With the wedding over, Sage decided to head back to Salem City with her brothers. Tim
was planning to go with them. He got into his private car. “Tim, are you not planning to visit Yale at Nad
eem City?”
Sage was surprised.
“It‘s not like he‘s unable to move or there are not enough people taking care of him. It‘s good as long as
he‘s alive.”
Tim added flatly, “I have other things to attend to.”
He did not elaborate and left, leaving his brothers and sisters puzzled. Neither of them dared to ask or
say a word. On their ride back to Salem City, Luther was scrolling Sage‘s social media non–
stop. “Damn, Sage, you are really on a whole different level, aren‘t you? You already have over
a thousand comments for the post of Nigel and Sean. They’re all going nuts about how Sean
and Nigel are good–
looking and look good together...holy sh*t, there is even a fan that claimed to be their mother.” Luther pr
essed into the comment and clicked his tongue. “Who is she to think that she can be their mom?”
Sage did not pay much attention to him, nor did she have the time to go on social media. She was alre
ady drowning in her work.
As soon as she got into the car, Seth had passed her a script.
“Have a look at it. Chitose and I worked together on this.”
Chitose was a well–
known scriptwriter, and he had been working together with Seth for quite some time. He was known for
his thriller and suspenseful plots, and he usually aimed for dark themed plots. He was quite a unique pr
esence in the film industry. Some of Seth‘s most acclaimed and praised work was from Chitose‘s produ
ction. Seth, too, was a great script writer himself. His fans had playfully teased that Chitose and him we
re like Bonnie and
Clyde. “You‘re done with the script this fast?” Sage was surprised. Seth threw a glance at Suki and sigh
ed helplessly. “I can‘t even take a break even if I wanted to. She‘s been keeping an eye on me until I fin
ish the script.”
Suki broke into a smile, turned
to look at Sage, and responded, “I‘ve had a look at the script, and I must say that it is well written. I‘m e
xcited about it.”
Sage then went through the script.
Suki had always been working with big shots in the film
industry, and she had always been picky with the scripts. Sage believed that Seth‘s script
might really be a good one since Suki had praised it. Indeed, Sage fell for the plot at first read. While re
ading the script, Sage could not even hear what Luther was saying. She was simply drawn to the thrillin
g and exciting plot. The script was not very long, and it was a short and simple plot.
However, the plot was thrilling and hair–raising, and the characters were well–
written too. Sage found herself unable to calm down after finishing the script.
By the time she finally returned to her senses, Sage was already back in her room in Rosa Garden.
Kane and Luther had already returned to their home, respectively.
Laura followed Kane home to visit Kane‘s parents. Seth and Suki were having coffee in the living room,
footsteps coming down the stairs. Sage was running down the stairs in her house slippers as she yelled
Sage‘s reaction adorable.
Suki had always wanted to be in a movie with Sage. Director Lincoln had even said that it was a waste o
Suki was curious about what a gifted actress would look like.
Sage was the type to get things started right away. She had made an appointment with Director Lincoln
day, Sage, Suki, and Seth all showed up at Chitose‘s house.
