Sienna sat across from Sage. She moved her arm that popped back in place. It was still a little painful,
so she glared angrily at Louis, who was standing behind Sage. Louis was a fool and ungentlemanly.
How was he going to get a wife in the future? Louis looked aloof. He only dislocated her arm because
he had mercy. If Sienna were not a lady, he would break her neck instead of her arm.
Sage knew Sienna’s purpose for the visit. However, she still asked as a courtesy, “Miss Zelda, why are
you looking for me? What’s wrong?”
The enemies came face to face with their eyes blazing with hate.
Sienna really wanted to quarrel with Sage, but it was not the right time. She did not have the upper
hand in her current situation, so she had to lay low. She lowered her head and wore a kind smile.
“Can’t I meet you just for some coffee?”
Sage found her reply hilarious. She ridiculed, “Are we even friends?” Sienna made it sound like they
were acquainted as friends. Sienna continued smiling. “Of course. We lived under the same roof
before. Have you forgotten?”
Sage’s eyes turned gloomy to hear this. “I forgot. Thanks for the reminder.”
How could she forget?
She just did not want to recall that scene anymore. Unfortunately, a certain someone wanted her
memories to come back.
It was a starry night.
Sage spent the afternoon cooking bone broth soup in the kitchen. Jace was busy with work lately, so
she wanted to replenish his nutrients.
She sat in the living room watching TV, waiting for him. She kept waiting until she was about to fall
asleep. Finally, a sudden noise awakened her.
“Is Jace home…”
Sage got up full of joy only to see Jace bring another woman home. She stiffened. The lady wore a
white dress and light makeup. She looked gentle and beautiful like an angel.
“You must be Sage.”
Sienna stepped forward and held her arm affectionately. “I heard about you from Jace. You must be
Sage Luz. Your name sounds nice, and you’re beautiful. Jace is so annoying. He didn’t tell me about
his marriage. Otherwise, I’ll be back to attend your wedding no matter how busy I’m abroad. I’ve
missed…”
She went on and on and paused to cough.
Jace supported her and wanted to bring her upstairs. Before they went upstairs, Jace looked like he
had just remembered something and turned back to inform Sage, “Sienna has weak health. She’ll be
staying with us for a while. She won’t disturb you, and you don’t need to be responsible for her daily
necessity and meals. I’ll make the arrangements. Just do what you need to do.” That was Sage’s first
meeting with Sienna. Her second meeting with Sienna was in Sienna’s room. Sienna appeared like she
meant no harm and said with a smile, “I’m already here. You should give him back to me.”
Sage felt disgusted whenever she thought about this. Worst of all, the perpetrator kept coming back to
remind her of all these.
“You seem proud to be a homewrecker. Both Luna and you are amazing. If you don’t want me to pour
this cup of black coffee on you, I advise you to cut to the chase quickly. I don’t think you can bear the
consequences if you continue to bring back my bad memories.” Sage’s threat made Sienna’s heart sink
She bit her lips and pleaded, “Miss Sage, please have mercy? Please forgive Aunt Luna and me?
