Yoel gritted his teeth with his eyes closed, anticipating the pain. However, he only felt an itch at the

back of his waist and Melody’s voice saying, “All done.”

Huh? That was it?

Yoel was stunned for a bit as he opened his eyes! Before he could turn back, Melody held him down.

“Don’t move. It’ll take 10 minutes.”

Yoel was dumbfounded. “You put the needles in already?” Melody replied, “Yes, it was only three

needles. I could do it with my eyes closed. You can even run around once I pull out the needles.”

Yoel was still in disbelief. If what she said was true, how did he not feel a thing? He said to Melody,

“Hey, take a photo with my cellphone. I want to see it. It’s in my pants pocket.” “Why would you want a

photo of this?”

Confused , Melody reached into Yoel’s pants pocket, but her hands were in too deep. She felt

something stiffen up as she searched for his phone.

“Don’t touch that!” Yoel’s face flushed bright red.

Melody was unaware of what he referred to and muttered, “I did not. You have deep pockets.”

She dug out his phone and took a photo. Yoel took a look, and there were indeed three needles

planted in the back of his waist. “You didn’t feel anything, right? I told you I was good at this,” said

Melody, full of confidence. She put his phone away, magically took out two lollipops, and dangled them

in front of Yoel,” Do you want some candy?”

Yoel was speechless. Why was she treating him like a kid? He opened his mouth and said,” Take off

the wrapper for me. I want the blueberry flavored one.”

Melody paused as she unwrapped the candy and squinted her eyes, “Tell me, what was the

relationship between you and Nat?” Yoel stared at the candy and replied, “She said she was my ex-

girlfriend.” “Which ex-girlfriend?”

Yoel said, “How would I know? I can’t remember. I can’t possibly number them after so many

relationships.”

Melody’s face turned dark, “Why are you such a player?”

“I can’t help it,” sighed Yoel, “I’m too good-looking. It’s all thanks to my mom and dad.” Melody felt a

sudden urge to punch him in the face. “Why can’t you accept me if you’ve had so many girlfriends in

the past?”

“You’re not the same,” Yoel added, “You’re too young.”

Melody blinked and said, “Does that mean you’ll accept me when I’m older?”

Perhaps it was for the candy, so Yoel, the foodie, replied, “Maybe.”

Melody stuffed the unwrapped lollipop into his mouth as soon as she heard his answer.

Time flew by as they chatted away while enjoying their candy. Ten minutes later, Melody removed the

needles as the consultation room door was opened.

Sage’s voice was heard from the door, “Melody, all the rooms are full at the moment. Can you give me

some space—”.

Before Sage could finish her sentence, she saw Yoel lying face down on the bed, undressed. Her face

turned cold. Before Sage could say anything, Laura yelled, “You’re a monster! Why would you do that

to an underage girl?” Yoel was both dumbstruck and confused.
