The face seemed to change under a different lighting. At a different angle, it looked like a queen

wearing a crown, magnificent. Luther’s eyes were glued onto the intricate ring as he exclaimed at

Sage’s impressing carving skill.

“As expected of the Jade Master, your skills are impeccable. Is there anything else that you can’t do?”

“I’m alright.” Sage blew the jade dust off of her fringe. “Just an almighty being.” Luther chuckled and

booped Sage’s nose. “How cocky.” Luther was happy, it had been a while since he had seen his sister

like that. There was a key shaped pendant on the work table, in the middle of the pendant was a blood

orange colored rose. Luther was able to recognize right away that those were the latest jewelry designs

for Norah Jewelry.

“You carved it yourself this time, are you also planning on showing off your Jade Master title?”

“Congratulations, you got it right.”

Sage took her apron off, packing the two pieces of work to Hunter who had been guarding by the door

the whole time. “It’s done, send it to the design team and have them arrange for the promotional shoot.”

Hunter left with the order.

Sage had been shutting herself in and making that for a few days, her eyes were bloodshot and her

body was covered in dust. All she wanted to do was to take a long shower and get a good nights sleep.

However, Luther would not let her go, “What’re you thinking about? You’ve quit doing this for a long

time, what got you back into this?”

“Who said I quit? I only said I was taking a break three years ago, the media heard what they wanted to

hear and used it as another stunt.”

Sage massaged her sore neck and said wearily, “I have to let them know that I’m still alive. Of course,

they’re not that important, all I wanted was for grandpa to know that I’m alive.”

“Grandpa?”

Luther blocked the door with his hand and said wide-eyed, “Your grandpa, Wayne Norah?”

“Yes.”

Sage leaned lazily by the door, her eyes droopy. “I wanted to do something about Braxton and Zane,

but not without grandpa’s permission. I can’t just send them to jail without his approval.

“The great Mister Norah had not shown his face in a long time, are you sure… he’s still alive?”

Sage responded, “As grandpa used to say, good people don’t live long, whilst the evil ones stay for

decades. His old, evil soul is tough as h*ll, I’m sure he’s around. We’ll see.”

Sage closed the door upon finishing the sentence. Luther paused for a few moments and yelled

through the door, “I’ve installed extra security measures on your files. Be mindful, don’t let Jace and

Yoel hack it again.”

“Those idiots won’t be able to break it, given another 500 years.” Sage murmurs were heard through

the door.

Followed by that was the sounds of water streams.

Luther rubbed his nose, he was thinking of reporting some news to Jace, since that man had been

bribing him with valuables, he felt pretty guilty. However, Sage’s intention was clear.

“I’m not against you doing business with him, but don’t you dare expose my whereabouts to Jace

Yuriel. Don’t try me.” If he gets caught, the other brothers would get to him in the family group chat

before Sage even flipped. Even the eldest brother had said something along the line of — “It’s just a

few million, not like I need them. Come to me if you need help with money, but if any of you dared to

work with a certain Yuriel, don’t blame me for being heartless to you.”
