There was immediately a commotion.
The security rushed upstairs to contain the situation but they did not know what to do as the commotion
involved both Zachary Yuriel and the director of the company.
Sage walked into the crowd with a straight
face. She spotted Zachary right away, reached out her hands, and grabbed him by his collar, causing Z
achary yelping in pain. The crowd, however, turned silent. “Ma‘am.” Louis was the
first to regain his composure. Fixing his crumpled suit, he greeted Sage politely. Sage shot a cold glare
at him. Louis immediately lowered his head, walked over to where she was, and stood behind her.
Mister Holmes covered his nose with a napkin and his hand was covered in blood. “Sage, it‘s painful...”
Sage
still grabbed onto Zachary‘s collar from behind and he was nearly out of breath. Sage though had no int
entions of letting him go. With a cold tone, she asked, “What‘s going on?”
Zachary shot a glare at Mister Holmes and seethed, “I didn‘t like the way he looked. He is lucky that I o
nly beat him up!” Mister Holmes wiped away the blood stains on his nose and then put his glasses back
on. He looked clean and polite. “Mister Zachary, this is the company, not your house. No matter how m
ad you‘re at me, you shouldn‘t have beat me up in front of all these people. Is that not right, Miss Sage
?” “You‘re right, Mister Holmes.” Sage finally let go of Zachary. She looked at him and said, “Now, apolo
gize to Mister Holmes.” Zachary responded, “Sage...” Sage glared at him. “We‘re at the workplace. You
should be addressing me as Miss Sage.” “Miss Sage,” Zachary sulked and corrected himself. Sage ad
ded, “Apologize to Mister Holmes.” Zachary pointed at Mister Holmes and complained, “You want me to
apologize to him?” “Don‘t make me repeat myself,” Sage seethed.
Louis, who stood behind Sage, quickly gave an eye to Zachary. Finally, Zachary pressed his lips tightly
together and said to Mister Holmes, “Sorry.”
Sage then pulled Zachary behind her, turned toward Mister Holmes, and said, “Mister Holmes, what ha
ppened today was entirely my fault. I should‘ve kept a better eye on my
assistant. Please accept my apologies and rest assured that we will cover your medical bills.” Mister
Holmes stared at Sage and tugged at the corners of his lips. “Thank you, Miss Sage.”
“You‘re welcome.”
Sage then turned toward the crowd and announced, “Show‘s over. Get back to work.”
She then stared at Louis and Zachary.
“You two, come with me to the office.”
Entering her office, Sage asked without even looking at them. “Close the door! Now, tell me what happ
ened earlier.” Louis closed the door behind them and Zachary immediately ranted, “That guy...” With his
shoulders slumped over and head hung low, Zachary could not bring himself to finish his sentence.
Henry still waited by the coffee table. He wanted to follow them into the office but Sage did not allow hi
m to.
Louis helped Zachary to finish his sentence. “We overheard Mister Holmes and his assistant bad–
mouthing about you when we were in the washroom earlier. Mister Zachary was angered by it and he st
That‘s some dog fight you got there.” Sage teased them
and went on to ask, “So what did he say about me?” Louis and Zachary kept their lips locked, and neithe
Sage thought that it must be something nasty.
Sage sat in front of the desk
and started pressing keys on the keyboard. She got ahold of the CCTV and played the video. In the vide
