No one expected Sage to arrive, including Seth. He was pleasantly surprised to see her.
Dean’s eyes softened the moment he saw Sage. He could recall most of the memories last night
although he was semi-conscious. He might not be able to escape if not for Sage’s arrival in time. Also,
Sage managed to grab him before he fell on the sharp glass. Dean was not able to describe his exact
feelings. It was as if he was pulled out from the darkness and into the light. “Hey, you came,” Seth
welcomed Sage with both hands ready to embrace her, but she pushed him away.
She looked up and into Suki’s direction, “Seth, please! You know someone gets easily jealous.”
Suki knew she meant her, and her face turned bright red. She felt slightly queasy.
It was a weird feeling. After knowing that they were blood-related, Suki did not mind Sage at all. Her
hatred just vanished as if it never existed.
Seth felt both helpless and humored upon seeing his sister being naughty. He lightly caressed her
head.,
Sage did not like it.
Xavier’s jaw dropped upon seeing Sage, and his eyes almost popped out. He came forward. Although
Xavier only met her once, they were at war together last night. He could consider them war buddies
now!
“Hey, buddy… no, Madam Page… no, Miss Sage!”
Xavier had his tongue twisted. He almost bit into his tongue, and he gave up. “Is your name Sage or
Page?”
Sage smiled as Xavier left her a decent impression last night. She properly introduced herself again,
“My name is Sage Norah. You can call me Miss Sage, or you could continue calling me Madam Page,
it is up to you.” Xavier’s heart melted upon seeing Sage smile, and he said without thinking, “Why did
you intentionally make yourself look ugly?”
Everyone wanted to be as pretty as possible, but Sage was completely different.
The woman full of freckles was completely different from the goddess in front of him. “Stop asking so
many questions!” Seth knocked on Xavier’s head and stopped him from asking further. Seth knew
Sage was an impatient woman and she could lose it if he asked any further.
Even her brothers are afraid of her.
Dean knew Sage. He met her at the Timeless Magazine’s Charity Ball, but she was in the front
row seat while he was performing on stage.
He gave his best that day and his performance was outstanding that night. He saw the spark in Sage’s
eyes, and he felt motivated. “Miss Sage, thank you for last night. I might be a goner if not for you.”
Dean bowed and thank Sage sincerely. “It was a small matter, but you have to repay your debts,” Sage
teased with a smirk. Dean nodded earnestly and said, “Of course, I’ll do it no matter what is it.”
