Sage did not have the time to deal with those photos because Jace and her parent were
finally back.
However, the topic of it on the internet was still trending. The number of fans on her Twidder account
continued on to increase. People had kept on going on the comment section and sending messages to
her private message inbox.
Even the production team of The Double Life of Veronique got bombarded by the fans of the movie.
They kept on asking the director and editor the same questions whether the plotline in the movie was
the exact experience Sage had and if Miss Sage, the domineering and strong powerful woman, was a
masochist just like in the movie.
Many movie critics started commenting that this was Sage‘s film debut, so normally, the actors would
look very tense during their first shooting. However, Sage did a great job overall with her expression
and detail. She adapted to the character very well and partly because it was her own experience.
Soon enough, Twidder trended with the specific keywords, Sage played her true masochistic character
in the movie. Many people online had asked her to comment on it.
Due to this matter, everyone gathered together in Rosa Garden to have a family meeting. It was a rare
scene.
Primrose started off, “You should know you will receive much criticism and trouble as soon as you
decided to act in a movie.”
Sawyer looked at Primrose, “Didn‘t you watch the movie over and over again? You even praised Sage
for doing a good job.”
Sage raised her head and looked at Primrose. Her eyes widened like black marbles. “You watched the
movie?”
“I didn‘t watch it because of you. It was because of Seth and Suki. They had really outdone
themselves.”
Primrose was quite stubborn. She’d rather praised Seth and Suki and refused to do the same with her
daughter. Seth and Suki looked at each other and laughed uncontrollably. Sage snorted. Instantly, Seth
decided to ease the tension, “I think Sage did a good job. Tears kept rolling down my face when the
credits rolled. She really did a good job considering that it was her first movie.”
The other fathers also started to praise her and were not stingy with the compliments. “Alright, alright.
That‘s enough. Her self–confidence is about to hit the roof.” Primrose picked a good time to stop the
compliments from getting out of hand. She said, “The most important thing to do now is to deal with the
photos.” Luther was the first one to offer up something, “Why not we let Sage post an explanation on
Twidder that it was a malicious act from someone and the photos were fake and photoshopped?”
“Are you st*pid?” Nigel said, “It‘s easy for people to find out if the photo was photoshopped or not. That
would just cause more troubles.” Seth furrowed his brows and said, “Nigel has a point. People do not
care if the photos were photoshopped or not. They rather believe the unbelievable and are often happy
to see the unfortunate aspects in other people. What they really care about is whether Sage has
experienced it before.”
“Then why don‘t we just have a press conference?” As he was still laying down, Kane suggested, “So
what if you tell people that you were kidnapped? You‘re the victim here. It‘s better than being called a
masochist. Those airheadeds are d*mb. How can someone so inferior and supreme like Sage be
masochistic?” Laura patted Kane and shook her head at him. Then Kane looked over at Sage where
he saw her sitting there spacing out. Her face was pale and no one knew what she was thinking,
