way he could get money was to beg on the street like a beggar. In conclusion, Zane’s future rested in

As Sage pushed open the door of the ward, she put on a cheerful smile on her face and called out
sweetly, “Grandpa!”
When she saw the two people in the ward, her smile froze. Yoel was sitting beside the bed with his leg
crossed and peeling a pear. He greeted with a casual, “Hey!”
Sage was speechless. Her face sunk, and she took out an apple from the fruit basket and threw it at
him. He caught the apple precisely with the knife as it pierced right through the apple. Followingly, he
took a big bite of the apple without washing it. After that, he gave Sage a big smile and passed the
peeled pear to Wayne. “Here you go, Grandpa. I took the liberty to answer Sage for you.”
Wayne accepted the pear with a smile.
“Why are both of you here?” Sage asked Yoel and Jace while showing her displeased face to let them
know that she did not welcome them here at all.
“To visit Grandpa, of course.”
Yoel acted like he knew everyone and was close with everyone in the room. “I have heard and admired
the famous Wayne Norah for a long time. It’s my pleasure to meet him today.”
Sage did not believe him and asked, “You know Wayne Norah?”
“Of course!” Yoel was certain, “Do I look like I’m an ignorant person?”
Jace suddenly spoke, “You don’t just look like one; you are one.” He continued to uncover Yoel’s lie,
“Don’t believe him. He just checked it from the internet not long ago.”
Leah and Hunter could not stop laughing. Wayne continued enjoying his pear while looking at this went
down.
Joel said unhappily, “Hey, you shouldn’t expose me! Are you even my friend?”
Jace glanced at Yoel and said, “I thought we have always been just a hi-bye friend?”
Yoel was so angry that he wanted to show his middle finger to Jace. To value love over friendship, they
were indeed just a hi-bye friend.
“Both of you are friends? Not rivals in love?” Wayne suddenly asked. “Didn’t the both of you
fall in love with my eldest granddaughter?”
This time, Jace and Yoel were out of words. No words could ever describe the feeling they felt right
