Sienna looked up and saw Jace’s cold look. She shuddered in fear.
“Jace, a-are you going to look for him?”
The white smoke blurred Jace’s eyes, making it hard to read the color inside.
She could hear only his deep voice, answering her, “He hurt the woman I love. How can I forgive him?”
Sienna thought he wanted to avenge her and seek justice. She looked happy and shy, “Actually, it’s
okay. He didn’t do anything to me…”
“All you have to do is tell me, where’s he?”
Jace’s voice turned icy. Hearing that, Sienna shuddered and said thoughtlessly, “I-I don’t know where
his real home is. I only know that he rents a long-term private room at the South River Club…”
“What’s his room number?”
“880,” Sienna answered mindlessly.
On the screen, Jace rose with a start almost at the sound of Sienna’s answer
The look on his face changed. His face was still cold, but it was a completely different vibe.
“Cole,” Jace shouted, and Cole immediately pushed the door open in response,
“Got it! We’re going now!” Cole shouted back
Sienna was dumbfounded. What was that? Was he not supposed to get her out?
In the ward, off the screen. Sage shouted, “Luther!”
“Got it. I’m sending someone over there now!”
Luther rushed to make the arrangement. It seemed like Sienna would be stuck in jail for some time.
Luther’s utmost priority was quickly rush to the South River Club and catch that Mister Jekyll!
Sage could not sit still anymore. She got up to change, wanting to leave.
Before she snapped the computer shut, she heard Sienna’s incredulous shout from the video.” Jace?!
Didn’t you come to get me out of here? Why are you leaving? Don’t go, Jace…”
Jace turned to look at Sienna, but his eyes were void of warmth.
A faint twitch appeared on his mouth. He uttered, “Thank you for your cooperation.”
Then, he strode out of the interrogation room.
Sienna finally realized the truth. The conversation earlier was just an act! Jace had no intention of
getting her out of here. He was just trying to get her to talk. When he was asking for Mister Jekyll’s
whereabouts, he did not mean her when he said the woman he loved! It was Sage!
It was all for Sage!
Sienna could not accept the truth anymore. She tried to run out, but the police officers restrained her.
She kept struggling and shouted in exasperation, “Liar! You lied to me! We loved each other for so
many years. How dare you lie to me!” Sage slowly snapped the laptop shut, blocking out Sienna’s
angry scream. Sage’s lashes fluttered thinking about what just happened. A smile surfaced on her
mouth. “What a good acting.”
Luther just instructed the driver to drive. Then, Sage suddenly got into the car too. Luther looked at her
with a horrified look. “What are you doing here?”
“I’m going too.” Sage pinned a Swiss Army knife to her back and bent to fasten her shoelaces. She
casually tied up her hair with a rubber band and looked sharp. It was clear that she was headed to a
fight.
Luther observed her and asked, “Are you going to escape like this? Will Tim and Kane ever spare
you?” “They’ll beat you up in the worst-case scenario. If you don’t try, you’ll never know.” Sage arched
her brow at Luther and told the driver, “Drive!”
As the car drove over, Luther’s eyes were still wide in shock. He wondered if he heard her wrongly.
“Beat me up?”
