After taking a look at Jace’s condition, Sage started making preparations for the surgery.
The first thing she needed to do was to shave all of Jace’s hair to prevent the hair from getting in the
way during the surgery.
“My my, what a pity to shave off all of such a good-looking guy. I can’t bring myself to do it.” “Stop being
dramatic! We’re going to open up his skull anyway. What’s the fuss with shaving his hair?”
“He’s Sage’s ex anyway, it doesn’t matter that he looks ugly.” “From what I gathered, Jace is hurt
because he saved ma’am. So I would recommend that you guys be more careful when handling him.
We can’t be sure that ma’am might not go soft hearted and get back together with Jace.” “Is ma’am the
kind to go soft-hearted?”
Everyone shook their heads.
It was Sage. Walking into the operating room dressed in surgery scrubs, she asked, “What are you
guys talking about? Talking bad about me behind my back?” “No!” They replied at the same time. One
of the staff finished shaving Jace’s hair. “Ma’am, it’s done.” Sage walked over and said, “Let’s start.”
“Yes, ma’am!”
Jace had an intracerebral hemorrhage and Sage had to conduct a minimally invasive surgery to
remove the excess blood clotting.

Jace had a long dream.
In that dream, he was saved by Doctor Grace after the accident and he was able to recognize his
caretaker, Sage Luz. He also remembered that Sage Luz was the little girl that he saved during one of
his missions. She flashed a wink at him and said, “Jace, I’m here to repay you for your kindness.”
She then stayed by his side, taking care of him, making him laugh, cooking for him, and even
showering him…
He was always short-tempered but he could never bring himself to be mad at her.
When his mother forced him to get married to a doctor, he rejected his mother, pointed to Sage, and
said, “I want her to be my wife.”
On the night of their wedding.
She laid on his arms in bed. She told him about her real identity – that she was Sage Norah, a young
lady of the Norah family.
He was startled. But he only asked her, “Aren’t you scared?”
The Yuriels and the Norahs had bad blood.
“That’s why I chose to hide my real identity.”
She then went on to tell him about how her uncles made it difficult for her and how they tried to steal
the assets and inheritance that her parents left for her. With tears in her eyes, she told him that her
parents died in a car accident on the trip to Nadeem City.
Jace was grateful for her love and also felt bad for what she went through. He promised her that he
would take good care of her and keep her uncles under control.
Under her care, he then started to recover. They moved into Yuriel’s mansion later on. She
loved roses so he planted roses in the backyard just for her. And they soon lived happily ever after.
Seeing how Jace, who was still unconscious , curled up his lips, Yoel felt chills running down his spine.
“Has he gone… crazy?”
Laura, who noticed it too, frowned and replied, “It’s possible. He did have his head opened, right?
Could it be that his IQ returned to when he was three?”
Jace slowly opened his eyes, regaining his consciousness. “Oh lord, you’re finally awake!”
Yoel hurriedly pressed the bell on the headboard. “Do you know who I am?”
Jace stared at him and frowned. “Sh*t! Don’t tell me that he’s lost his memories.”
Yoel pointed to himself and said, “I’m your father.” Jace moved his lips and repeated, “I’m your father!”
