Seeing that Sage was being so Frank, Tim did not get mad at her. He said lightly, “Even if he comes
out, then what? You want to fight him to death, to the extent of risking Krissy’s life?” “1…” Sage found
herself unable to choke out a word in protest at all.
Tim raised his eyes. His blue pupils were cold and distant, “I thought that you have experienced a lot in
the past few years, and your temperament has become a lot more stable, but I didn’t expect you to be
so impatient.”
Sage’s heart was instantly frozen. She was not afraid of Tim scolding her, but she was afraid of seeing
him in disappointment.
Even the slightest sign of disappointment was unbearable for her.
“I’ve told you many times. Don’t be impatient. The enemy is in the dark, and we’re exposed publicly.
What we have to do now is to keep a low profile. Let the bullets fly as much as they want, but don’t lose
patience.”
Tim’s voice became stern, “But what have you done? In order to catch Jekyll, you did not hesitate to set
him up with yourself involved and caused a car accident. Before the injury on your head was healed
completely, you want to risk yourself again?”
He stared at Sage. His usually indifferent and calm face was not as sharp as a knife, emitting cold aura
like strong waves hitting on the shores,
“I asked you to come to Yathein to make sure you have a safe environment, not to make yourself
killed.”
As his final word registered, Sage’s heard trembled fiercely, followed by her body. Raising her head,
she looked at Tim who was as cold as a glacier. She was terrified. After Tim finished scolding, his
anger subsided. He sorted out the self-critique papers, folded them up and said in a flat voice, “If you
can’t control your impulsive actions, then I’ll take over the control. From now on, stay in the Meadow
Castle and don’t go out.”
“What?”
Sage raised her head abruptly. She, was now placed under house arrent? “Don’t do this, Tim. I know
I’m wrong, okay?” Sage stepped forward and pleaded. “I can control myself. My self-control is very
good. I’ll listen to you. Just don’t put me under house arrent…” Tim left a sentence mercilessly, “What
you say doesn’t count. What I say is the verdict.”
No room for discussion?
The thought of being locked in the castle and unable to go out made Sage almost want to bang her
head against the wall.
She was unrestrained and loved freedom by nature. How could she endure being locked up like this?
She immediately created a group and pulled in all the brothers except for Tim. She did not even let
Ross and Sean go.
(Sage: Guys, Tim wants to confine me. Help!) [Kane: What happened?] (Seth: Why? Did you make Tim
mad at you?]
[Nigel: What trouble did you get yourself into?] (Luther: It’s only been a few days, my lady. How much
more do you want to cause trouble?).
(Ross: ?]
(Sean: …) Sage held the mobile phone and briefly explained the whole story.
The group was silent for half a minute.
Then…
[Sage: Why nobody speaks?]
No one replied to her. She clicked on the upper right corner and checked the group members. She
found that … she was the only one left.
They all left the group! Immediately afterwards, in another group, messages popped out one after
another. [Luther: I support you, Tim! She should be punished for being disobedience. If we don’t teach
her a lesson, otherwise she will really go overboard!]
(Nigel: Sage, just listen to Tim. Don’t make him angry at you again, otherwise we won’t be able to help
you.)
(Seth: Sage, be good. You know Tim loves you the most.]
(Kane: Good thing to lock her up, she deserves it! Tim, teach this girl a lesson for us, don’t be
merciful.)
(Ross: Agree.)
(Sean: Ditto)
Sage went speechless. These traitors!!!
