Yoel took the red eye journey and rushed to Salem City from Riverside. He ordered a few dishes from

Tasteful Restaurant before reaching his destination at Skye Hotel.

A few ladies were surrounding Yoel as he made his way up to the penthouse floor to Room 77.

As he unlocked the door, Jace was typing furiously on his keyboard, like he was onto something. His

rear view caught the sight of Yoel entering the room, but his head kept down on the computer.

I went to Sage’s Tasteful Restaurant and got you some food. It was specially prepared by Chef Damian

for you.

Yoel took out the meal boxes out of the thermal bag, his mouth watered as he prepared the food.

Seeing as Jace sat frozen on his desk, Yoel walked over and asked, “What are you looking at? Looking

all serious all of a sudden?”

Yoel walked over to the side of the computer, and took a glance at the display screen, his brows

narrowed, “Kane Hudson?”

Jace hit a few keys on the keyboard, and stopped as the page unloaded. He looked at Yoel and asked,

“You know him?”

Yoel let out a weird smile and said, “Of course, who doesn’t know of the famous Kane Hudson?”

It didn’t sound right

Jace almost never heard Yoel saying such a thing before. He focused back on the screen, speed

reading everything the internet has on Kane.

“He’s the young master of the Hudson Family.”

“Yes,” said Yoel.

Yoel crossed his arms and added, “You should have just come to me. I know more about Kane than

everything you can find from the internet. But why are you looking up at him?”

Jace pursed his lips. His head tightened, it could have been from drinking too much.

He pressed on his temples and his voice strained, “He was with Sage today. They looked rather close

to each other.”

“What?” Yoel’s jaw dropped and his pupils dilated, “Kane is back in town, and Sage knows him?”

According to Yoel’s knowledge, Kane had been actively causing chaos all over the world including East

Asia, Southeast Asia and so on He caused a scene wherever he went.

People rumored that he was trying to seek vengeance for his mother’s death. No one knew who his

mother was, and what kind of revenge he was seeking to get.

Did he succeed already? Is that why he came back?

Upon hearing about Kane from Yoel, Jace stopped eating and looked up at Yoel and asked, “You too

have a grudge against him?”

“Our grudges are too much to handle,” said Yoel.

Yoel scoffed. He swallowed his food and continued, “Our fathers were best of friends and our families

used to be close. However, Kane had always found a chance to bully me together with my jackass

brothers. I almost drowned because of him!”

Jace heard his long complaints and asked, “You can’t fight against him?”

Yoel was suddenly quick to anger upon Jace’s mockery.

“Who told you I can’t?”

Yoel hit the table as he was unwilling to admit the truth, and said “I used to be weaker as a child. But

now I’m from the special forces. You’re telling me I can’t fight against him?”

Unbelievably, Jace told Yoel, “I fought with him today.” “What? You fought with Kane?”
