Fernanda gave a smile of satisfaction.
She finally did something for Tim.
She thought that if she died, Tim might remember her.
Even if Tim hated her, such an end might be impressed on Tim's memory.
How could Evelyn be compared with a dead person?
Fernanda died for Tim.
Fernanda was in a lot of pain, and blood kept pouring out of the cuts. She could feel that she was
dying, but she also felt at ease that she never had felt before.
Now, she didn't have to work day and night for her paralyzed mother or be controlled by someone else.
She would be impressed on her beloved man's heart. Would he miss the days with her?
Fernanda smiled and closed her eyes.
Fernanda always knew that for Martha, Fernanda was just someone who worked for her. Fernanda's
death wouldn't matter to her.
However, all Fernanda wanted was that Tim would fall in love with her and never forget her.
Seeing Fernanda slowly fell to the ground, Tim felt a little sad.
So what?
He didn't have affection for Fernanda at all, not to mention that Fernanda had conspired with Viola to
hurt Nicole.
It was inexcusable to him.
So, it didn't matter if she died for him.
It was her choice.
You could say that Tim was cold or indifferent. Like Martha, He wouldn't get too attached to anyone
whom he didn't care about.
If the person who was dying today were Evelyn, Tim would probably kill everyone here to vent his
anger.
Knocked over by Fernanda, the mercenary moved much slower.
Then, Tim just ran away.
Everyone was surprised.
Perhaps they didn't expect Tim to escape or be so cold and unmoved when facing Fernanda's death.
Anyway, Tim escaped.
Tim got in the car and drove it to the Green's.
He was a mess, but he didn't care.
Because of Tim's arrival, Samuel got up.
"Why are you here?"
His voice was a bit hoarse, and his stubble showed that he was worried and haggard. Seeing his red
eyes, Tim felt awful.
"Nicole is not doing okay?"
Tim's voice trembled.
Samuel nodded with a grave face.
"Nicole is blind."
Tim remembered what Fernanda had said, and his hands were shivering.
"She's...."
"Asleep."
Samuel asked someone to serve Tim a glass of water, but Tim refused.
"I'm here to tell you that the one who gave Viola the poison was Fernanda. She worked for my mother
Martha."
Samuel squinted.
"Fernanda?"
"That's right. Although I don't know when she escaped from you, it was she who gave Viola the poison.
Evelyn made an investigation."
As Martha's son, Tim wished not to have such a mother.
A hint of coldness flashed through Samuel's eyes.
"I'll kill Fernanda."
"She's already dead. Just now."
Then, Tim told Samuel what happened.
Samuel felt that it was too good for Fernanda. However, the major problem was still unsolved.
What kind of poison it was?
That was something that everyone wanted to know.
Then, something crossed Samuel's mind.
"You said that Fernanda worked for Martha?"
"Yes."
Tim felt depressed.
Martha kept hurting the people whom he liked and cared about. Was he not important to Martha?
Samuel frowned.
"Viola said that the poison was given by someone who works for Major."
Hearing it, Tim paused for a moment. Then, they exchanged a glance, realizing something.
Martha and Major allied with each other!
Both Tim and Samuel looked serious.
Back then, Martha was saved by her biological father and escaped abroad, so the people of the military
couldn't arrest her. So did Major.
They were two powerful bastards.
Now they were allies. Samuel realized that it was not simple.
Tim hesitated for a while before whispering, "Martha came to see me a few days ago and wanted to
see Evelyn. It can be about the Mason family's sea route, or there may be something else."
Samuel was not surprised and said with indifference, "We knew about it when you came into contact
with Martha. And Evelyn was also at the airport's restaurant."
Tim didn't expect that.
In the past few days, he never told it to Evelyn, and he sent some persons to protect Evelyn and Ethan.
Why didn't he tell it to Evelyn?
Maybe he was afraid.
He was afraid that Evelyn knew that she had such an evil mother-in-law and stopped loving him. He
didn't expect that Evelyn had known about it.
Tim realized that he had such deep feelings for Evelyn now.
When thinking that he might lose Evelyn, he was dying inside.
"I thought I was the only one who knew it. It turns out that you all know. Sorry. I didn't handle Martha
properly, putting Nicole into such a dangerous situation."
Tim was upset and guilty.
If it were in the past, Samuel would blame Tim. However, he knew that Tim was the person whom
Nicole cared about the most now, and Martha was Tim's mother, he could understand why Tim was
softened.
Besides, Tim had been longing for his mother since he was a child. It was difficult for him already.
Samuel patted Tim on the shoulder and whispered, "Go take a look at Nicole."
"Okay."
Tim nodded and walked upstairs.
And Samuel went to the study to make some phone calls.
Martha and Major were allies now. He had to inform everyone.
Tim came to Nicole.
Because of being poisoned, Nicole looked pale.
Tim was sad.
"Nicole, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be so indecisive. I thought she would change."
Tim couldn't feel sadder.
Nicole moved her fingers. Then, she opened her eyes.
"Nicole, are you awake?"
Tim stepped forward and held her hand.
He was afraid!
He was afraid that Nicole would ask him why she couldn't see anything.
He was afraid that Nicole's beautiful eyes would no longer gleam.
But he couldn't avoid it.
Nicole felt tired and famished.
She turned around and saw Tim's worried, guilty face.
"Tim? Why are you here? Because I'm ill?"
She smiled brightly, and Tim felt shocked.
"You can see me?"
"Why can't I? I'm not blind."
Nicole thought that Tim looked funny.
Tim looked at Nicole in disbelief and waved his hand in front of Nicole's bright eyes.
"What are you doing?"
Nicole felt puzzled, so she just slapped Tim's face.
Her hand was exactly on Tim's face, which brought tears to Tim's eyes.
"Samuel, Samuel!"
He rushed out, which confused Nicole.
'What's wrong with him?'
Hearing Tim's voice, Samuel quickly walked out.
"What's wrong? Is it Nicole?"
Samuel was worried.
Tim said with mixed feelings, "Nicole can see! She can see!"
"What?"
Samuel ran to the bedroom, seeing Nicole standing beside the bed and stretching.
"Nicole?"
Samuel was afraid that it was a dream, so he said in a low voice.
Hearing the sound, Nicole turned around. And Samuel just rushed over and hugged her.
"You scared me."
Samuel was shivering.
Nicole remembered that she had caught a fever, so she patted Samuel and said with a smile, "I'm okay
now."
"Really?"
Samuel let go of Nicole and saw himself being worried in her eyes. It seemed that there was nothing
wrong with her eyes.
"What's wrong with you?"
Nicole never knew that she had been blind.
"Nothing. I'm glad you are okay."
Samuel hugged her tightly again.
He was so happy for Nicole that tears filled his eyes.
Seeing this, Tim quietly left the room and went get Ashley and Gabrielle.
They were shocked again when hearing that Nicole could see.
Nicole recovered from both the fever and the blindness without medicines. What on earth was going
on?
It was weird.
They couldn't help but exchanged a glance. Then, they walked into the bedroom. Not noticing Samuel
and Nicole were in the middle of something, they just dragged Nicole over for a comprehensive
examination.
The results were the same as last time.
Nicole was healthy!
She fully recovered!
How could it be?
Ashley and Gabrielle looked serious.
Even Nicole, who was unconscious during her episode, knew that something went wrong with her.
"Why are you so serious? Could anyone tell me what happened?"
Everyone turned their eyes upon Nicole, and then they looked at Samuel.
Samuel took a deep breath. Knowing that there was no way to hide it from Nicole, he told Nicole
everything.
Nicole listened quietly. Learning what happened, she had mixed feelings.
'Viola.'
'She just lay in the bed she had made.'
'Does she hate me so much that she wants me to die?'
'Why did she stab me in the back?'
'Does she not care at all?'
