Why would he come again? Sage frowned hard and shouted his name from behind. “Jace!” “Don’t you
come again!’ she thought as the door closed with a snap.
Meanwhile, in the next room. Laura lay on her back while getting chiropractic treatment. She turned her
attention to Kane who was standing beside her. “Hey, bro? Why do you come here every day? Do you
like watching me suffer or something?” Kane held his black phone and looked up upon hearing that.
“Yeah,” he muttered. Laura was confused. “Huh?” Kane added, “It’s pretty fun.”

When she moved, Melody warned, “Hey, don’t move.”
Laura dared not move. She only gave Kane a fierce look.
If the injury was not holding her back, she would have beaten him up then and there. How could he

Laura turned her head to the other side and looked at Yoel. “Hey, you. What are you doing here

A playful smile appeared on his face. “But it’s pretty fun to watch you get tortured. I never thought that
the almighty Camel, the best female machine gunner of Team Draco would fall to this. No, I have to film
this to show our comrades. I mustn’t keep the fun for myself.”
Yoel was about to take out his phone and turn on the camera to film Laura. Before he could even press
the button, he was met Kane’s cold, sharp eyes.

traces of warmth.
Laura was about to get angry, but she backed down when she heard Kane’s warning.
Yoel grimaced. He was terrified of Kane and finally put his phone away.
Melody chuckled when she treated Laura, “Camel? Laura, is that your nickname?” “Sort of. It’s a code
name for the operation.”
Laura slumped over lifelessly. “It’s awful. They were the ones that suggested that name.” When she
meant they, she was referring to Jace and Yoel. Melody laughed, “That’s cute.”
Then, she turned her attention to Yoel and asked, “What’s your code name?” Yoel pressed his lips and
said with a straight face, “I don’t have one.” “No, he’s lying.” Laura immediately exposed him and said
with a bright smile, “His code name is Little Dried Fish.”
“Little Dried Fish?”
Melody asked with interest, “Why?” Yoel gave Laura a warning look and warned her not to say
anything. However, Laura simply ignored him. She laughed mischievously and said meaningfully,”
Because Jace is the Old Dried Fish.”
“Huh?” Melody was very confused.
Kane snickered, “An old man and a young man together. How fitting. If you didn’t know, you might think
that they’re father and son.” Yoel narrowed his eyes. Kane successfully provoked him!
