Nicole couldn't help but recall Finn's broken arms and legs.
She had seen Finn as her friend. She trusted him with all her heart. However, they ended up with
betrayal. And Finn was very pitiful.
Nicole said nothing. She got a lot going on.
Jacob did not rush her and waited patiently.
After a long time, Nicole said.
"How is he now?"
"His arms are well, but his legs are crippled. He could only sit in a wheelchair."
Nicole felt worse for Finn.

Nicole took a deep breath and tidied up the wedding dress. She was so happy that it was prepared for
her by Samuel.
Then she took a few things out from the storage room and drove to the hospital.
Evelyn was feeding Tim. Seeing Nicole, Evelyn smiled and stood up.
"Nicole! Come and sit down."
Nicole looked at Tim, all judgy. Then she said, "I remember that you hurt your leg. Now you can't even
use your hands?"
Evelyn flushed.
But Tim was not affected. "You have a problem with our love?"

"Tim, pull yourself together, okay? If Grandpa said that you are his grandson, then you are. Besides,
we share the same grandmother! She married my grandpa. So, don't think too much. Oh, Grandpa
thought that your father is unreliable, so he will be in charge of your wedding. You're unhappy about
that?"
Nicole knew that Tim was happy and grateful. She also knew that he felt awkward. She could only
comfort him by pretending to be tough.
Tim was really touched.
"No! I'm very satisfied."
"Then you should take good care of yourself and leave the hospital as soon as possible for your
wedding. Don't think about having me do it. I'm going on a trip with Samuel. I don't want to miss that,
okay?"
Tim just smiled.
Evelyn looked at Nicole and said gratefully, "Thank you, Nicole. If it weren't for you, I might not have got
together with Tim."
"You're the only woman who likes him and insists on marrying him. If he were unkind to you, tell me
and I'll kick his ass."
Nicole held Evelyn's hand.
Evelyn was a strong woman, but Nicole could tell that Evelyn was very nice to Tim. He was so lucky.
"Alright, I have something to do. I have to go now."
"I'll walk you to the door."
Nicole waved at Tim and walked out of the ward with Evelyn.
"Alright, Evelyn, you can go back. Tim seems fine. You should prepare your wedding dress or
something."

She glanced at the ward and made sure that Tim wasn't paying attention to them. Then she asked
softly, "I heard that Fernanda caused trouble for you at your company?"
"Don't worry. She can't hurt me. Samuel sent her to jail. She's not a threat."
Nicole was very happy that Evelyn cared about her.
"You don't want Tim to know it?"
Nicole twitched her mouth.
Evelyn sighed. "Fernanda pretends to be obedient in front of men, so they are all like her. I don't want
to quarrel with Tim. So, I just wanna shun her. It's not worth it to quarrel with my husband over such a
scheming woman."
Evelyn was an opinionated woman and knew what she was doing. Most importantly, she was good to
Tim. So, Nicole was getting more satisfied with Evelyn.
"Don't worry. I'll handle it. Even if I kill Fernanda, Tim would do nothing to me."
Evelyn finally smiled.
"Yeah, you're right."
"And that's your credit."
Nicole was joking.
"Okay, that's enough. You look worried. Is there anything wrong? I'm not as powerful as Mr. Green, but
I can help you with some things. We are a family now. Tim loves you, and so do I. You're my little sister.
If anything happens, just come to me. I will help you no matter what it takes. "
Evelyn was very thoughtful.
Nicole paused, thought for a moment and said, "Yeah. There is one thing that I need your help."
"Go ahead."
"I want to take Dominic down. But he has business dealings with your father. I...."
Nicole had just found out about this.
Laurence failed to cause trouble for Dominic, because Dominic had large maritime trade. Then
Laurence found out that Dominic had cooperated with the Masons after investigating.
Evelyn smiled.
"Dominic? My family is the overlord of the sea, and we don't lack partners. Don't worry. I'll go back to
find my father now. Wait for me. I promise that my father will dissolve the partnership in an hour."
Nicole was stunned.
The cooperation between the Masons and Dominic had been going on for many years, and their
interests were entangled. The Masons had to pay a large sum of money to dissolve the partnership.
Most importantly, Evelyn's father Mr. Ethan Mason might not be willing to offend Dominic.
