Jace suddenly opened his mouth and it shocked everyone in the car but Sage. She let out a frown. Jim

tilted his head and looked at Jace.

“I’m twenty years old.”

Just twenty years old.

“You’re pretty young,” Jace said as he looked in Sage’s direction. Sage looked at him and felt mocked

as if Jace implemented her relationship with Jim was unusual. As Sage was about to

clap back, Jim said calmly, “Not, I think maybe that made you, Uncle Jace felt old instead.”

Sage held back her laughter. That was right, Jace is over thirty years old.

Jace said lightly, unbothered by Jim’s remarks, “If you call me an uncle, you have to call that lady

beside you an aunty. I was her husband, after all.”

Sage was not worried about his mockery and she turned to him and yelled, “Uncle!”

Jace was speechless. He looked at Sage and felt ridiculous, and laughed, “What did you just call

me?»

“You’re an uncle, I’m calling you Uncle Jace.”

Sage never called someone uncle so sincerely in her entire life, she looked at Jace innocently and

earnestly said, “You’re pretty old.”

Jace felt as if he was stabbed in the heart. He was only about 5 or 6 years older than her.

Was he that old?

Jim looked at Sage and said in a serious tone, “The ugly ones will be called Aunty, but Miss Sage is so

beautiful, such an elegant young lady.”

Sage caressed Jim’s head and smiled, “That’s correct. Attaboy.”

Jace’s eyes darkened as he felt anger fumed up his chest. He glared at the kid and had the sudden

urge to shave all of his pretty hair off his head.

Hunter and Zayne both pretended to be at work looking at their phones as they dared not to look up.

What happened? They felt like getting out of the car that instant.

The situation in the car was quiet once again. Jace pursed his thin lips and continued questioning, “Are

you still in college?”

“Yes, I’m a sophomore.”

“Salem City?”

“Yes,” Jim answered.

“Which college?”

“Sunrise University… I see,” Jace paused as the car became all silent again. He resumed again after a

minute, “What’s your name?”

Jim paused as well, and he looked at Jace coldly, “Jim Sylas.”

Jace deduced his relationship with Dean Sylas with his last name.

“Do you have other relatives?”

Before Jim could reply, Sage could not handle it anymore and glared at Jace coldly, “What is it with

you? Are you interrogating his entire family tree too?”

Jace stared back at Sage’s face and he smirked with softened brows, “I’m just chatting with the boy,”
