Sage felt relaxed after taking a hot shower. It washed away all her fatigues and
opened up her pores.
Sage wiped her hair and came out of the bathroom. She still hummed along with the song and was co
mpletely out of tune. However, she thought she sang it well and was lost in her voice.
“There‘s a group of elves on the other side of the mountain. They‘re lively and clever, they‘re naughty a
nd agile...”
While she sang, Tim called.
She answered the call and heard Tim‘s helpless and powerless voice coming from the other end. “Peop
le sing for money, but your singing sucks.” “What? Did you watch a skit or something?”
Tim was speechless. What skit?
Tim massaged his temple and glanced at Yale. He was blunt and not afraid to hurt his sister.” Your singi
ng almost sent Yale to death.” “Huh? Is it so terrible?” Sage stopped drying her hair for a moment and a
sked hesitantly,” Then, is he… still alive?”
“He is for now.” Tim was not good with words, but he liked to speak sophisticatedly. “His finger just mov
ed.” Sage breathed a sigh of relief and
continued drying her hair. “That‘s good.” She gave it a thought and suggested, “Why don‘t I sing him an
other song? Let‘s fight poison with poison?” “Please, no,” Tim rejected firmly without a second thought,
“I‘m afraid I‘ll die before he wakes up.” Sage was lost for words and amused by Tim‘s reaction. “Is
my singing so terrible?” Tim laughed. “Yes.” ‘Fine. You‘re my big brother, and you can mean your word.
But that won‘t stop my passion for singing,‘ Sage thought to herself and snorted softly. She gently tied u
p her wet hair and put her phone on the table. She turned on the table phone and
spoke to Tim while putting on the face lotion on her face. “His fingers are twitching. That means his bod
y is regaining consciousness. He‘ll be awake soon. Don‘t worry too much.” Tim answered with a soft hu
m.
Sage added, “You can talk to him more often. Don‘t be afraid to disturb him. You won‘t scare him as lon
g as it‘s not too loud. Captain Yale isn‘t a timid person.” “He‘s pretty timid,” Tim said.
“Huh?” Sage did not hear clearly and stopped her movement again.
Tim said, “He’s afraid of bugs.”
Sage was stunned. It was unbelievable. She asked again, “Are you saying that Captain Yale is scared
of
bugs?” “Yeah.” Tim put his phone on the hospital bed and turned on the speakerphone. He simply reve
aled Yale‘s weaknesses to Sage right away. “He‘s afraid of all kinds of insects.”
“I didn‘t think he‘d be afraid of bugs.” Sage thought of Yale‘s cold and impassive face and tall figure. She
react in fear of bugs.
“Then how did he handle the missions in the field?” Sage asked with interest, “there are plenty of insects

Sage continued to dry her hair and said, “I had a great time at the meeting today.” She briefly talked abo
