'Viola?'

Nicole thought she was mistaken.

She checked her watch. It was half past five in the afternoon,

Didn't she say she would arrive at eight p.m.?

Why did she get here so much earlier?

And she didn't seem to see Mike.

Did something happen?

Nicole was thinking a lot.

However, she absolutely could not let Viola slip away.

Otherwise, her plans would fail.

However, Emory's men haven't arrived yet. They would arrive at six o'clock and there was still half an

hour away.

Half an hour would be enough for Viola to do what she had planned to and leave.

Nicole frowned tightly.

It was true that plans, however meticulous they were, could never keep up with changes.

But Nicole had no more time to consider.

Viola took out her phone and started calling. It seemed that she had schemed with Dominic in advance.

Perhaps Mike was under their control.

Nicole frowned slightly. She quickly put on her hat and walked out of the lounge.

Just as Viola got through to Dominic, she was bumped by a woman wearing a cap and her phone fell to

the ground.

"Are you blind?"

Viola was instantly enraged.

Nicole glanced at the phone and found that she was actually calling Dominic.

She smiled, but she lowered her cap and said, "Sorry."

Nicole kept her voice low. She was about to leave, but Viola grabbed her arm.

"You bumped into me and smashed my phone. Do you think you can just get away with a 'sorry'? I'm

not that nice."

Viola was no less arrogant even after what she had experienced not long ago. Instead, she was more

aggressive because of Dominic's being in the Seapolis City.

Nicole sneered. Then, she abruptly took out from her sleeves the syringe that Ashley had given her to

defend herself and moved towards Viola with lightning speed.

"Then what are you going to do?"

Nicole raised her head slightly.

Viola was shocked. Before she could shout, she was injected by Nicole.

"Look at you! You still get airsick at such an age. Let me walk you to the lounge."

As Nicole spoke, she helped Viola, who had fainted, to Steven's lounge.

When Nicole was back, her entire back was drenched.

Luckily, the police had dispersed Dominic's men earlier. Otherwise, she really didn't know what to do

with her move on the spur of the moment.

However, she couldn't take Viola out right now, because Dominic's people would definitely be

ambushing outside.

Nicole's mind was quick, calculating.

'What should I do?'

Mike was the one Samuel cared the most. Mike had saved her life abroad. Although he was so stupid

that he fell in love with Viola, Nicole felt that he was not so guilty that he should die.

She worried about Mike. What would Dominic do to him?

Right now, she could only wait for Emory and his men to arrive and went out with them. However, it

was only 5:45 p.m., and there were still 15 minutes to go before they could arrive. However, Nicole did

not know how long this tranquilizer would keep effective.

Just in case that Viola regained her senses too early, Nicole found a rope and tied her up firmly.

And she stuffed a towel into her mouth.

After all these, it was finally near six o'clock.

Footsteps came from outside.

"Mrs. Green, I'm Commander Emory's messenger. He asked me to bring you clothes."

Nicole hurriedly opened the door.

The messenger was seventeen year old or so, and very energetic.

He handed the bag in his hand to Nicole and whispered, "It seems that the people outside are

unidentified. Commander said that you must not take a French leave. Wait for him to come."

"I've made my move."

Nicole smiled bitterly.

The correspondent was slightly stunned.

Nicole briefly told the story, and the correspondent immediately called Emory.

"Commander said that you wait here. He'll be right over."

"Okay."

Nicole was finally relieved a bit.

Emory arrived very soon, followed by a group of people.

They were all dressed in uniform, very eye-catching.

Nicole quickly changed her clothes and took Viola out.

"Emory."

"Leave her to them. You follow me out of the airport."

Emory didn't bring many people, but Nicole could tell that the ones present were well-trained.

The group walked out of the airport. It was eye-catching.

Nicole and the others got in the car, and Emory glanced at the building opposite the airport before

getting in.

Dominic's men frowned slightly.

"Mr. Dominic, the army is picking up criminals extradited from abroad today. Judging from Emory's

gaze, there may be snipers here."

Dominic frowned tightly.

He was not sure whether Nicole was with them because the four young masters had a close

relationship. However, he heard that Emory was impartial and never bent the law for personal gain. The

extradition today had been decided a few days ago, so there may not be any problems.

However, Dominic was not at ease anyway.

Viola couldn't be reached. Something must have happened inside.

Right now, he was waiting for Emory's men to leave so that he could hurry in to find Viola.

After getting on the car, Emory said to them, "Pull up at the corner ahead. I have arranged another car

to drive you back to the house safe. Dominic was not an idiot. When he found Viola was not inside, he

would know Viola had been seized by us. Maybe he will hijack our cars and if he really does, I have

countless reasons to shoot him."

Emory was cold when saying these. Nicole was a little unaccustomed.

Human lives seemed very petty to them. But she also knew that Dominic must die if he really dared to

rob a military car--it was a definite violation of the law.

Nicole nodded slightly, her heart heavy.

She couldn't help but think of Samuel.

Samuel used to be one of them. Was his life also so petty on the battlefield?

How fortunate he was if he could return from the battlefield safe and sound.

She unconsciously swallowed.

The car stopped at the corner as Emory arranged. There was another military car.

Nicole and the unconscious Viola got into the military car and were escorted all the way to Edwin's

place.

As soon as they entered, Edwin had Steve untie Viola's rope and lock her up in the guest room.

"Are you alright? When Emory called to tell me about your plan, I felt my heart never beat that fast.

How rash you are! Do you know how dangerous it is?"

Seeing that Nicole had returned safe, Edwin's eyes immediately turned red.

Nicole hugged Edwin and said, "Grandfather, I'm sorry that it worried you. Fortunately, everything went

smoothly."

"Smoothly? If it weren't for Emory, no one knows what have happened to you. If you dare to do this

again, I'll break your leg."

Just as Edwin finished his words, they heard incessant gunshots from outside. Nicole stiffened.

Edwin narrowed his eyes.

"Steve, go take a look. We have long not heard gunshots in the Seapolis City."

"Okay."

As Steve left, Nicole got strained.

Did Dominic risk death in the end?

It was surprising that Viola mattered this much to him.

Viola was blessed to have such a father to protect her.

Nicole's heart was heavy.

Edwin had someone hand her a cup of hot water.

Steve was back half an hour later.

"Commander, Ms. Nicole, Dominic and his men intercepted the military car, in which there were

criminals Mr. Emory had extradited from abroad. This was a blatant jailbreak, and they were armed with

guns and weapons. Dominic exchanged fire with Mr. Emory and was shot to death. It will probably be

reported tomorrow."

As soon as Steve finished speaking, they heard Viola's sharp voice.

"What are you talking about? What happened to my father?"

She quickly ran downstairs, trying to rush out, but was stopped by someone.

"Let go of me! Nicole, tell them to scram! I'm going to kill you! You must pay for my father's death!"

"Stop being impudent!"

Edwin was instantly enraged. A teacup was swept to the ground, making a crisp sound.

Only then did Viola realize that there was an old man in front of her.

Edwin had been in the military for decades. The aura and dignity emanating from him scared her.

"Who ... are you? I will not be scared by your loud voice!"

"He is our grandfather, namely, Mother's father."

Nicole's words stunned Viola once again.

She never knew she had a grandfather.

She had always thought that Audrey was an orphan because she never saw Audrey return to her

mother's home.

"Don't lie to me, I...."

"Stop arguing. What indiscipline. Steve, take her down and punish her to stand at military posture.

Don't let her rest if she doesn't do it well."

Edwin was stern. The fury frightened Viola so much that she dared not argue.

"Grandfather, I want to see my father."

"Your father violated the law, and he deserved the death. There is no need to see him. You are a child

of the Shaws from now on. We have been in the army for generations, and can't afford to be laughed

at. Stay here and give up your tricks. Also, this is the military compound. The guards outside are

armed. If you are not afraid of death, try and go out."

Hearing Edwin's words, Viola was aggrieved, her eyes instantly red.

"Grandfather, I...."

"Steve, take her down."

Before Viola could finish her words, Steve took her away.

Seeing that the matter was solved, Nicole got up and decided to leave, with her heavy heart. She did

not expect the situation to be like this.

Dominic deserved it. What really suppressed her was the fragility of human lives.

Why did so many people risk their lives?

Nicole sighed and excused herself from Edwin. Then she called Laurence.

She wanted to go back to the Green's now, where she could feel Samuel.

However, Laurence did not answer the phone.

Nicole frowned.

Laurence was guarding the entrance of the Green's. 'There wouldn't be any accidents, right?'
