Zachary had been crying since he heard about his brother’s death. His handsome face and eyes were
swollen from crying so much.
Among the Yuriel family’s younger members, Sage interacted with Zachary the most. She treated him
like her little brother. When speaking to him, her cold expression unknowingly softened. Sage suddenly
recalled something and said, “You asked for a gift, and I brought it for you. I’ll send it to you in a few
days.”
“A gift?” Zachary froze, then understood what she meant. He looked a little awkward and rubbed his
nose. “O…okay. Thank you, Sage.” Sage found his reaction slightly strange.
The next moment, Zachary handed over the phone he was holding to Sage. Sage took the phone and
looked at him in confusion. “What’s this?” Zachary explained, “T…this is my brother’s. I was using this
phone before, but my brother took it. The password is 131420.”
“Anyway, you’ll understand after you open it. Just to let you know, I was forced to do this!” Zachary
turned around and hurriedly ran away after saying that. He feared Sage would hit him
after seeing the content. Sage held the phone and was stunned. She vaguely sensed something.
Luther was puzzled. “What is this kid doing? He talked so much.”

Tim noticed Sage froze with the phone in her hands. The bickering noises from the room were still not
stopping. Tim frowned and said in a deep voice, “Come on. Let’s get out of here.”
Sage held the phone and remained silent on the way back.
When they arrived in Looming District and opened the doors, all her brothers were there and looked at
her in unison.
While on the way back, Luther was blathering about Jace’s will in the group. He told the brothers that
Jace had left his properties and shares to Sage, leading to a heated discussion in the group. When
they saw Sage, they cut to the chase and asked, “What do you think? Do you want his
inheritance?”
Sage did not say anything. Her throat was dry, so she went to the coffee table and poured herself a
glass of water.
Nigel said, “I’d say yes. Why shouldn’t she take it? Sage wasted so many years in her youth for him.
She even took care of him for three years without any compensation. He’s the one who left the
inheritance to her. She should take it. Anyway, she deserves it.” Luther rolled his eyes. “Nigel, you
make it sound so easy. Sage can take Jace’s fortune, but
what about the position as the Yuriel Group’s CEO? She isn’t the Yuriel family’s daughter-in law. Why
should she be in charge of the Yuriel family’s nonsense?” Seth nodded. “I agree with Luther. We don’t
need his fortune or property. It’s not worth it for Sage to sell herself to the Yuriel Group just because of
a will.” Kane was not here tonight. Laura was coming to Nadeem City, so he went to the airport to pick
her up.
Ross was here, but he stayed silent gloomily. Nigel, Luther, and Seth had their own opinions and kept
bickering. At last, they looked at Tim. Tim remained silent with a grim face. The three men did not dare
to ask Tim anything, so they turned to Ross instead.
Luther walked over and nudged Ross. “Ross, say something.”
“I have nothing to say.” Ross’s face was calm. He glanced at Sage with an indifferent look and said,
“Others may not understand your sister, but shouldn’t you know her well enough? No one can stop
what she wants to do. No one can force her to do what she doesn’t want to do either.”
That was true.
Nigel, Luther, and Seth quietly agreed in their heart. They looked over to Sage in unison. It was up to
her.
Sage was exhausted. She could hardly think when her mind was jumbled up in a mess. “It’s late
already. Let’s get some sleep.” Tim gave his orders, so everyone dispersed. Nigel went to Emerald Bay
Inn to meet Sean and took Luther with him. Tim and Ross stayed to watch over Sage.
After saying good night, Sage returned to her room. She was still holding on to the phone Zachary had
given her. When she got into the room, she entered the password with her trembling hand and
unlocked the phone.
