Sage pressed her lips together. She could still feel Jace on her lips. she could feel heat sp

She was as red as a tomato.
Jace noticed her expression and hurriedly walked over to her. “Why is your face so red? Are you gettin
g a fever?” He then placed his hand on his forehead.
With her lips pressed tightly together, Sage remained quiet.
Yoel could not hold back anymore and sighed softly, “I was about to praise you for being smart but here
you are, acting all silly again. How is it that you‘re getting a fever after just a kiss?”
Yoel continued yapping, “It‘s obvious that Sage is getting shy.” “Shut up!”
Jace and Sage shouted at Yoel at the same time.
Covering his face with a pillow, Yoel concluded that both of them were equally hot–tempered.
Yoel thought that he should protect his life by staying away from both of them.

Yoel only showed up because he had something to discuss with Sage.
He imported horses from Riverside City and he picked up two horses for Sage‘s parents as a gift.
Sage glanced at him. “You know that there‘s no use in pleasing my parents, right? My parents have no
say in Melody‘s business. If this is about Melody‘s marriage, you should talk to Ross instead.”
“I… That‘s not what this is for.”
Yoel tried to come up with an excuse. “I simply wanted to visit them, that‘s all. Nothing more.”
“Right. You better be.” Sage did not believe him at all. Yoel started asking Sage and Jace to buy him a
meal at Tasty Restaurant if they want to keep his mouth shut.
“Pft.”
Sage scoffed coldly, “I think it‘s easier to get rid of you.” Rolling up her sleeves, Sage
grabbed a pillow and started hitting Yoel. The pieces of cotton in the pillows were scattered around the
room. Yoel howled in pain, “Jace, save me... Save me please...”
Jace, who looked from the side, felt pleased at first, but slowly he had a bad feeling creeping up on him
. He subconsciously felt the top of his head as he wondered if he too would be beaten up someday.
Inwardly, Jace secretly decided to be well–behaved when he was around Sage.

With bruises all over his face, Yoel still insisted on tagging along with Jace and Sage to Tasty Restauran
For a foodie, nothing in the world was more important than
having good food. Tasty Restaurant was always crowded during lunch hours and they did not accept res

As usual, the waiting line outside the restaurant was long. Yoel exclaimed, “Damn, look at the long line.
