as she could smell the sandalwood scent on Aron.

Grandpa got too close.

But Michele replied to Aron quickly, “I suppose. But they are tricky and skilled.”

“It’s alright. You’re also skilled.”

Aron raised his brows when he heard Lucas praised Michele.

Rumour had it that Lucas was an arrogant person. Of course, Lucas had every right to be arrogant, but

Aron didn’t expect to hear him praise Michele.

Furthermore, he had heard that Lucas had taken great care of Michele in training.

So…

Aron squinted his eyes.

If Lucas and Michele got married, there will be nothing to worry about in the future.

Aron smiled when he thought of the possible future.

No one knows a man better than his father.

Morty knew what Aron was thinking. However, he wasn’t really happy even if Aron and Morty thought

the same thing.

Morty wanted Lucas to be his son-in-law because Morty loved Michele and he wanted to give Michele

the best person. It wasn’t anything Aron was thinking.

Would people change once they were in that position?

Morty was uncertain. He felt disgusted.

However, he knew that Michele, Molly and him wouldn’t be alive if he didn’t get his position.

Morty was born in a family like this. He had no choice.

Sorrow flashed in Morty’s eyes.

Lucas and Michele cooperated well, and they found the IP address in the end. However, their computer

screen blacked out.

“What happened?”

“He went offline, but we’ve found his address.”

“Where?”

“531.”

Aron was furious when he heard the address Lucas told him.

“What do this ‘531’ want? I’ve sent people to talk to him many times, hoping that they would collaborate

with us. And now they hacked our security system? Did we lose any files?”

“No, there’re firewall on the documents. They didn’t get to get over the firewall.”

Michele said quickly.

Her palms were sweating.

Michele could ’t let Aron know that Lucas was involved in it.

Michele looked wimpy as she was nervous and restless.

Aron was disgusted with the wimpy look on Michele.

“You have to be brave to say anything as a child from the Hill family. Look at you now. You look like a

wimp. You’re the young Madame of the Hill family, not an ordinary people. Raise your head.”

What Aron said was proof that he recognized Michele as a family member.

Morty had been working so hard since he came back for Aron’s recognition. However, Aron never gave

him hope before, but now he recognized Michele as the young Madame of the Hill family because of

her skills as a hacker. What an irony.

Morty smiled lightly and gave Aron an ironic glance.

Aron noticed how Morty glanced at him, but what could he do?

Michele was talented, and she was blood-related to the Hill family. Aron had to recognize her.

After all, the Hill family wasn’t just any ordinary people.

Aron sighed. He waved his hand and asked Lucas to lead Michele out. Only Morty was asked to stay

behind.

Morty remained silent and stood still. He looked sulky.

“I know you didn’t like it, but there are many things to take into account. You’ll understand what I mean

when you’re at my place. Get ready for a banquet to announce Michele’s identity.”

Aron softened his tone.

“Only Michele? What about your daughter-in-law?”

Morty sounded harsh. A heartache attacked Aron as he was furious about what Morty said.

“Will you listen if I say I won’t recognize her?”

“So, I can decide my own wedding?”

“Get lost!”

Aron didn’t give Morty exact permission, but Morty knew he succeeded.

Morty smiled.

“Thank you, father.”

Morty hadn’t called Aron ‘father’ for many years. But since when was it?

If Aron wasn’t mistaken, Morty started calling him Mr. Hill when something happened to Morty in the

army, and Aron didn’t help him out.

Aron finally heard Morty call him ‘father’ after so many years. His eyes turned red.

“Get lost, now!”

Aron had been sitting in a high position for so long. He didn’t want people to see him being weak, so he

turned around quickly.

However, Morty didn’t leave. Instead, he asked Aron softly, “Father, we’re blood-related. Now, can you

please tell me the truth if you’re involved in Eaton’s disappearance?”

Aron was startle, “Who? Who went missing?”

“Eaton, the youngest child of Samuel and Nicole. He was born with a pair of blue eyes. You’ve watched

him for quite some time.”

Aron frowned.

“That child went missing?”

Aron didn’t look pretentious. He didn’t know?

“Father, don’t fake it. You’ve been watching the Green family. You must know about it.”

Morty revealed what he wanted to say. A complicated emotion flashed under Aron’s eyes. Aron said

softly, “You think I did it?”

“I didn’t, but I have to be open to possibilities. If you did it, please, let him go. A child isn’t worth so

much of your attention.”

Morty sounded respectful. Aron was surprised by Morty’s attitude. After all, Morty was always the rebel.

As a matter of fact, Aron was a little sad because of Morty’s guess.

“If you think I’m involved, then he had succeeded.”

“He? Who?”

Morty was stunned.

Aron had someone that he couldn’t do anything to?
