Ross and Kane looked at Luther and nodded their heads at the same time. “Yes, you did.”
The both of them burst into laughter. Luther, “…”
Inwardly, Luther thought to himself, ‘Why am I always the one who ends up being hurt in the end?”
The gathering between Sage and her brothers only came to an end at midnight. By the time they left
the restaurant, all of them were already tipsy and drunk Jim waited for Sage. When Sage came
downstairs and noticed that he was still around, she asked, “Mm? Is that you Jim? What are you still
doing here? Hop in, I’ll give you a ride home.”
“It’s alright, sis. I’ve brought my car.” Holding Sage by her arm, Jim asked, “Are you alright? Why’d you
drink so much?” “Ah, just because!”
Sage pulled into a wide grin as Luther took Sage by her arms. She then waved at Jim and said,” Train
hard, Jim! I’m waiting for the day you become the world’s best player/”
Staring at Sage who walked away from him, Jim clenched his hands tightly together into a fist.
What Jim needed the most was time.

When they arrived at Rosa Garden, Ross went upstairs to check on his daughter. Sage, on the other
hand, checked up on Yeva through Zamora. After hearing that Yeva was well -behaved, she then
nodded. “That’s good to know. It must have been hard for you to keep an eye on her.”
“Why’d you drink so much? i’ll go get some aspirin for you.”
Zamora was worried for them.
Sage smiled and replied, “Thanks, Aunt Zamora. Please get some for Ross too.” As soon as she was
in her room, Sage got a call from overseas. Taking a look at the caller ID, Sage tugged at the corners of
her lips and answered the call. “My dear brother, you’ve finally remembered me.”
On the other end of the phone was a low and hoarse voice. “Mm.”
Removing her pair of heels and the accessories that she wore, Sage laid on her bed and said, “I just
got back from having dinner with the rest. You must have installed CCTV on me, haven’t you? If not,
you wouldn’t have known to call me at such a right time.” “I didn’t,” The man added, “I have eyes at
Rosa Garden.”
Sage paused and sulked, “How could you not let me know beforehand? Besides, it’s not like I would
kick your men out after I find out.” Sage complained and sulked at once. The man on the other end of
the phone asked, “You drank?” “Am I not allowed to?”
Sage complained, “Ross, Kane, and Luther took the chance to get me drunk…oh have you received
the wine that I’ve asked Sean to mail to you?”
Tim Shelby replied, “Yeah.” “Good. Sean paid for it but I was the one who came up with the idea.”
Sage then added, “But what matters more is my sincerity, right?”
A low chuckle was heard from the other end of the phone, “Mm-hm.”
Sage’s eyes slowly closed. Listening to the white noise on the phone, Sage murmured, “I miss you a
lot. When are you coming home…” Her phone eventually slipped out from her hand. Sage fell asleep
but the screen of her phone was still lit up, showing that she was still on a call. The person on the other
end of the phone was yet to hang up. The caller ID showed, (Big Brother)
