In that case, Tim’s relationship with Yale, was like Jace’s relationship with Yoel. They were comrades
who fought on the field together, there was surely a unique bond between them The only difference
was, unlike Jace and Yoel’s plastic friendship, Tim and Yale were related as cousins-in-law too.
No wonder they were both close but awkward.
More or less like, they had complete trust on each other, but because of Cece Yadeev’s death, things
were not the same anymore.
Sometimes fate really fools people around like this. Sage took some time to settle down, and was
ready to live her holidays to the fullest.
Once titled the “Capital of All Businesses”, Birmingham had a lot of attractions. The locals were good at
discovering and developing fun activities. After surviving a near-death experience, Sage was especially
appreciative of the present moment, and to live every second happily. She thought, if she did not have
fun now, then when?
Tim’s work appointments were usually tight, and did not have much time to accompany Sage. However,
Sage, the Princess, totally needed no one by her side. The Shelby’s were a big family. Even though
Tim had no kid or descendants, he had many cousins, and nieces and nephews.
Sage, as an extreme extrovert, and a little linguist, she had no problems mingling around at all. Soon,
she was having fun with all of them.
Every time when Tim checked on her in between his tight schedules, he would always get the same
answer, “We’re having fun.” Except that every time there was a different activity to define “fun”.
There was so much to play with in the Meadow Castle alone.
Tim’s cousin, Robert, was very familiar with the castle. He knew that Sage was interested in antiques,
so he showed her around, and told her about Shelby’s family history.
When the two got bored, they would dig two diamonds off the wall, and sell it at the gemstone market.
Once they cashed out the diamonds, they would then purchase some other antique artifacts from the
market. Sage was a little unhappy that the cultural artifacts of Salem were traded outside the country,
she wanted to bid for all of them no matter how high the price was. Robert had no sentiment like hers,
but was rather supportive to help with shouting of quotations, and calculating money. When they finally
had enough fun in the castle, they would go to Rosa Island, they would swim, play volleyball, barbeque,
etc.
Robert was an internationally famous photographer, he was even the designated photographer of many
high fashion shows. His skills were impeccable, and so Sage became his unique foreign model.
When Sage shared her sexy and high-fashion worthy photos to the group with her brothers, the
brothers could no longer sit still.
Kane said, “What the hell is this, Sage? Are you crazy?”
Seth said, “They are pretty, but my dear sister, don’t you think they were a little too… Revealing?” Nigel
said, “Sage, you better behave yourself, even if you’re in another country.” Luther said, “Oh my God,
my eyes! Sage, are you crazy? You were wearing a bikini? Might as well not wear anything?” Laura
and Leah were the complete opposites though. Laura said, “You slay, girl! Look at these killer legs, I am
simping!” Leah said, “Dayum girl! You are smoking hot! A thousand and three hundred likes for you!”
These were the right reactions to have!
Sage sent an eye rolling emoji to the group with her brothers, and a string of heart emojis to the group
with the girls. She then changed and got ready to go to a party with Robert. As soon as they arrived in
Birmingham, Tim called.
Tim’s voice was deep, “Where are you?” “Going to a party with Robert.” Tim said, “You? Dancing?”
“What do you mean, Tim?” Sage was unhappy, “Even though my limbs were not so well coordinated,
it’s just Tango, I could just move around.” “You could. I could not afford to see you embarrassing
yourself,” Tim said, “You would make it to the headlines. Come back home, now.”
Sage was just about to talk back, but was confused to hear him saying “make it to the headlines
“What?!
