Sage had cooked meals for Jace in the past.

If she could remember, she cooked for Jace multiple times, and she tried keeping each meal interesting

and innovative, so he could fall in love with her cooking. No matter how she tried, Jace never

expressed how he felt about her cooking.

Sage sometimes felt sorry for herself for trying too hard to impress Jace in the past.

Love can make someone feel worthless.

If given a chance, Sage wished to travel back to the past and slap that woman Sage Luz for letting

herself feel so lowly. Jace won’t fall in love with you no matter what you do for him, you idiot. Stop

daydreaming!

But all of a sudden now, Jace wanted to taste her cooking again. Wasn’t he worried about her

poisoning him to death?

Sage let out a cold laugh and said to Hunter, “Make a reservation at Tasteful Restaurant then. Damien

can whip up a few dishes as h e wishes. Also, prepare a five-million dollars cheque debiting from my

account.” Hunter jotted down the list of instructions from Sage and asked out of curiosity. “Will he take

the money?”

Tm handing it over to him no matter what he chooses to do with it,” answered Sage.

Sage thought for a moment and set sight on the painting hung on the comer of the wall, and she

mumbled, “I’ll exchange something else for the porcelain plates if he refuses my money.” Hunter looked

in her direction and saw what Sage was looking at. It was the scenery portrait painting of “Still Forest”.

Hunter looked surprised

“You are letting go of this painting? This was your favorite masterpiece painted by yourself. You didn’t

even agree of selling it at that time when someone offered ten million dollars for it,” asked Hunter

Sage said lightly, “This was no masterpiece. It was just something I painted casually as a kid. My father

was the one treasuring it. I can’t replicate paintings anymore like I used to,” Sage looked at her hands.

She sighed, but there was no regret. She was more focused on creating sculptures compared to

replicating famous paintings. Sculpturing was a craft passed on by generations of the Norah Family.

Back in room Number 77 of Skye Hotel, Jace was stationed in his room all day. He has had two video

conferences today. Other than a day, he was on his computer searching for something.

Yoel looked at his friend, and said helplessly, “You’re back at this? Are you even still good at this? I can

help you if you want. What exactly are you looking for?”

“No, thanks.” Jace rejected swiftly, “It’s easier to do it by myself. You might not get what I needed.

Yoel felt sad after he got rejected.

Jace turned off his computer as he looked at the time. He changed into a fresh shirt and added a tie.

He then changed into another outfit as he didn’t feel like wearing the first one. Jace took this date

seriously.

Yoel crossed his arms and teased Jace, “Enough, you look dashing already. People will think you are

going on a blind date.”

Jace thought in his heart, that he wouldn’t even bother if it was a blind date he was attending,

Yoel said again, “Wait no. You won’t care if it was a blind date. I still can’t believe it! Did you get it

wrong? Did Sage say she’s treating you to dinner?”

“What?” Jace said as he rolled his eyes at Yoel, “You have an opinion about this too?”

“Not an opinion. But I do have some advice,” said Yoel as he walked over and picked another tie.

“You’re always styled like an old man. Change to this one instead, you will look better in it,” added Yoel.

Jace looked at the red tie and looked at Yoel all confused, “Red? You sure?” “Just listen to me.”
